My mom is now at Vista Harden Ranch. Our overall experience is very good. Her assisted living unit is very nice. She has a full kitchen without a stove. She loves the food there. It's very good. It's a very nice community. They take very good care of the facility. The staff is very nice and very helpful. For activities, they have card games, and movie nights and people come in and play music for them. They have a lot of different things. The community is not huge where there are so many people and it takes forever to get around it, but it's not small either. It's the perfect size for my mom.

We toured Vista Harden Ranch which I love, and may transfer my husband there. There's not a whole lot of difference in fee. I just got a much better feeling of a high overhead mounted shower. Vista Harden Ranch is very, very spacious, with high ceilings and long hallways to the rooms. It just had that feeling of openness. Sarah was wonderful. They have a spacious outdoors which he would have access to. The entire scope of the outdoor area is safe and he could not get out. He would have laundry services, barbershops, and manicure services. It was integrated with the general population which was much more warm and friendly. There were two kitchen areas. There was also a family slash meeting room, party room, or private room.

I toured Vista Harden Ranch. I liked that facility a lot. I liked that it had multiple unit sizes to choose from. I felt like it was very clean. Everything seemed fairly new and updated. Their staff was good. My only issue with these places is when you go to check in, the person wasn't quite there ready to greet me and kind of walk me through the process. I don't think the front desk people are super enthusiastic. It is a two-story, but they have an elevator, which is nice. It's really pretty. It kind of blew my mind when I first walked in. It was like being in a hotel. The dining area was nice and clean with a bunch of tables. I only got to see one room size, but they provided me with the floor plans of the others. They're nice sized rooms compared to the next one that I had seen. They're nice rooms. They have a few different courtyards that are nice to be able to access.

My mother is in Vista Harden Ranch. It's a smaller group, and a lot of the people that are there are very quiet and they don't talk. They don't seem to have much life in them and Mom's kind of full of life. I think it's more affordable than most places. What I like the least is the food. The staff is divided. There are some people that my mother really likes and other people that she doesn't trust. Some of them are great and some of them aren't. I think the cleanliness and structure is fine. They seem to have one older lady that does all the cleaning of the rooms for the whole place and she's exhausted. She doesn't clean up to my mother's standards. The room size is fine. I like the layout because the way it's laid out is you go in and then you're in the kitchen area, and then there's a door in the wall that goes to the bedroom. They have art, exercise class, and chair exercise. The atmosphere's fine. It's nice looking. The dining room is OK. It has gardens going through the whole thing with paths.

I didn't get a good feeling about Vista Harden Ranch. It's a little too far from my home in Monterey. It's about a half hour or 40 minutes away, so that made it a little bit difficult. They gave me a quick review of the place, and the tour guide gave me a little bit of information, but not a lot, as we were walking. The facility was clean. They just showed me an overview of the memory care area. The layout of the rooms was okay, but some of the rooms didn't have showers, which was odd. It had closets. They showed me the dining area, and it was okay. I think it wasn't too organized in the memory care area.

I visited Vista Harden Ranch twice. The facility was very nice and clean. The rooms were bigger than the others. I just didn't feel like they had enough staff. It was locked. In the memory care, there was a code to get in and out. I didn't see any activities either time I went. It was during their lunchtime. They had a calendar of events. The people were very friendly. I saw the dining facility, the common area, and the garden, where they can walk outside. It was a very nice looking facility. Had there been more staff, I would have put my dad there. It was a wonderful place. For memory care, I just felt like they needed more staff. The staff was very young. I didn't see anyone over their 20's, as far as the staff taking care of the people.

My mom has moved into Vista Harden Ranch. All of the staff members are very friendly, not only with the visitors but also with the patients. You can see how they act with them. They're just awesome. I think my mom's room is great. It's a single room with a private bath and a balcony that's shared with a couple of other people out there. It's very comfortable. It has a kitchenette. The common dining area is very nice and very clean. It has a very friendly atmosphere, more like a restaurant-style setting. They have a daily regular menu, but if somebody asked for something different, if they have it, they'll serve it. I think my mom has gained weight. We had a Christmas celebration meal; it was very good. The grounds, they're beautiful and they have a lot of open spaces where people can go walk. My mom doesn't go outside alone because she's she gets too confused to go outside alone, but she can go out on her balcony and walk around there. There are flowers and things out there. They have different activities. They have a yoga class and a stretching class. They also make jewelry and all kinds of stuff. They have a piano, and she plays it; she loves it. She plays almost every day after she eats. My mom has assisted living plus. I don't know what they call it, that she has some kind of care where they come by and help her with the shower and those kinds of things. They're very helpful and responsive to every need. She has one of those call button things that she wears. If anything happens, they call me immediately. She's just doing great, and I love it. The only activity that I've observed was the chair exercise. They did a great job, and they were very encouraging to the patients. When I walked by there they were doing other things, everybody seems like they were having a good time. All of the patients that are in there are very friendly also, they always say hello to me and all of that.

My mother-in-law will be moving into Vista Harden Ranch within the next couple of weeks. We chose it because of the location, friendliness, and cleanliness. They're very attentive to their residents and just very receptive and welcoming. We had a meal there and it's a good variety and the vegetables were fresh. There was no canned food at all. The staff was very attentive and you could pick from two different entrees. They had an excellent dessert. It was very delicious. The apartments were spacious and very accommodating for an older person, with good natural light and ventilation, and were all brand new. They were putting in new floors, a new kitchen, and new lighting. Everything she'll be moving into was new. It was very comfortable. They had a couple of areas where you could just sit and read. They had a patio area that was very nice in the sunshine, a lounge area that was very comfortable, and an area for games. The activities looked very comfortable. We didn't see the bingo game, but they were getting ready to do that. They had people doing jigsaw puzzles. One of the attractions for us was they have transportation and we would like our mother-in-law to be able to have the transportation to go shopping and go on field trips. We take her to the doctor, but they'll take her to her lab appointments.

