The tour at Brookdale North Boulder was done fairly well, except we were not impressed by the facilities or the surroundings in that facility. The rooms were rather small, and the general atmosphere seemed to be kind of not very active. The person who gave us the tour was reasonably enthusiastic about it. We didn't particularly like the rooms, or in general it didn't look like it was very well maintained.

I did a tour of Brookdale North Boulder, and I think it's good. I like the high ceilings. They are very bright, with lots of windows, it's pretty good. They provided me with a meal, and we liked it. They have good people there. The only thing I don't like is that they are independent living, however, they don't have a dishwasher and dryer in the unit, just a public one. The staff is good; they asked me to move in soon, but I can't because I have to take care of stuff. They have someone at the door to measure our temperatures.

My parents were in Brookdale North Boulder two years ago. It's an older facility and not taken care of quite as well as where they're at now. Their food was not great at all. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the staff may be very different now. I don't like the way it's set up. There was noise from the common areas, and they didn't do much about that. Those were some of their complaints about it, but their activities were better and the value for money was pretty good. It was less expensive and you get what you pay for. They had a one-bedroom there.

Brookdale North Boulder was nice, kinda fancy, and seemed really quiet. The people seemed a lot older than me. I'm 72, and those guys seemed kind of lethargic. I'm a guy who's played all kinds of sports and done all kinds of things, but I'm having trouble nowadays. My mind isn't real good anymore; it ain't sharp like it used to be. I spoke to a couple of the staff, and they were friendly, came by, said hi, and introduced themselves. It was pretty laid back, and everything was so quiet in there. I felt like I needed a little more excitement, maybe a gymnasium in there or a lap pool or something like that. There was a lot of reading materials and a lot of quiet environment, and that was my only complaint about it. It's a big place, and it's very nice. I'd be happy to be there, but I'm looking for something a little more exciting. It was a little expensive for my budget. It was just a quick tour of the place, and it was mostly kind of shutdown because of COVID. There wasn't a lot to it. I was there for maybe a half hour to 45 minutes just walking around and looking at things, going in and out of rooms, and kinda staying away from everybody. It was a nice place, and the people were friendly. It was a really nice building, but there was not a lot going on inside.

The people at Brookdale North Boulder seemed very nice and the rooms seemed very adequate. The only downside to it is that it's in a very busy neighborhood. The staff seemed very nice. The dining area seemed fine. I was invited to a special dinner where they're offering a fall themed meal. I'm on the waiting list.

I'm moving to Brookdale North Boulder. It is well constructed. The rooms of the residents are grouped around 2 large atria, so it's quite open. Any level of the residential area is visible from the other levels, so it is very nice and very spacious. The staff members are very good. They have all kinds of field trips. They have people come in and giving lectures. There's also light exercise and easy walking that would not conflict with automobile traffic. This place has the advantage of being in a University Town, which is good for me. The dining area is fine, but I didn't eat.

I liked Brookdale a lot, but my sister in-law was not very happy with how dark the rooms were. Other than that, I really liked the feel of the place. We talked a lot with some of the residents, they were very happy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The activity director was a very fun and dynamic person. The location was 5 minutes closer to us. It was one of our top 3 places.

My mother is in Brookdale North Boulder. It is very nice. They show us a variety of apartments. We eat lunch with one of the residents there, and the residents that I talked to were very friendly. It is a very positive experience over all. I see their calendar of activities. They went to Chicago for lunch they day before. They tell me all the other activities that go on, on a daily basis.

I visited Brookdale North Boulder (Formerly Villas at the Atrium). I like it pretty well. The staff who assisted me was very good. The rooms were very nice; however, the drawback for me was that it didn't have a walk-in closet or granite kitchen. The dining room looked nice, but it wasn't as comfortable looking. It didn't look like a restaurant. It was much like a big dining hall. Everything looked clean and fine; that was good. They had a lot of stuff listed to do -- e.g., a lot of games, a lot of trips to go on -- and they have nice facilities around it to walk around and go out and do things. In that way, it was nice. I like the location and the friendliness.

We just moved my mother into the Villlas at the Atrium. She reluctently moved into a senior home but seems to be settling in nicely. The food is fantastic, mom doesn't like spicy so it is perfect. The place is beautiful and all the staff are very nice and helpful. The beautician Randy is also a lovely lady and does a nice cut. Love the big outdoor balcony on each apartment. My mother has a view of the Rocky Mountains from her apartment, will be truely beutiful in the winter.

We chose Villas at the Atrium for mom because she could smoke in her balcony without asking permission from everyone around her. Some of the activities were bridge, exercise, happy hour, casino nights on New Year's Eve, and some little equipments. But she did not partake in a lot of activities. The holiday food was fabulous. Sometimes it was a little bland but I understand they did not really spice it up a lot for the residents. Mom enjoyed it and she loved it. It was not perfect but it was reasonable. We were really happy with it and we really liked it. I would recommend this facility especially to smokers.

My friend has already settled in Villas at the Atrium. It is smaller than the other facility we visited. However, they have many amenities from the computer room to the dining room. They also have a workout area. They were all very clean and nice. It is just a warm and welcoming place. The people in the office are wonderful. It is also very clean and well-kept. They did go through flood when the superflood came. In fact some of the lower rooms were flooded and they just put the folks in the other rooms that they had available. Even through all that, it was just a very nice place.
