If you have a loved one in this place, get them out now. I cannot stress that any stronger. My Mother was recently admitted after being at Marian. She was in there for 5 days and never saw a dr. The nurses flat out lie and do not do their job. We had to get my Mothers PC involved to get her out of there and that was not easy, hence 5 days. My Mother had a stroke while there and nobody caught it, my sister did. If we had not got her out, I’m positive she would no longer be with us.

My mom stayed in Villa Maria Post Acute, and I didn't care for it. She was in there twice. The first time it was a lot better. The second time, I don't know what happened, but it just wasn't as much up-to-date care, communication, and in keeping her clean. With the food, I think she said she liked it. At one point, she said that they were gonna move her so she could be happy, and they could take her out on a patio, but that never happened. They did therapy with her too, and she was able to get up and get out from there. Sometimes the facility just kind of smells.