Vista Harden Ranch looked like a very nice facility. The studio rooms were a little on the small side. There was a band that day. I toured the place, and it looked like they had a lot of good activities. They had a beauty salon, a library, and a common area. The staff who gave me the tour was very professional.

I met with the representative of Vista Harden Ranch. She was very nice and knowledgeable. The facility was very clean. It had a lot of areas for people to engage in. There were also a lot of activities. The environment outside was safe and enclosed, but also open so that people could be outside. They had nice landscaping. They were remodeling a lot of the rooms. It seemed like they were taking care to give each person staying there their own identity within the property, and I like that. I looked at a joint room. It had two open bedrooms with a shared kitchen and shared bathroom facilities. It was a nice setup. It was an additional option beyond someone just being in their own room. It was a good size. They were new, so they were really nice. I also looked at the individual rooms and those were set up very nicely. They had enough space for an individual to be in there but be able to get around confidently. They had options of course for bringing in meals. They also had small kitchenettes where people could prepare things on their own if they were able to. Everything was like easily accessible. They said that they could adapt the food and what-have-you to the individual, so I thought that was nice. They mentioned that food could be brought in to share with family members, which I thought was nice, too.

I went to look at Vista Harden Ranch. The facility and rooms were very small. It was a studio. The inside was clean, and the outside was OK. The staff was nice. They have like a little cafeteria, and it's small.

Vista Harden Ranch assisted living was very nice but very small and it didn't seem like it had as many activities going on as the other ones. The person who assisted us during the visit was excellent. She was very informative and very, very attentive. The room we saw was very, very clean and very nice. It had a good view of the hills and my friend was very impressed with it. It just was a much smaller unit as well as the whole facility and she was looking for something larger with more people. We didn't eat there, but we checked the menu out and the food description looked beautiful. The area was nice, clean, and updated.

I went to Vista Harden Ranch. It was extremely clean, very inviting, and the rooms were very nice. The yard was great for walking. They were doing a cooking class with the elderly. There wasn't anything wrong. It was a very nice facility. I would put her there, but they won't take her, because they don't have skilled nursing. So that was the only drawback, but I would in a heartbeat put her there. The pricing was great. There were stations of them playing with dolls and jewelry, activities for them to do on their own. They seemed to interact. They had several stations of different things for them to do if it's drawing or painting with supervision, and some were non-supervised. I was very pleased. The owner of the facility lives a very long distance away in a different county, and he was there with the living assistant people talking to them, playing cards with them, interacting with them. He was the owner of the facility and he was there. Very nice, gentleman. It was very clean, and they were constantly remodeling if needed.

Vista Harden Ranch was nice, and they had a shared balcony. The rooms were decent, and they seemed to provide everything that was necessary. My dad didn't want to be in a big town; he wanted to be in a smaller town. The staff who assisted us there was great. Their facilities aren't that memorable. I've seen a library, fitness room, a little reading room, and TV area.

It was excellent. The people were very helpful, and I really liked the atmosphere. You have to provide the furniture in the room. They have single rooms and activities like taking them for a ride and movie nights.

It looked very nice, that's why we're going back. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. Everything was clean in all areas. They have listed activities and the Visiting Nurses Association will come and do therapy too.

It was a great place. It was like a big family home with nice bedrooms and a nice dining room with a good menu compatible with your medical needs. It probably had the best meals among all the places I visited. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very nice.

It is very nice, and I really liked it. The rooms were joint, they were kind of big and nice, had a bathroom, and it was very clean. They had a calendar of activities for what they do every day. The girls were really nice there, and the people treated us really nicely.

It was a nice place. It had nice accommodation, and the staff was friendly. My mother liked it there when she went to see it. She is diagnosed with dementia, and they have care for dementia and Alzheimer's, so I thought it would be the perfect place for her, and it’s close to where she’s living. They were in a group having Activity Day the day I visited. I visited the lunch area and the dining area, and it was very entertaining. They always had arts and crafts there. It will really help my mother because she has dementia.

I found my mother a place here. It is a nice facility. She's in memory care, and it's kept very clean. She gets a lot of attention, and they keep a very good eye on all their memory care patients. The staff is very attentive and very good about keeping track of the residents, making sure they eat and get their medications. There are three meals a day. My mom is now eating regularly, and she's getting a lot of attention. Her mood seems to be much better.

It was very nice and clean. The people were very helpful and very professional. It seemed like the facilities were set up very well for the type of service my mom needed at that time. The rooms were of a good size, and the grounds were very nice, open, and airy. They showed me the calendar of activities and the areas where they do crafts.

It was OK, and my mother-in-law is there. I knew a couple of people there, so I felt comfortable. She got her own studio, but I think she needs to be on a lower level as she is on memory care, she is on a third level as she sits on there, and she is no longer in a wheelchair.

It is good. They are one of the best in town. My wife is in the dementia care. She can't walk and has to be helped to go anywhere. They have different functions going on and stuff. The rooms are nice. She doesn't use the dining room much because they have it served in her room. She gets served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the service is very good. They are doing well. In the other facility, there were three people in a room. Over here we have a separate room, and it is a lot better.

I was impressed. I wouldn't mind if my dad went in there only because there was our nationality there that was taking care of the place, so they can communicate with him very easily. The staff was very helpful and upbeat, very happy people over there. The rooms were very nice. They had activities and certain types of games; they stayed very physical with their patients to keep them vibrant, so I liked that, and my dad likes to walk.
