I visited a friend who moved to Oakmont of Brookside recently and words cannot describe the friendliness of everyone at this community. You feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I was able to join her for a meal and the food was amazing. Community takes all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their community due to Covid. Hands down to everyone working there.

I toured Oakmont of Brookside. The place was nice. I didn't have any complaints about the place. It was a beautiful location, and they answered all my questions. The customer service was great. The only issue was the pricing, we can't afford to come out of pocket that much. They don't accept any insurance because they are a private place. It was a one-bedroom apartment. It was nice, spacious, and well-lit, and that cooling system wasn't great. It gets really hot.

I toured Oakmont of Brookside. The people were very nice. They had a lot to offer. All the food was excellent and the choices were good. The availability to get around is good. It's very upbeat, and they have a lot of stuff to do. The director was very informative and nice. She gave us a great tour of this facility. The facility itself looked in good shape and it was very clean. There's a lot of stuff like movies every week, movie night, and they even play poker and bingo. They have outings that they do. They have a barbershop or a salon. It's all right in that facility, so that's great. It sounds like being in a hotel.

I like the newness and the cleanliness of Oakmont of Brookside. The staff was excellent. They were very fine people. They had all the facilities there. It's on March Lane, so it's got just about everything around it. It was very well kept.

I visited the Oakmont of Brookside. The facility was nice, clean, and welcoming, and it seems they had all the amenities that we needed. It's a smaller facility compared to some other ones we've seen but they have recreation, trips, food service, and all that. So the tour was good. We saw one of their rooms that was set up for showing, and it looked clean. The person giving the tour was informative and asked us different questions about what we were looking for, what they offered, the availability, and the financing. The dining area was cafeteria-style, and everything I looked at was clean and sanitary with no weird odor. They had meal hours, but if someone had missed something, they had a bistro set up so that people could grab food. They had a small exercise room, a 15-seat movie viewing area with a big screen, and a schedule of activities with trivia and puzzles. They also had a bus you could get on weekly and go sightseeing, or get out of there and see things, and scheduled transportation on certain days for medical reasons or to the doctor.

Oakmont of Brookside was wonderful. The staff was very nice, informative, and very helpful. They gave me a lot of information. I was impressed by their professionalism, their friendliness, and their ability to listen. I liked that it was close to everywhere I needed to go. It seemed that they had everything that anybody would want. They had a gym, a movie theater, an outdoor area for the activities, a hairstylist onsite, a podiatrist that comes in, an entertainment center, and all of that. They were very responsive to my needs. The lady gave me all the information I needed, and answered all my questions appropriately. She left me her phone number so that if I have any questions (which I did), I could just call her.

I was very impressed with Oakmont of Brookside. I would have very much liked to have become a resident there, but their fees were just too high. No matter how I screwed around with my figures, I could not pay that kind of rent. The location is perfect. I have dialysis about a block and a half away, my pharmacy is about two blocks away, and shopping, restaurants or whatever are within a block. It's nice and clean. We were there on Grandparents' Day, so we were served with a lunch. We had a chance to test out the food, and it was very good. Excellent salad, then we had a cocktail, and oh my goodness! We've been talking about that cocktail ever since then. It was so good. They had some housekeeping, weekly laundry, and an excellent exercise room. The staff was marvelous, even in the dining room.

I've toured Oakmont of Brookside for my grandmother, and it is amazing. It is clean, and the staff was amazing and caring. The best way I can explain it is it looks like you're living in a high-end hotel and not in a care facility.

My uncle's pretty happy with this community. He's adjusting well, and as far as the facility is concerned, it's fine. I think they're understaffed. They have more patients than the help, but the staff is alright. He's in a studio and it's fine. I've seen them played bingo, and they have a happy hour.
