My mother stayed at Brookdale San Ramon. Everything was fine. I didn't ever have any problems with anything there. Everything looked clean. The staff that I always dealt with was very, very nice and caring. They offer games and a gym where people could go and do a class if they wanted to, or there's equipment in there. There were television shows going on. They also had musicians come in and do shows for the residents. There was a lot of activity there that I saw. My mother had meals there every day, but I never had any complaints at all from her about the food. The staff, especially the nursing staff, was wonderful with her. She had her meals there every day and they served three meals a day. The facility was well kept.

Brookdale San Ramon was a beautiful facility but it was the most expensive. The rents were higher and then once you added the care and everything, it wasn't affordable. The facility was great. The tour person was fabulous. You saw people smiling, you saw interaction, and you saw people working. It was just a good environment. The room that Mom was looking at was the smallest room available.

Brookdale San Ramon was excellent. The staff was very helpful, very willing to answer questions, and seemed eager to help me come by. I only saw one apartment, but they looked neat, clean, and well-appointed. They gave me a pie and it was good. They had a dining room and an outdoor patio. The grounds were nice and walkable. It could accommodate wheelchairs, apparently, and all that. They had a lot of windows and I think the area itself is pretty pleasant in its weather. So, the experience was nice on that level. I think they did a really good job. It's certainly pleasant and it seems like it has a good amenities.

I normally do not write reviews but I had to share my experience with Brookdale san Ramon. I have been care giver for 47 years for my own son. He was born disabled due to my health condition during pregnancy. One time I visited my dear friend who is been living at brookdale san ramon. She gave me sales manager number and when I called for help she offered me tour and visit to my home to meet my son. I have seen 7 other places but no one ever offered to meet my son. She came with a nurse and they understand what i needed is break. Next day Mj called and informed that they are unable to help me with my son because they wanted to make sure he is been taken care. According to her he needed more attention that we can offer. and yes it was disappointment and i felt back to square one but she said that I will find a place for your son where he accepted and care for. She stayed in touch and gave me couple places to visit. She came along and found a great place. I would choose this place for myself when i retire from my duties. Beautiful surrounding but most importantly people those who work at brookdale san ramon. Thank you MJ

I toured Brookdale San Ramon and the tour experience was fine. My brother liked it. He liked that they got their room instead of having to share a room. They have their privacy within the room. They don't have to share and that was the key takeaway from that whole place. You get your room and your TV, your bathroom. They have all the activities. They have socializing, art classes, dancing classes, and Zumba. They have a calendar posted in the main lobby so you can see what you would like to join. They take you to your appointments but I think there might be an extra charge. I don't know how that works. The staff was very friendly.

I toured Brookdale San Ramon, and what I liked the best is that my mom can be surrounded by other people and doesn't have to be alone. The rooms were beautiful. The one I looked at was the one-bedroom, and the bedroom itself has plenty of room for a queen-sized bed. It also had a view. It was real nice. Any questions that I had, the staff answered them. The staff was busy because they were moving and keeping things in order, but the staff was very friendly. I know my mom would love to play bingo, and they have that. They also have movie night and other game shows that they play. They also have exercise in the morning, that just keeps a person looking and feeling younger, and I know my mother would love that. I've seen the food, and I looked at the menu, and it looked good.

I live in neighborhood so I did not made any appointments and did walk-in tour. Sales director was so pleasant and attentive. She offered beverages and ask if we chat and see how she can help. She gave me tour and answered all of my questions. I have seen 7-8 places but no one has provided that much education and resources to help me when they couldn't. I liked their one bedroom and she booked nurse visit to see my dad. She personally visited my dad to meet with him. I was very excited to move him to Brookdale San Ramon but due to his high care needs they couldn't except him. MJ called and explained the reasons why they couldn't accept my dad. I liked her honesty and most importantly she connected me to another place where they could accept my dad She continue to follow up and asked if there is anything she can do to help. I truly appreciate her help and I can imagine how much people at this place enjoy working and living. I would recommend this place to families for their mom and dad. Give them a call. Thank you, MJ.

My brother moved into Brookdale San Ramon. The place is bright and cheerful. His room is a little bit larger than I thought it was going to be. It is well-lit with nice windows, clean, and comfortable. Their staff is very friendly and eager to engage. They are offering things like bingo, card games, and Scrabble games, and I saw a lot of puzzles in the process of being completed. One of the things that interested me is the regular exercise program 5 days a week at 10 AM.

