My wife has moved into Belleview Heights. I like the caregivers there. They're very responsive and very helpful. I like the activity level. I just like the hominess of the whole place. I have had a meal there and it's good. My wife is on a finger food menu so that she doesn't have to use utensils so much. Most of the food that they serve as a meal there converts to a sandwich or hand food kind of meal for her, so she's not missing out on too much. They had good salmon and good chicken. For activities, they've got music. I've attended several of their music events, and those are fun. They have several different people that come in and provide music for them. They have activities such as bowling, bingo, and group activities like that. One of the best ones and most popular ones in that community seems to be the reading of the newspaper and discussion from different news articles about different places. One time I was there and there was an article in the paper about Oklahoma, so they discussed temperatures in Oklahoma compared to temperatures in Aurora, and they discussed things that are interesting about Oklahoma as well and had even people that were from Oklahoma that stood up and talked a little bit. Those are always popular.

The layout of Belleview Heights is great. It's in a giant circle and so there's plenty of room to keep going around the hallway. It's not confusing. It's senior friendly. It's like one big circle. I liked the outdoors part for walking, fresh air, and gardening. I liked the individualized care that you would get. The staff was excellent (I spoke with April mostly). I saw a few activities. I saw the room that had puzzles in it and just kind of independent types of activities. I think my father would be better at hands on type things, and they'll do that too. If someone was a former mechanic, they kind of cater to that, like they would ask, "Hey, do you want to help me fix such and such?" So they include the residents as much as they can, because some don't want arts and crafts or certain things. The facility was in excellent condition.

Belleview Heights was very nice. It's a place that I was interested in. I loved where it sat. The community around it was very quiet. There's a lot of greenery. The staff was very nice, very personable, and very caring. I felt that she was hearing what our needs were. There was a piano there and there were people playing bingo. The rooms were very clean. We did not notice any sour odors or soil odors. It was well-clean and very bright. It was decorated with the time period of the individuals that were staying there, kind of for their generation. So, it was done very cutely.

Belleview Heights is a community specifically designed for people with dementia. They can wander and look at interesting things and be safe. My dad moved in there and it looks like they have a lot of singing and music activities. They are also invited to cooking, arts, and painting classes. The residents are quite happy. The facilities are clean, well appointed, very attractive, and spacious. It's impeccable. The staff has been friendly, accommodating, caring, and seem capable. It is an excellent value for the money. It's very, very comparable to everything for what you're getting.

Belleview Heights was a very nice facility. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. It just wasn't quite the right fit for what we were looking for, but they're very good. They had a lot of mind games, exercise programs, and they make sure every resident was involved in their community. It was also very clean.

I toured the Belleview Heights memory care in January. We didn't see much of it because another place that I was supposed to tour called and asked if I could bump up the time, so we had to cut it short. We didn't see the dining area. We just saw the room they had set up for people to look at. The room was nice. It was a little bigger than the others, and it was cozy. They showed us a shared room which is what I'm looking at to keep costs low. It was nice and clean. It looked like everything there was going well. I was way too early, so the staff we were supposed to tour with had someone else. Therefore, the supervisor gave us the tour, and she was very polite and very professional. It was a large building, and I really liked it.
