My husband had excellent care at Villa Natomas. He loved the care workers and said that they were very in tune with his needs. It was a beautiful place in Natomas, and they were very good about keeping him clean. They also were good at keeping to his schedule of when he needed to be cast. What we're used to eating, compared to what he got in a facility were two different things; the food was passable. It's a private home with six residents, so I was a little leery whether one care worker could take care of six residents. He said occasionally other people would come in and help. My husband said one day that a caregiver played dominoes with him and another resident too.

We choose Villa Natomas for my mom because it is close to my home and the love and concern of the caregivers. The staff is very compassionate and very kind. The rooms are very nice. The size is nice, and the decor is lovely. They have activities. They have day trips, and they do several other things. I like the atmosphere, and I really like the caregivers. They are just genuinely loving. They have a lovely backyard that's like a garden or like park. It is open and spacious. I am really impressed. I had lunch there, and it was good.

We were referred to Villa Natomas by the El Dorado County Senior Services support organization. We are very pleased with the place; very nice people and a very lovely facility. They take good care of the residents, and they have a lot of experience, so it is very stable. Their current caregivers have been there for the last 12 years. We just like the people. I have not eaten there, but I have been there several times when meals were served and it looked fine. My mother-in-law seems happy with the food, and she's pretty picky. I have no complaints. They have a well-balanced meal. They avoid salts, fats, processed foods, and so forth. There is not too much in the way of coordinated group activities with the residents because there are only five, so mostly the activities are to get them up and moving around and outside to go for a little walk or be active in that way.
