My dad is a resident of Holiday Simi Hills and is very happy there. The whole staff is wonderful and could not be nicer and more friendly. He is treated so well. The residents are lovely and he’s met many friends. His room is perfect for him. He has a nice size living area with a small kitchenette and a separate bedroom/bathroom. The facility was recently renovated and looks beautiful! The grounds and the views are amazing! He enjoys taking walks outside on the beautiful walking path. They offer plenty of activities and entertainment. I was recently there to watch the Simi Hills Choir perform and they were terrific. My dad enjoys meeting with his friends and all the residents in the dining room for the three daily meals. They have a lot of laughs! We would both highly recommend Holiday Simi Hills.

This is a beautiful independent senior community. We enjoyed a nice lunch with residents on our tour. The staff and the residents were so friendly and welcoming.

We are so fortunate to have found this amazing residence for seniors! My father is 96 years old, he was not ready to live in an assisted living facility but to be on his own was too difficult as he cannot cook or drive any longer. Simi Hills offerred an alternative. He chose a studio apt on the bottom floor which is spacious and suits his needs perfectly. The staff are incredible as well and are always willing to help with questions or other needs! They provide 3 meals a day in the central dining room with some alternative menu options. There are some planned activities and friendly gatherings for those interested. I feel so lucky we found this community!!

The apartments here are lovely...spacious and very comfortable. The food is good and occasionally terrific. It is not "haute cuisine" but, for the most part, the meals are varied, nutritious and tasty. The staff is really excellent: very mindful of our comfort and all our needs. The "handyman" is excellent, as is the "tech person" who comes once a week to help residents with any problems they have with cell phones, tablets or computers. ALL the servers are friendly and fast. The activities are basically good, though it would be fun to have more outings. Whenever they bring in entertainers...they are ALWAYS GREAT! i am really comfortable living here with all the other friendly senior residents...happy to have all my meals prepared for me, my apartment cleaned once a week, and fun activities to look forward to.

I will be moving into Holiday Simi Hills. We chose it because it's the closest to my daughter, the fair price, and the people. The facility was very clean and organized. The food was well presented and very well done. The sales director was very knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating. They have theaters, social rooms, community rooms, and fitness rooms.

Holiday Simi Hills had absolutely beautiful grounds. There were flowers everywhere in the courtyard that were growing and tables and chairs where residents could sit out there. They had a walking path that goes all the way around the facility. They were actually getting ready to go remodeling. The person we worked with was Angela and she was amazingly helpful. The facilities were all good. They have a nice pool table in one of the rooms, that was an activities room, and jigsaw puzzles for the residents to sit at a table and work on. I have a copy of some of their menus and they're all very nice things.

The best part about Simi Hills was that it was clean, it smelled good, and it was well organized. I liked the grounds. The thing I liked the least was it doesn't have a jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing and showed me everything. I'm going back for lunch there. They have everything laid out beautifully. They even have like a little Starbucks pastry coffee thing that's open all the time, so I thought that was amusing. It's very clean. I used their public restroom and it was immaculate.

I liked Simi Hills. It's got grasses, trees, and places to ride my scooter. It's up on a little hill and it's really pretty and nice. I had lunch there and the food was good. The dining area was very comfortable. It's kind of large with all the different tables around, and you sit wherever you want. The staff was real nice, too. They have all kinds of activities. They have a little store, a walking challenge, bingo games, playing and scoring basketball, and a library. I am going to be in a studio and it's a fairly nice room. It's big enough and I got a room for a dresser, my sewing machine, and a refrigerator.

My brother-in-law is now in Simi Hills. It's beautiful. It's very nicely maintained indoors and outdoors also. The staff who assisted me were all wonderful people. They're very nice, very informative, and very knowledgeable about their place. I tried their food, and the little bit I ate was very good. My brother-in-law tells me it's very nice. I noticed various games. My brother-in-law has already played a couple of games of chess with a gentleman. He has only been there since Sunday night, and there are various games. He has a very nice studio. He has a TV, a chair and his bed. I wasn't there enough to talk to the staff, but when I was there, they were very good.

Simi Hills was an interesting place. We have dogs and we liked that the apartment would open out to this large, grassy courtyard. Their living quarters were the nicest ones that we saw. They were able to answer all my questions, too.

We're at Simi Hills and we really like it here. The people are very nice, and the help is good. I don't have anything bad to say about it. Especially during the COVID problem, they've managed that quite well. We're very happy here. All of the staff that we've had anything to do with has been excellent. We've had no problems. My husband has rehab nurses come here for a fall that he had. The food is good. As far as the activities go, we haven't had any time to join in on those, and they're pretty limited at the moment. They have a new gym that they put in, but only one person at a time can go in there. We love our room. It's very spacious, and considering we moved from a very large house, we're not cramped in here at all. It's two bedrooms, and it's just really nice. We have a nice patio, and we really like it. The atmosphere is very, very good. I'm very pleased with the place. The value for the money is good.

