Windsor Hampton Care Center is super clean. They're very responsive. My mother was previously there for two months after she came out of the hospital. When I was working with hospice to find a place, I requested we put her there, and we got her in there in two weeks from the time I requested. It's a really good facility. They always take the time to answer my questions. I am very pleased with them. The staff is very attentive. They're always cheerful and communicate with the family very well. The food is very good and they cut it up real fine for her. She likes it.

My husband moved into Windsor Hampton Care Center today. The rooms appeared to be bigger than other facilities. They have two dining areas with restaurant service. They have a rehabilitation room. The one staff member I talked to was very cordial. The dining room was very roomy, bright, and light.

I visited Windsor Hampton Care Center. The staff was very good. The room looked like a hospital setting. I haven't tried eating there, but I saw their dining room; it was very nice, and I liked it a lot. They also had a lot of activities for the residents. I wanted to get my mom in there for long-term care.

They were very caring with the patients. My mother-in-law was there for a couple of weeks before she passed. Their staff was really helpful, and they provided services for physical therapy, dietary needs, and medications. They have a calendar for events. Windsor Hampton is a pretty good facility. The environment and the sanitation of the room were nice. The patients appeared to be content.

I recently spent time there following open heart surgery at St. Joseph's. This place is OK if you are partially mobile and able to communicate in a couple of languages. Stroke patients or similar are at the mercy of the coin toss. Some staff members are caring. Others seemed clueless over the most minor details. My roommate had trouble speaking clearly and needed time to formulate sentences. Time and time again I witnessed staff ignoring him. I am a diabetic and as I healed from the surgery I found my insulin requirements changing. I discussed this with a couple of the day nurses. A few days later I found my blood sugers reaching dangerous levels. Turns out they had reduced my insulin to 20% of normal. When I complained they then cut it to 10%. One of the night nurses could not figure out what to do. I complained and as a result she made a threatening comment. Part of her duties involved giving me several shots. I immediately called the night supervisor and had her removed from my care. Food was OK for institutional grub and they provided a varied menu. Too much salt and they make the worst coffee. Of all the nurses that treated me, 2 were excellent, 2 were fair and the rest... well... you better be able to argue and if need be fight for yourself. My 2 physical therapists were good...but this place is directed more to patients with motor skills issues.
