My mother-in-law is currently in Valley Oaks Village. It is a nice place. She's got a nice apartment and has a little view out the back. She doesn't take part in that many activities, although she does meet up with her friends. They don't have the breadth of activities and stuff we saw at the other facility, but they have their monthly dinner and get-togethers. I think that they do have a good value deal.

I feel compelled to express my utter frustration and disappointment with the management at Valley Oaks Village Problem 1 - On 6/30/23 signed a lease, paid rent and security deposit. Asked for lease. Was told someone else had to sign. A week later I still don't have executed lease. Problem 2 - Ad show parking and was mislead to believe there was parking for a 1,825 a month building I expect it. Never got it. Moved out after one night as the controlling management was horrifying.

As a long term Tenant, I have to say the Manager at Valley Oaks Village is not only absent much of the time and non responsive, she is down right abusive. The parking is a nightmare. I parked in the visiter parking in order to unload my groceries and the manager had my car towed. It cost me $400 to get my car out of storage. As a senior citizen on a fixed income this has caused me a great hardship. I don't recommend Valley Oaks Village.

I moved into Valley Oaks Village. I thought it was well managed from the discussion that we had. It was very quiet and clean when we walked in. The person we talked to was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and gave us the information I was looking for. They have activities, and it's very close to a senior center, so if I need anything, I can go there. My room is quiet, small, and a little dark. We have had wine and cheese, and dinners.

My mom moved into Valley Oaks; it was close to where I live, so it was convenient. It was beautiful, it had big oak trees, and it had a beautiful area. They played Bingo, they had a library, a pool, and a gym, and they had bible studies. They take them shopping or sometimes lunch or dinner. They don't serve meals, as the apartments had kitchens, but sometimes they serve donuts and coffee. They have a car and van to take them to appointments. The staff was very helpful.