I went to look at Brookdale San Ramon. The staff showed me three units, the cafeteria, and all the activities that you could do there. They have two people on staff in the afternoon, and one at night per six or eight people. My mother needs a Hoyer lift, but with the studio price and the Hoyer lift, there was no way we could afford it. I saw the menu, and every month they have something every day, but for one week they'll have three different items. So you've got a nice selection to pick what you want to eat. They had different floor plans. They were all studios. I saw that they had a stage when I was there. There was an actual band playing there, so they had entertainment for that. They had a schedule of all the things that they did each day. They have stairs, and it's a little complicated.

I liked everything about Brookdale San Ramon. I liked the rooms, the way they set up meals three times a day, and the arrangements on how to keep the place clean. They provide therapy, they would take care of your linens, and do your washing of clothes. They also have a courtyard that you can walk. They were very professional. It's all around a good place for me.

My mother has moved into Brookdale San Ramon. I really like the people that I've seen. I felt like the pricing was fair. It is clean. The people are nice. They reached out and seemed very caring, and were very welcoming. My mother says the food has been OK. They've got a very nice layout. There are daily meals, laundry services once a week, light housekeeping once a week, and activities for the seniors. There are quite a few things.

I do not write reviews but I was requested one by Sales director at Brookdale san Ramon. I received a phone call from MJ. She sounded very genuine and showed that she cared . When I was searching initially I added Brookdale San Ramon to my list but after reading bad reviews from past I decided not to continue. After several phone calls, text and email from MJ We decided to take the tour with her. We expected nothing what we were amazed by this community . She answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. This community is small but wonderful amenities, great activity throughout the week to keep residents engage. She arranged lunch for me and my wife with other residents. Hats off to the kitchen staff that consistently provides good service with outstanding food. Location is amazing with views of the beautiful hills sunset. We met activity person and nurse they both were very welcoming. Room was decent size with comparable price. Mj worked with us to find perfect room with reasonable cost. Our mom is been at this community for past 14 months and she loves it. I would recommend this community to anyone who is looking for home that truly cares.

We toured Brookdale San Ramon. We felt a little bit more welcomed there. It feels like they wanted to go above and beyond to make sure my dad would be comfortable. They don't have memory care and that's why if he were to be diagnosed with dementia (which he might be), they wouldn't be able to help him. It is sad because that would be our choice and we loved it. It was as comfortable as the other facility, but there was a difference in the way we were welcomed. Just the vibe of the place was very welcoming, and the nurse wanted Dad to be there. She wanted to accommodate him and work with his doctor to see if he would be a good fit. She was a bit more hands-on with that, and so they scheduled an appointment to assess him very quickly. There were lots of activities. Like when we got there, they handed us the calendar and they were like, "This is what we have." It was like they took a lot of pride in it, and I appreciated that. We didn't try the food but on our way out, they gave us some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies as a thank you for our tour.

My mother will be moving into Brookdale San Ramon. I like that it's convenient and is close. I like that it has a hillside in the background. It has a lot of greenery with the courtyard and the outside. When I visited, the residents and the staff were friendly. Ultimately though, it ended up being that they gave us a very good deal. It is why we ended up choosing faster, rather than spending more time looking. It was a good tour. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and cheerful. I did not try a meal, but they gave me cookies which were good. The place was bright and clean for the most part. It's not absolutely brand new. They get a fridge and a microwave in the studio. They have a main courtyard and two smaller sitting areas.

Our overall visit with Brookdale San Ramon was good. Everything was nice and clean. They're a much smaller facility than the others. We saw the lobby area, and the one-bedroom that they showed us was on the first floor with outside access to the courtyard, so we didn't have to go through the facility at all to look at the room. They were very nice and very understanding. When I called them to tell them that we had decided on the other place, they were very gracious. They couldn't have been nicer, and they said if we changed our mind they were there for us, or if there were any questions that we had just in general about senior communities, to give them a call.

I went to Brookdale San Ramon like three to four times just check things out. They have one-bedrooms or large studios. They're really nice. They have nice kitchens and regulation bathrooms, but that means they have no tubs. Usually the tubs are cut out and replaced with a toilet chair and walk-in showers. They have many activities. The food was really good and they offer two to three selections. If you want hamburgers and hotdogs or any kind of sandwich, they'll make it for you. They have a lot of independent living people, and they also have separate units. It's kind of impressive when you go there because the ceiling is really high. I went there around lunchtime. You can see people come and go, you get people around you doing stuff, everyone is nice to you, and they introduce you to people. They have people designated for you to talk to, like at lunchtime, meaning they put you in a group.

