Country Club Manor is really good. My brother got his own room. The staff makes me feel very comfortable every time I come. They remember who I am and who I'm there to see. They take really good care of him. He's really happy there. One of the first things I noticed when I walked in there was that it didn't smell. To me, that is important, because that tells me that the staff is on top of cleaning everybody and disposing of everything that needs to be disposed. There's a backyard area that each room goes into or each room can see. So, they can go outside if they want, but they don't leave. It's all fenced-in by the apartments and I thought that was very nice. I haven't tried the food yet, but my mom ate some of it and she thought it was really good.

We toured Country Club Manor. It was nice. Holly was very gracious. We liked the presentation. We liked the apartment. We liked the whole concept of everything. We hadn't thought about a complete package where meals were included, recreation, and stuff. We just really like the overall setting. It was clean. Even the dining room was clean and very attractive, very appealing for the tenants.

Our tour at Country Club Manor was good and very informative. I got to see everything. It was nice. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They had TV rooms. The rooms were nice. The bathrooms were nice and had all the grab bars and things for safety. They had outside spaces for them to be in and it was shady and sunny. Some of the rooms had patios that went out into the area outside, so that was comforting. The only one I met was Holly, the director, and she was very helpful and very knowledgeable, even though she had just started there. It was very clean and very neat. There were wide hallways for wheelchairs or whatever people might need. It's just good.

I went to Country Club Manor. The tour was very nice. They have activities going on there. It's not like a home; it's commercial. The only thing I didn't like is that it's big. It's a little depressing, too, because it was so large and dark. The staff who gave the tour, her name was Eliza, and she was very friendly and very nice. It's an older place, it's very large and there's a lot of hallways to walk down. Their hallways are dark because they have rooms on each side with doors closed, and for an elder person, it's too much walking to get to the cafeteria or get to the craft room or whatever. The dining area was quite large because they had so many people there, but I didn't try the food or anything. They had outdoor spaces. They had patios that people could go to because some elderly people were smoking when I went out there. The outdoor spaces were very nice. I saw the rooms where they have different activities and things, but I didn't see anybody in there.

Mom spends respite care for eight weeks at a time. Her private room with private bath is bright, cheerful, and clean; her sliding glass door opens to a beautiful courtyard with gazebo and gardens full of roses. All caregivers, office staff, attendants, and maintenance staff, treat Mom with respect and are always excited to hear when she will return. The medical technicians ensure Mom receives prescriptions on time and provide medication packets when Mom leaves the residence for family outings. Each time Mom spends time here, she makes new friends and is encouraged to participate in community activities. This is very important as Mom, almost 97 years old, would prefer to just sit in her room. However, Mom does not get a chance as her new friends gets her engaged with activities including escorting her to the dining room for meals. I have full confidence in Mom's care and safety during her stays at Country Club Manor!

I visited the Country Club Manor in December as possible place to live. Although the facility appeared to be several decades old, it was well maintained, and I did not see any obvious signs of neglect or deferred maintenance. Also, the interior common area appeared to clean and well kept, and I did not observe any signs of staining, bad-odors, or other signs which might indicate bad house keeping. The unit I was shown was under going a remodel during my visit, and although things were somewhat in a state of disarray, I could see that the quality of the work being done was up to industry standards. My only negative impressions came from the confusion regarding meals provided to residents. When I called on the phone, I was told that my monthly rent would allow me to eat three meals a day in the cafeteria. However, the agent I spoke to in person said that I would only be allowed to eat twice a day in the cafeteria. This could be a major issue for someone on a fixed budget, such as myself. Also, I the surrounding neighborhood seemed to be a little bit dicey, yet there didn't seem to be any on site security, and there seemed to be very little in the way of access control to the residential area. I finally opted not to move in, because the monthly price was just a bit out of my budget.

The staff members I met at the Country Club Manor were all friendly. The apartments were relative in size, but they could use some remodeling. They had pretty old carpeting. The counters, the stove, and the appliances were kind of aged compared to others ones that are newer. The independent living property was smaller, so there's just limited amenities, but they were doing their best when it comes to its cleanliness.

Tried to place my mother here. Front desk staff had no idea how the admittance process worked. Never called back when they said they would. When I finally was able to reach the administrator, she was also unhelpful. They strung the process along for a month before I found somewhere else. Horrible communication skills. The building is on the old side. At the end of the month, I found out from staff there that the facility is being sold to new ownership. Hopefully they do better.

We put my mother in Country Club Manor. It's excellent. She likes it. They have all kinds of things they engage them in: games, entertainment, bingo, and parties. It's extremely clean and well kept. There is lots of attention toward the residents.

I visited Country Club Manor. It had a very relaxed atmosphere. I liked the attitude of the employees and talked to a lot of people living there and the staff members. They were not overly invasive and had a lot to keep the people there busy, from trips to theater nights. The staff was very open and very friendly. I talked to more than just the management, but also to the people showing me around. They enjoyed what they were doing. I asked them about their training, and they were very well trained. It was surprisingly good. They had more training than what I expected. They had a library, conference room, dining room, a music room, a theater, and laundry service or you could do your own laundry, plus weekly in-room cleaning.

Country Club Manor didn’t have an outside environment, but the inside felt extremely happy. It isn’t a newer facility, although they upgrade as people move in and out. It had a fun, relaxed, homey feel, which I liked. The room was reasonably sized.

I had looked at Country Club Manor before, and it looked like a very caring and clean place; not elegant, but nice. The staff is being professional and helpful. My aunt is sharing an apartment with her best friend, and it has a bedroom and a living room. I have eaten there, it is very good, and they are happy with it.

We were attracted to the depth of care and the cost at Country Club Manor. My mother-in-law moved there. The staff were very kind and very involved. They constantly kept us updated and informed of her condition and how she was adjusting.
