Pass if you have options! This facility and staff were once rated very highly. It is no longer this way. It is completely understaffed. The patients need to remind the staff when (and what) medications are to be administered. Hope that your loved one is coherent enough to do this. The food is inedible. There is no professional therapeutic care on the weekends, so your loved one will remain in bed the whole time, which is terrible for rehab patients. If you can, send your loved ones elsewhere. There is , however, a great speech therapist.

The food is inedible. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Room and bathroom were dirty. Go somewhere else.

This facility was supposed to have provided six sessions of physical therapy. It was a joke. The first session was exactly what she expected. Strength training. From there it declined to be in room 15 minutes at best on an erratic timing plan. My mother sat in her bed 24 hours a day. Instead of helping her become independent and use the restroom, they slapped a diaper on her with no plan for helping her to become independent again. Also I had to alert the nurses station myself that she was in medical distress when I had made a phone call to her. What is the irony here? Why does an outsider have to alert the nurses station by a simple phone call to my mother when she’s there 24 hours a day? They ended up calling 911, she was confused due to extremely low blood pressure And also needed a blood transfusion. To me, this is problematic when you and trust the care of your loved one to a facility that claims to be top notch.

Everybody in Meadowood is exceptionally good to my husband and me. When he gets anxious, he goes to the nurse's office and they call me right away. He likes to go and listen to their music, and today we went to their residents' council meeting. They're also having trick or treating later and they're supplying the candies for the residents, so I'm relieved. If there's one thing they could improve on, it's that maybe they should have more employees. While the ones they have are wonderful, they are understaffed.

The staff at Meadowood was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. They place was homey I didn't like the food at first because it was Filipino food and there's a seasoning or something in there that I just couldn't stand. But they had an alternative menu which I preferred and from then on, it was good. I am pretty much happy there. The only thing that they didn't do very is to answer my brother because I had to wear diaper because I had to take this antibiotics that gave me diarrhea. I was still on diaper and nobody wanted to hoop the pants while I had the diaper, he came in a timely manner and assisted me. They need to improve on the reaction time to the patients. But allin all I am satisfied.