Brookdale San Ramon was very nice. We visited two different apartments and they were very nice. They were a little small, but not that much smaller than what my wife has now, and they had a patio. They had a nice menu that they put up every day. The person who gave me the tour was a four out of five, and the nurse I met was a five out of five.

I am loving my home. We are called a family and the staff works hard to make us feel like one. I have some medical issues and feel very safe here. Our caregivers are well trained to help us with our health. Managers are outstanding!

Residents, guests and staff help each other whenever they see a need, whether it is to cut meat or hold an arm to help a person get up.

Brookdale San Ramon was very good and I had no problems with it or the management. It was just too expensive for me. The location was good, and not too far from where my son lives. The grounds are fine. They were very nice and the place had all the things you could want.

The staff at Brookdale San Ramon was very nice and very informative. They knew what they were talking about. The facility was very clean. Everyone was nice and helpful. The apartments were a very good size with a lot of room to maneuver a wheelchair , very clean, very well lit, and had lots of windows. The residents looked very happy and very well taken care of.

The rooms at Brookdale San Ramo were larger than expected; it had a refrigerator and a kitchen. The dining room didn’t seem to have a good variety. They had some games, they had tables where you could play cards, or there is a computer you could use.

Brookdale San Ramon is a very nice-looking structure on the outside. It's rather small, and there are only 81 rooms, so it's one of the smallest ones in the entire area. It's very well-kept inside, and they seemed to have a pleasant staff from the few that I met on my visit. I had a walk-through of two different apartments to get an idea because I really wanted a one-bedroom, not a studio. They were kind enough to show me a one-bedroom, and it met my requirements. It had a full-sized refrigerator and a full-sized stove, so I can do my own cooking if I prefer, but they do offer three meals a day. They have a small library, an activity room, and a small fitness area.

Brookdale San Ramon looked nice and effective for people who want to use it. It was not brand new, but it looked very well maintained. The cafeteria looked really nice, too; the use of white table cloths make it feel like you're in a restaurant setting. It was very clean. I saw a room with someone living in it and an empty room, and both looked really nice.

Brookdale San Ramon is a good facility. I like the location, the staff, and how nicely kept it is inside. When I went there, it seemed like they were doing an exercise class.

Brookdale is a real nice and beautiful place. When we went there on a Saturday, they were having milkshakes. It was a bit pricey but very nice. The staff was very nice. The dining room was very nice and clean. I did look at the menu, it was really great, and the dining facility stays open until 11:00 pm. It was not far from where I live, so it was number one on my list. They have a ton of activities. The place is very secure.

Brookdale San Ramon was in a very nice area, and if you could have an apartment at the back of the building, you would look out over the hills, and it was lovely. Actually, it was the best place I had seen. They had three meals a day. They had a very nice dining area. They had a rec room and an area where they play bingo, bridge, and whatever you wanted. They had a library, wifi, and computer hook ups. Whenever someone left an apartment, they would go in, put in a new carpet, and repaint the walls. They offered a certain day of the week that they would take you around to the different clinics or hospitals wherever you were hooked up; they would take you and would pick you up. They offered shopping trips and things like that to shopping center and to grocery stores. They do had a lot of services. They had independent living, assisted living, and supervised living. The manager there or the person you talked about apartments and things was extremely knowledgeable. She was very nice. I visited there twice, and each time she was extremely nice, remembered my name, remembered who I was and a lot of things about me that I told her the first time. I thought it was a very good experience.

I visited Brookdale in San Ramon. I thought it was nice. It is an older building, but its inside is nice. I don't really know about the staff since I only talked with two people, and they seemed pleasant enough. I thought the studio that I saw was fairly small. It was dark, but that was the only room available. I didn't really see any of the others so I don't know whether if it was just that particular room. It was pleasant enough, and it looked clean. I didn't observe any activities, but they had a TV down there and it looked like it was setup for games. Nothing really impressed me with the facility.

I was very pleased with this community. They were quite friendly, and the situation at this facility seemed like it could be a good one. One thing that I liked the most is the meals are available all day long. You donÕt have to eat at a certain time. The rooms were quite spacious compared it to other facilities. Their dining room is quite nice. The residents look happy living there.
