My father is in Harbor Terrace Retirement Community. I can't say enough good things about them. They're fantastic. They're really good and very kind people. Not just the people that work there, but the residents are very kind. The people I talked to were very friendly and they have a lot of activities there and they seem to be very social. I like that. It's a nice environment. There is an activity room, where they do exercises and watch movies. They even have live music once a week. They have a nice dining hall. They have a room that looks like a cafe where they can have coffee all the time. They have decaf and regular coffee. In the lobby area, there's a piano and a little social room, that's in the same space as the lobby. Most of the time you go there in the daytime, some residents are just hanging out and talking and just enjoying each other's company. It's a little pricey for me, but it's worth it. I like everything that they've done so far.

I went to Harbor Terrace Retirement Community. They have three meals a day. They're like little apartments with a kitchenette. My parents liked it, but it's too expensive. It's like almost $5000 for them both to live there. I like that they make sure they took their medicines and that they took them right. They have three meals a day. The staff was friendly, and I liked them. Everything was clean, and they had lots of resources.

I visited the property looking for a place for my dad. Property is sparkling clean and I loved the entrance covered in a variety of plants and with a beautiful fountain. Staff greeted me right away, was friendly and warm. The lobby was very clean and smelled great- I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly birds in the lobby! Danee did a fantastic job showing me the property- I noticed how clean and organized everything was (elegant, warm and bright). She is very easy to talk to, informative and answered all my questions. It feels really good to visit a place where the staff has been there for so long and truly care for their residents (in some cases more than 20 and 30 years!). Overall, I really enjoyed visiting the property, talking to the staff and one of the residents (Vivian). They gave me cookies on my way out and they were delicious! I think this would be a wonderful place for my dad!

Harbor Terrace helped relieve the stress and anxiety that goes along with having to put a loved one in assisted living. The environment and hospitality made it easy for my mom to transition into her new living situation. The facility is warm, inviting with always something fun going on. Their staff is so caring and always willing to go above and beyond.

My mom has been there over a year. She loves the staff, the other residents, the activities, the proximity to her family and friends and her room!

My mother-in-law is a current resident at Harbor Terrace. She has lived there almost five years. She has dementia, but is still able to have her own apartment. The activities she participates in help her be social. There are many activities every day. She forgets when the activities are but is either reminded by the kind staff or other residents. Harbor Terrace helps her with some of her ADLs and her medication. The staff treats her and every other resident like family. I have observed many interactions among the residents and staff, and every single person is treated with respect and kindness. We feel very luck that we found such a wonderful place. It's always hard making a decision about taking a parent from their home after so many years, but sometimes we have to do that for their safety. We had to do that, and I truly believe her quality of life is much better now than it was at home because she is with people all day long.

Harbor Terrace was wonderful. It's where my mother-in-law wanted to be, but she couldn't go back to it because she needed more care. They have lots of activities, and the community is very active in doing different things. The food was also wonderful, and the staff was very good and friendly. They were very helpful in doing things for her.

I visited Harbor Terrace. The price was decent. The inside was very nice and nicer than the other ones I visited, but the price was more expensive. It was more upscale, but the area was not that nice. Inside the community and the rooms were very nice. The food menu was good. I was not really impressed with the lady that we met. She was very upbeat, and I'm a very down-to-earth person. The one thing I did not like was that you had to bring in your own furniture.

Harbor Terrace is more in my price range. It is a well kept, nice, and well-staffed facility. Everything was clean and nice, and it looked presentable. I did not look into the activities -- although they did have some -- but I wasn't interested in those. Security and safety was adequate. I can't think of anything critical to say.

Harbor Terrace seemed to be very well-kept, and the manager seemed to have some good ideas on how to help the people who are staying there. It’s clean and has a nice patio. They have a car that will take her to the doctor’s appointment a couple of times a month. The rooms are nice, clean but a little dated. She has other people she knows there who are happy, and my mom is happy there.