Our experience with Simi Hills was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was older and looked a little tired. The decor looked older. It's a beautiful area, and it's a great location as far as nice mountain views. My husband's mother lived across the way in independent living. It's a nice area, it's in Simi, and it's close to shopping. The grounds were nice.

My mom is currently at Simi Hills, and up until COVID it was great. They had lots of activities, the food is good, and everyone is very friendly. They have caring staff. Post-COVID, not so much because they shut everything down and so the residents are just stuck in their apartments. They're just starting to reopen some things now, so I am hoping that will be beneficial. My mom's room is nice. They have very nice apartments here. She enjoys the food and she's put on weight. They are not doing as much as they used to because of COVID.

My tour at Simi Hills is very nice, and I found it to be very attractive. I also like the location. They offer everything that the more expensive places offer, except they don't have a nurse-in-office in their building. They have a working relationship and would refer you to a care provider if you need a nurse there. The staff was very helpful. Their dining room is closed right now.

I was at Simi Hills yesterday, and it was a very good visit. We are very seriously considering it. It was very positive, they were keeping things clean, people safe, but also allowing for freedom which is what I'm looking for. It looked like they were clean and smelled good. I talked to one resident and a family member, and they liked it there very well for the last four years, so that was positive. Kaitlyn was very friendly, very accommodating, professional, and gave me a thorough tour. I got to walk around and see what I needed to see. The facility was very nice and adequate for our purpose.

My parents-in-law have been living at Simi Hills for a couple of months. They have a skilled nurse there to help with rehab. They have pleasant one-bedrooms and studios, and they provide a refrigerator and all utilities except for phone. The apartment itself is in a nice area with balconies for views. The grounds are well-managed, and you can have pets. They also have meals on-site and the menu seemed pretty varied and well-designed for their needs. They also have a whole list of services. It seems to be a very accommodating place. The residents don't like it, they love it. The people seem to be very friendly and open. They're not out just to get your money but to provide services. They're willing to work with you and care about your well-being.

We found Simi Hills. My dad is in a good place now. The staff is great. They have amenities, but a lot of the things that they told me in the beginning, I haven't found yet. They mentioned the transportation, and there has not been any transportation. However, I would like to specifically give a shout out to the assistant manager and her husband. They are amazing. They have made it very great for my dad in transitioning. They're very helpful. They actually go out of their way to make sure that my dad is in a good position.

I very much like Simi Hills. The location was excellent, the food was good, the gentleman who showed me around was very knowledgeable, and there were many things to do there, but it just didn’t fit my budget.

Everything about Simi Hills was beautiful but too expensive. They had all different activities and food in a big dining room. It’s not assisted living but close to it. The staff was very friendly. There’s a nice fellow that calls every now and then just to check in with me. They’ll take you to your doctor’s appointment, if you need it.

The first place I visited was Simi Hills. I was impressed with the facility. Everything was nice. The staff was very nice and showed us the rooms, the dining facilities, the courtyard, and probably everything else. I was impressed. The rooms were pretty small, like there's no way I would fit in the one-bedroom unit. I had to have a two-bedroom unit, and they did not have a two-bedroom available. The dining area was restaurant-style and looked very friendly. They had servers just like a restaurant, and it was very nice. They had a spa, workout facilities, an activities calendar, and a lot of menus for dinner. It looked like they were pretty well booked for things to do for the month.

Simi Hills is fabulous. If I could, I would live there. They have beautiful apartments with balconies that overlook the courtyard. It's a yellow wood structure that's two stories and all white trimmed. The gardens are just beautiful. The staff is so helpful and kind. When I went in there, they were all waiting for dinner, and a fellow resident was playing the accordion. The whole room was filled and every table was full. It's like a huge ballroom. I love it. I was so impressed that I didn't even want to look at the other places because I live in Simi and my cousin lives in Long Beach, and my goal is to get him the closest to me as possible.

I was in Simi Hills for a couple of months. It was a very nice place, and the service was very good. They came in once a week, changed our linens, vacuumed, and dusted. There was a dining room for meals. I had a little apartment with a fairly good sized living room, at one end a little kitchenette, and it had a separate bedroom and bath. They had the usual activities like bingo and crafts.

I liked Simi Hills a lot. It felt very warm and homey there. The apartments were large, which was nice. They showed me their schedule, and they had their shuttle, happy hour, and barbecues. The décor was a little dated. The staff were casual, friendly, easy going, vivacious, and fun.
