We chose Sunrise of Boulder for Mom, because it is a very clean and attractive place. Also, the price seemed in line with the others that I had seen, or even a little better. The people have a great attitude and seem to be doing a great job with Mom. They have exercise, music, and games. The place is well kept up and comfortable.

My husband is on a waiting list for Sunrise of Boulder, which is going to work out well for us. The staff was very friendly. It's close to our house, so it's easy for me to visit my husband there. It feels homey. They gave me a whole tour of the place and they answered a lot of my questions. They showed me the dining room. Whatever they had available, they showed me. I was very happy with the way they treated me compared to some of the other places that I had seen. It seemed very clean.

The best about Sunrise of Boulder was how bright and sunny it is. They have very nice staff members. Their menu does not support gluten-free or dairy-free diets. I've met the executive director, sales manager, and one nurse. They were very open and answered all my questions. I think they have a lot of good things there, but they're lacking a more sophisticated exercise room. They have a very tiny little gym with not very much equipment. They have nice dining areas, a nice patio, and some areas to walk outside.

I liked Sunrise of Boulder, but I thought it needed brighter lighting. I'm familiar with Sunrise because my father was in another Sunrise. The only thing was the lighting and the proximity to me. It's great. The layout was the same as the one where my dad lived. It looked like a homey place. It's comfortable and friendly-looking. It looked nice, and it looked family-style. It just didn't have as bright lighting for people with low vision. The staff during the tour was good. The dining room was comfortable.

My father moved into the memory care of Sunrise of Boulder. I think everything is fine, and so far I'm happy and satisfied with the care that he's getting there. I think the physical appearance of the place is pretty good.

The staff was very nice, very welcoming, and very courteous. I liked the community meals, and the laundry services were convenient. The community offered lots of entertainment and assistance. I thought it would be a great place for my dad.

My visit with Sunrise was nice and informative. I haven't seen many activities, just some people playing Scrabble.

Sunrise of Boulder was fine, but I am not choosing it because I had such a great experience at the other place. Everything seemed nice from the looks of things. They have activities -- they do games and movies and things like that. It was expensive.

I had a very positive impression with Sunrise, and that’s where my father in-law lived. It was very welcoming, warm, and very clean. The staff was very friendly, and the people who lived there seemed to be content. I tried the food once; it was not great, but it was OK.

The facility is clean and the care staff people are friendly. More qualifications in senior care would make me more comfortable with the staff. The residents are taken care of, but the wait times for the call buttons seems too long. The food choices are extensive. It should be a simple menu with foods that are easy to eat for elderly people. The corporate office drives the process and I did not get the impression that they can vary from the established routine. The location is very nice across from a park. The price of rent is high for the square footage. A shower once a week is the norm. You can buy extra services if you need more one on one care. The activities are interesting with many well established things to do to keep life happy. No van service is offered by the facility to medical appointments. You need to make your own arrangements for transportation. The facility is on the high end of pricing.

The staff at Sunrise Assisted Living was very friendly, but it just wasn’t the right place for my mom. The rooms were basic; I am not impressed. What I liked most about the facility was that the staff were friendly.

Sunrise of Boulder was in a very large community. It was just very big and not what we were looking for. It was more of a senior community, like a housing community. The dining area had square tables with four chairs and a fireplace in it. It was nice but big. The staff was nice, but, like I said, it was so big that the staff couldn't be in just one area, so we saw very few staff members. One of the residents was very kind to let us go inside the room. It was set up as a bedroom with a little sitting area and a little kitchenette. We only saw the one room. It was clean and bright. The facility was just way too big.

My mom was moved two months ago to Sunrise of Boulder. The size of the rooms is nice. The facility was just recently updated to have new paint and carpet. It’s very attractive; the grounds are really nice. It has walking paths on the property; you can go sit outside. Everybody is very friendly and always refers to the residents by their first name. They recognize me when I go in also. I’ve only had a bite or two of stuff here and there, but the food seems very good, and my mom seems to like it. I know that they have guest speakers come in and talk about travel and different things, but they have art classes and sing-alongs. I know that they did an ice cream social not too long ago, flower arranging, lots of exercise classes, and cooking classes there.

We placed our stepfather at Sunrise of Boulder. We are very pleased with it. He is very comfortable there. It took a while for the adjustment and to establish exactly what he needed in terms of medical care, but it is working out very well for him right now.

Sunrise was very informative. It was a good tour. I got the information that I needed. They took me around to some rooms, and it all appeared nice. The girl who took me around was nice. It was a quick visit.

Sunrise of Boulder was similar to the others, but it was too spread out. The staff was fine. It was more expensive.

Sunrise of Boulder was very nice. They had open spaces for wheelchairs, so that my girlfriend after her surgery on two knees would be able to play cards and do other things in the game room and the library. There was a lot of space for her to be involved with the activities. It was pet accessible, and she could take her pet along. It had courtyards that you could let the pet out in, and they're fenced in.

Sunrise is expensive. Sanitation was average. The staff was average. The rooms were average, not that great, not a lot of sunlight.

My husband has been at Sunrise of Boulder for a year and a half now. I really like the place for him. The caregivers are very nice. He is a little bit picky about his food and he said he didn't like it, but otherwise they are really taking very good care of him. I don't have anything bad to say about this facility.
