Our Mom spent 4 1/2 years at Skyline Place and recently passed away there. We have nothing but praise for the staff. They loved and cared for her like family. The facility and services were excellent. Mom raved about Skyline to everyone she met. We are grateful for their care for our dear Mom.

We toured Skyline Place. It was very nice. They're new and the people seemed happy. The staff was very positive and took us for a whole tour. They showed us the dining place, where they have a TV and several activities, and the room that my cousin might share with two other people. The dining area looked wonderful. We saw the menu, and if you don't like what's on the menu of the day, you can order something else. So, it gives them a good variety.

I toured Skyline Place. They're developing a new wing, and it was very nice. I liked the safety feature that they had there. They have a camera that would trigger an alarm if a client were to fall. Those were in the new wing for memory care. They showed me the new wing and it's all brand new. The rooms are very nice and roomy. They were nice apartments. The staff was very friendly. She offered me a beverage. She knows all the clients, which was very nice because sometimes you wonder if she knew the residents by name. They seemed to know her and I liked that. I did not try the meal. They showed me the menu and a private dining area for the family and if the family wanted to come and eat with the resident. The menu was nice. I was impressed with the food.

We wanted to move my dad to Skyline Place, it's a beautiful place. It was well-kept and well-taken care of, and the people were very kind. It would be worth looking into for anybody. The rooms were beautiful. They had a studio apartment and a deluxe studio, they were nice enough for one person and you can have pets there. They also showed us a 1-bedroom, everything was just beautiful, and they looked out at the trees and everything. When you first walked in, there was a movie theater where they had a schedule for different movies, and they also do different things. There were a lot of people there. They had a pretty fireplace on the other side where people were just sitting and listening. They also had a list of activities and stuff to do. We saw some of the staff members interact with a couple of people.

My experience with Skyline Place was good, everything was clean. The staff who gave the tour was a good person and compassionate. I have tried the food and I think they could work on it. They had a salon, they had a nice dining room, a game room, or a card room, and it was nice.

We toured Skyline Place, they were going through construction but it's a nice facility. They allow one dog and one cat. The unit that we want is their studio with a balcony. So they have studios with or without a balcony, they have 1-bedrooms, and then they have shared rooms. We're also going to have lunch over there today. I like that their prices were a little bit cheaper than the other place we toured. When we first went, we went without an appointment but they let us tour it. The dining area was very nice and I saw a list of their activities, it looked like they have a lot of activities.

My mom moved into Skyline Place. The place is very nice, very bright, and light. It looks very homey. It doesn't look hospital-like. There are several seniors in the lobby every day just chatting. It's like a gathering spot, and they all look like they're enjoying themselves there. The 24-7 service for respite care is very handy. The personnel is very nice. They return phone calls when you leave messages. They do help you with your questions. Everyone is helpful and very friendly. They get to know you right away and get to know you by your first name. You never feel like you're imposing on them. The cost is very comparable to others, maybe even less so. So far, I'm very pleased with everything about it. It's a very good choice. The room is very nice, and it has a big picture window, so there's always a lot of natural light coming. My mom was very pleased about that. It is very roomy for one person. It's a studio apartment. They have larger rooms if you want them at a higher price. The bathroom is really large, so it's easy to move around in a wheelchair and for a person to be in there with her to help with showers and toilets. There are closet spaces to put stuff in. The bed's very nice and looks like a bed you'd have at home. There's a microwave and a small fridge in the kitchenette. They also can go down to the dining room if they want to. They're not able to respond as quickly as mom would like when my mom pushes her button. My mom understands why they can't, but that's probably her biggest complaint.

Very nicely decorated and lighted lobby, admission desk, activities room, etc. Resident apartments are also very nicely lighted and are painted in a light color to make them feel spacious. Nice views out the large windows. Emergency cord in each room. Residents have pendants to push for help, also. Two story with a caretaker always available on each floor. Restaurant-style dining where the residents come and eat at any table they want, no reservations. They order from a menu, served by a server, with choices for each meal. Place looks great and no offensive odors of any kind. Current rents were $2500 for a shared suite, $3695 for a studio apt, $4695 for a 1-bdrm. Additional cost for care for the resident depending on their level of need. A high level of need for all aspects of daily living might be up around $1000. Each resident is assessed for their needs. All fees are private pay, no Medicare or insurance will pay. Some residents are bed-bound but can still be accommodated there. No skilled nursing available. Group activities including walking where most residents are in wheelchairs or using walkers so no one need be left out. Very nice place.

Skyline Place was a pretty and nice-looking community. We enjoyed the tour. It was well kept and clean. We liked it a lot. The young lady was very knowledgeable, very kind, helpful, and answered a lot of questions. They showed us the dining room, and there was a sitting area outside, like a courtyard. They also had an area where they would play movies.

My father wanted to be in Sonora, so we chose Skyline Place. He's in a one-bedroom mini-suite, he has a partial kitchen, a living/dining area, and a bedroom. They feed him three times a day, housekeeping comes once a week to do bedsheets and laundry, and they come in and clean. It is very expensive.

I placed my father in Skyline Place. I'm pretty happy with the care that they provide there. I haven't been disappointed with anything. They have bingo and other activities. The food looks pretty good, and the staff is great. His room is a five out of five. They have a courtyard. The cost was a shock, but everything else is great. Overall, I'm pretty happy.

The services at Skyline Place are great. We had no problem getting my father moved in and communicating with them. The facility is clean and bright. The residents are very well cared for. The people that work there are very friendly, always there with a, "can I help you," and a smile, and are very good with him. Overall, it's the best place that we could have him in right now. They have movie nights, live entertainment on Friday nights, they made gingerbread houses during the holidays, they go to lunch every month with the director, they go on outings to plays, movies, and shopping, and they have fitness classes. His studio apartment is wonderful. They replaced the flooring and it was very clean when he moved in. He is pretty much wheelchair bound so we needed to have a lower shelf put in and have a TV mounted on the wall. They removed the patio light and moved it up higher. Everything was done in a timely manner. They do the menu monthly and I got that emailed to me. It was all good.

Skyline Place (Milestone Retirement Communities) was a very nice place. I was impressed with the lady that showed me around, and maybe I would move in there someday. Everybody there looked really good, and it seems like a nice place to be. It's really clean, you can look outside, and it has a beautiful view because it kind of sits on the side of a hill. It's really nice and everything looks well-taken care of. It really wasn't all that expensive either at around $3,000 to $4,000 a month. I talked to a guy who has his dog there, and I thought that was great too.

The room at Skyline Place had a microwave sitting on a refrigerator, and there was a nice view of the trees, but it could use a little maintenance. The lobby area looked really nice, and the dining area looked OK. The whole place was basically clean. I was able to talk to the PR person and she was nice and congenial. If I was there, I'd probably spend most of my time in my room.

I am impressed with Skyline Place, the things they do, and how they help the memory care folks. The environment was very good and upbeat. The rooms were large, and the dining room was pleasant and spacious. They have exercise, they take them on shuttles to various events, they have TV time, and the patients can even bake cookies under supervision. There's a list of what they're doing every day of the week.

Skyline Place's rooms are not insulated well, and the bathroom needs updating. They have assigned seating at the dining room, so you never get to talk to new people, and I don't think that's very good. They should be able to mingle and meet new people.
