My mother is in Greenhaven Estates. She's in memory care level one. It's pretty clean. The facility is not super modern, but they're doing some renovations right now. The rooms are clean. The caregivers are very patient and caring. They take care of the patients. They give them a lot of attention. I feel like my mom is safe there. I show up to visit once or twice a week, and I never tell them when I'm coming and I've never had any surprises. They play games, they have movies, and they have puzzles that they do. They have activities pretty much every day and I think they do trips as well. The dining area is pretty spacious. The food is all low sodium and low sugar. It's pretty healthy and pretty balanced. It may not be the best tasting, and my mother is from the South, so she's used to highly seasoned food. It's better for her, but maybe not her favorite. I've looked at some other places in a similar area that were far more expensive and didn't offer nearly as much and they weren't clean and I didn't get a good feeling from them at all. Whenever there's an issue, they call me and let me know right away. I'm kept in the loop.

Greenhaven Estates Assisted Living and Memory Care is very cordial. The staff is friendly and attentive. My dad loves the food and the fact that he's able to choose from a few different selections. He has a small apartment that has a living room area, a bedroom, a patio, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. The facilities are very clean and very well kept. They have a beauty salon/barbershop on the premises and a calendar of different activities throughout the month. He's very happy there, so it's worth what it costs.

We will be moving my mom into Greenhaven Estates Assisted Living and Memory Care. We chose it because of its location. Family members are close by in the community. The people were very professional and friendly, and the place was clean. I thought it was a smaller community for her to be able to adjust well to. They have a companion room, private, studios, and large rooms. She will be in the memory care section, and she will be in a companion suite. They have the assisted living which has one bedroom and two bedrooms. They have a courtyard, chair activities, and chair exercise for them. They have a nice outside courtyard, games, and a staff to carry on the different activities for them to do during the day. That is all inside the premises. For visitation, they take your temperature. You have to wear a mask. You have to fill out a Covid-19 form also, but then you can go inside. You have to sanitize your hands as well. Now that people are getting their vaccine, they are opening it up a little bit more; but, it is a controlled environment. The few people that we came in contact with seem to be happy there. I had lunch and the food was very good. It was hot, flavorful, and not overly seasoned. I do not think a lot of the seniors need to have a lot of seasoning in their food. It was very tasty, and I enjoyed it. I thought the layout of the building was very conducive to older people. The facility itself is over 60 years old, and they have plans for some updates. The facility needed some updates, but it looked like they have plans in the works of doing that.

I went to Greenhaven Estates. It was warm, nice, and pleasant. The rooms were nice. I liked it. The person who assisted me was very knowledgeable and very nice. I liked them right away. They had a nice 1950s diner-looking place. It was pretty cool. They have a lot of activities that they tailored for each person from what I saw. They have groups and crafts; I liked it.

This place is nice. Greenhaven Estates has two floors, but it didn't have a room in the bottom floor available. When my mother looked at it, she didn't like the second floor. From what I can tell, the staff was very kind and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent. It was very good. The rooms they have are of a good size. There is a front room and a bedroom. The location of the place attracted us the most. We were looking for something close to my sister's house. This facility is very close. I would recommend this facility to others. To me, everything looked good.

This facility is 100% assisted living (no independent living option.) Because of this, their staffing is much better than many mixed facilities. They have an attached memory care unit and work to keep the memory care residents integrated into the community. They also have a hospice waiver. Staff is caring, concerned and engaged. My mom is there and I recommend it.
