The staff at the Waterleaf were such a blessing to our mom and family. We needed a place to move Mom during the peak of Covid 4 years ago. The staff was welcoming and set up Mom's room with family framed photos we provided. They allowed visits even then through screened windows and always protected the staff, residents, and families with safety first any time there were health concerns. They are so thoughtful and caring towards all residents. They do little things like rub their arms and hands and paint their nails occasionally without being asked or compensated for it. They have lots of entertainment which our mother really enjoyed. Even when we needed to begin the hospice process as Mom was beginning to fail, they were all so caring and respectful towards Mom and our entire family. Mom's final 4 years and all of our family's too, were better because of this very caring place. This place is always clean and cheery. They celebrate each season and holiday with decorations. We are very thankful for the staff who run this place so well.

I like that The WaterLeaf at Land Park is a small place. My mom is there. They have a beautiful garden, but the biggest factor for choosing them was it's close to our house. The price was also reasonable, and the bedrooms feel so homey. It doesn't feel like a nursing home or anything like that. The rooms feel like actual bedrooms. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. They have a calendar of activities and things, but I haven't observed any of them yet, since she's only been there a week.

Water Leaf was very good in helping me to just understand the difference between independent living and assisted living. They recognized that our grandfather was not ready for that, but they provided a lot of information to help us understand what his needs are this time. The rooms were good, and it seems that the residents were well-taken care of.

My mother has been a resident in this facility for the last four years. Over time, she has required more and more support from the staff. We sincerely appreciate the care and attentiveness that the staff and owners have provided. We appreciate the flexibility that a small, family owned facility can provide. We recommend this facility without reservations.

My mother has been a resident for over 5 years. She has medical issues that are significant and suffers a lot from arthritis pain. The management and staff at Waterleaf have always provided friendly, compassionate and professional care for her. I recommend their services wholeheartedly to anybody who needs care.

I would like to thank everyone at Waterleaf for the wonderful care you gave my mom. All the staff - office employees and care employees had always put my mom's care and comfort first and my family and I are most appreciative. I know my mom was stubborn and sometimes not easy to get along with but everyone was always courteous and professional with my mom. I always knew my mom was being well taken care of and I am grateful for the compassion and good sense of humor the staff maintained. Everyone at Waterleaf works hard and does a great job. I would like to acknowledge one employee that stood out every time I visited. That person is Porsha. Waterleaf is very lucky to have an employee that works so hard and cares so much for all the people residing at Waterleaf. It was always nice to see her and she always has an eye on everyone. She is a gem. She goes that extra step to make sure residents are safe and happy. I know my Mom was not always nice but Porsha always maintained a good sense of humor and always handled matters in a very professional manner. I sincerely hope management appreciates Porsha as much as I do and sees the value she brings to Waterleaf! Again, thank you to everyone at Waterleaf and I wish you all happiness and peace.

A very heartfelt thanks to you for all the loving care and kindness you gave to my wonderful mom during the last year and half of her life. My family and I are so grateful to have found you! Mom always said everyone there was so kind and helpful. You are doing wonderful work and I have enjoyed getting acquainted with all of you. You are appreciated so much. I will stop by and say "hello" when I am in town. ?

I am very happy with Waterleaf, and they’re taking good care of my mom. I looked at quite a few other places, but Waterleaf was recommended to me by others who have had relatives there, and it’s within walking distance from my house. The facility has made improvements over the last six months in different areas. It is a well-maintained facility. She shares a room with one other person. My mom always comments on how good the food is, and I’ve seen the food served. It looks very well-prepared and appetizing. They have a monthly calendar of activities, and each day they’ve identified the activities that are planned, and I would say there are three to five activities a day. They all seem to be very caring individuals, and they keep me abreast of my mom’s situation.
