My mom has moved into The Palms at Bonaventure Assisted Living. They're very caring staff. They really encourage their residents to participate in different activities during the day. They're a little bit smaller than the community we came from. There's a lot more one-on-one attention. Very genuine, caring, compassionate care. I've had several meals, and the food is very good. They have options and work with the residents, so it's not just one thing. Regarding the facility, they are going through renovation, but they're almost done. It's beautiful and clean. New paint, new lighting, and new carpets are coming in. The rooms are big and clean. The floors are nice. We've only been there a month, but the value for money is worth it.

My friends' family have chosen The Palms At Bonaventure Assisted Living for them. The tour experience was excellent. It was airy and relatively spacious. The grounds were garden-like and there was room for walking. The one-bedroom was larger than some of the others we looked at. The staff was professional and friendly. They have the typical things for activities. There is an activity crafts type of room. There is a library and a billiards area. There is a walking path around the grounds, which is very nice as well. The views from some of the rooms are from the courtyard, which is very nice. There is a large window in the living room and the bedroom area, which let in a lot of light. Some had full-sized refrigerators whereas others had smaller refrigerators. It was only two-story high, which was nice and made it seem more open and airy. From the second floor, you could look down on the first floor and the main area. There were two laundry rooms on each floor, so people could do their own laundry if they chose to. There are lots of amenities. The décor and the colors were warm and lighter. I would say the food was good. You are served at the table. It was a very pleasant experience in the dining room partly because the dining room was very open, and it felt more like a nice restaurant. The chairs were plush chairs rather than hardback chairs, and that made a difference. There was a main menu that was published a week in advance, and then there were other availalble choices. There was at least one other choice for the day, and then they have some other kinds of foods, which are available at any time. It's more of a snack kind of thing.

My family chose The Palms as my new home, and I am extremely happy they did. The community is extremely clean, the staff are so kind and helpful, and they have plenty of great activities and evets to keep my mind and body strong. My apartment has a beautiful view of the courtyard. They also welcomed my sweet dog, Harvey, with open arms, the staff even keep special treats for him in their desks and he visits them every day to say “Hi!” I am very thankful that Harvey and I have such a wonderful place to call home.

My father is at The Palms at Bonaventure Senior Living now. They have very caring people, they're very attentive, it's a nice facility with good food. The community itself is very nice and relaxing. They have entertainment, activities throughout the day, and outings once a week. They have nice grounds if you want to be outside. I like that the staff is concerned, caring, and thorough.

I went to The Palms at Bonaventure Assisted Living. It was a very welcoming community. There was a lot of action going on inside. There were a lot of people. People were walking their dogs, eating, and hanging out in the lounge. The director was there, and a lot of programs. They said the food was excellent. I spoke to some of the residents. They had a program where residents would volunteer to befriend new people and introduce them and be their first friends. I thought that was great. The rooms were on the smaller side. We were touring the studio, and there weren't very many of them. They only had one available. I felt they were more like bedrooms with a kitchenette attached. It's kind of dark in the hallways and where the bedrooms are. And I felt like for me, that was a little depressing, but if a person doesn't mind dark rooms, and some people love that, then that would be fine. The dining room was beautiful, was very bright and it would seem like a very comfortable place. There were fireplaces and all kinds of sitting areas, and a billiards area. It seemed like the people were less bored than other places that I'd been to. They took them places more, I feel like that. It was four thousand dollars to start and then the prices went up depending on whatever added care. And that $4000 was for a studio.

We went ahead with this community, and my father-in-law is happy. The staff is very helpful, very caring, and always on top of everything. They're great. I'd highly recommend them to anybody. The apartment is perfect for him. It's everything he needs. They have an arts and crafts room, and they've got all kinds of stuff like a veteran wall. It's just a great place. Right now, they're not doing anything because of COVID.

We visited and it was a very nice place -- the nicest we had visited. My mom really liked it, so it looked like a very viable option for her. I thought the apartments were pretty spacious. I was really quite surprised how nice it was. The colors were brighter and more optimistic-feeling than in other places. The cafeteria, the place where they eat, the rooms, and everything about it was very five-star and very top-notch. I was very amazed.

The fellow who met me was very cordial and very informative. He showed me all of the living facilities that were available and the dining room. They were all very helpful. It looked like a resort home, like something you would experience if you're on vacation. They had everything that you could possibly need. I would recommend it very highly. They had studios and a one-bedrooms. They keep their residents very active with all kinds of entertaining and informative classes. It's something I would definitely entertain if I was looking for a retirement facility. They also had a lot of husbands and wives living there. It was a very nice environment.
