This place is awesome, clean, lively and the staff are amazing and go out of their way to help. The only reservation I have is that I would really like to see a more varied diabetic menu for meals that are as appetizing as the regular food (which is delicious, by the way). I really recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for one. I checked out several places for my aunt, and this one beat the others by price, willingness to help, cleanliness, residents out socializing, space and overall welcoming to my Aunt and My family.

As a resident since June 2022 & currently serving as the acting President of the Resident's Council...I feel I have an objective opinion to offer this review...The facility is under-staffed & therfore can not provide the necessary care to ALL Residents..the food is monitored by a licensed dietician & has it's challenges to please everyone...I hear mostly the worst because I'm the sounding board between management & the residents...the management has made efforts recently to improve situations..Debra..(The administrator) is determined to make the quality of life better!! I suggest IF your looking for a facility for a love one to schedule a tour & ask to speak to current & longtime residents...bring your love one to observe for themselves! ASK all your questions for specific answers!...Bottom line is...There are much worse & much better facilties to choose from depending on your financial capabilties!

This place is ABSOLUTELY terrible. Most rooms are filled with cockroaches and bed bugs. Most of the staff has little to no training. Residents are constantly neglected and ignored. Residents medications are never given on time. DO NOT bring a loved one here, this is a terrible facility.

Attention. If you do not want your loved one on a continuous lock down do not placed them here. They are always short staffed and no one answer the phones. all residents have an emergency buttons it takes a care giver a half hour to an hour to to respond Covid 19 is more important because they can ignore the seniors and run the place on less staff .The employees should be on lock down because the staff will infect the seniors not the other way Unlock the seniors and let them enjoy their lives everyone should have a great life. Life is not a prison.

BE AWARE OF THIS FACILITY!! I would not have even given this place a one star. Our father was a resident at this horrible Place. Their director Gigi is awful. She has kept the residence here lockdown for months. Our father is on hospice was denied any visitors. We were not even able to see him through a window. When we notified the director that she was not following the state mandated guidlines she just told us she didnt care and that she could do whaterver she wanted. Can you imagine not being able to spend time with your dying loved one? on the day we went there to move him to a different facility we arrived to find him without his is needed oxygen. He had two portable oxygen tanks just sitting there and not one staff member helped him. We have had trouble even getting anyone to answer the phone in this place to find out how our father was doing. The place is not anywhere you want to place anyone you love.

I have friends who have been in this facility for over a year. If I had the money, I would move them out in a heartbeat. Pre Covid 19 this place was terrible, now it is worse. They are consistently short staffed, the residents are treated poorly, and the food is not fit to eat. Every meal is carb-ridden, poorly cooked, and very poor quality. They do not get baths or showers on a regular basis. They used to have cable, but the facility cut it out making their lockdown even more uncomfortable. During Covid, they are not properly social distancing. Often the caretakers and management are not wearing masks when they interact with the residents. Sometimes, it is ten or eleven o'clock before the residents get put to bed because they are so short-handed. This is not because of Covid--it was like that before hand as well. They have waited on the toilet after being seated on it for as long as 45 minutes before returning to help them. The residents have emergency buttons and callers to reach the caretakers, but they are often not answered. Sometimes they are left for hours without responding.

To anyone looking at this facility for a family member. DO NOT put your loved one under the care of these people. There are no cameras, locks, or alarms on any of the doors. My grandmother was found laying on the hot asphalt next to her wheel chair outside of the backdoor near the parking lot. She was left out there for over an hour, and her body is full of burns and bruises. When a caretaker finally found her, she had 107 degree fever, was unresponsive, and shaking. She was sent to the hospital and we immediately took her out of this facility. When speaking with the director, she acted like she had no idea of this horrific incident and then proceeded to decline a copy of the incident report. I highly recommend researching other facility options!!!

Be very carful. This place is advertised as assisted living but if your loved needs help immediately it’s not for them. It may take hours for help to come. Mistakes are made on medications so they must know what and how much they are taking. The food is ghastly. Most of the caregivers are mainly very young with little or no training. They are in and out of the room so fast you don’t have time to tell them what you need.

I wanted to move into Meridian of Riverside. It was beautiful, but expensive for the level of care my brother needed. The dining room was beautiful. It was like a resort and I was very impressed. They have activities going on and small groups of people doing a variety of things, which looked good. The staff was friendly and perfectly good.

The rooms are fresh and clean. Most of the staff are very caring individuals. There are game rooms tv rooms a nice dining room but best of all my best friend Callie a chihuahua mix can be with me in most of the facility. Other residents love her almost as much as I do. Rick Baptist is a great ambassador for Meridian of Riverside and I would pick it again if I had to.

Meridian of Riverside was very nice. I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it. It's a very nice facility with very nice people who I talked to. I would've loved to have sent my mom there, but we can't afford it. I saw the dining area, but we didn't try the food. They had very well-groomed gardens and transportation. I was very impressed. They had a lot of activities for the residents. The facility outside was exceptionally nice with the garden area. They were probably the most expensive. It's immaculate. Everyone we ran into who worked there was very courteous and seemed genuine.

Meridian of Riverside was lovely. They provide 3 meals a day, they take you to the store, and they clean your house. They have a beauty shop, a swimming pool, and a library. The rooms were very lovely, and the people were so nice. The residents can sit down and play cards. They have movies, a TV, and places to go.

The staff at Meridian was accommodating, I had no problem with them. My sister and brother in-law lived there. The rooms were small with a bath, refrigerator, microwave, and a little kitchen counter. You get what you pay for, and it was fine. They’re taken to the doctor, shopping, and they have various activities there. They seem to be quite content with the facility. We ate a meal there, and it was adequate.

The skilled nursing that my brother was in referred us to Meridian Senior Living. The staff was all really great and helpful, and they gave us lunch and tour of the place. I would like to live there. It was clean, and they were all very nice. The rooms were very lovely. One of the ladies was very nice; she let me go in to her room and see how it was setup. The facility was extremely clean and nice. My brother has a very limited diet, and they give him something to enjoy. The dining room was very nice, it was very accommodating for him having a wheelchair, and it seemed very clean too. The place is safe and secured.

Meridian is not a huge facility, but you walk in and it’s nice. It’s not 2-story, its single-story. The people there are very friendly. They have a big courtyard that’s like a big circle, and all of the apartments surround it. You don’t have a feeling of being close. They had a nice patio, a water fountain, and they had a big cage with birds. They have all kinds of activities that are posted. We were just very impressed with everything; we were very impressed with the staff. We talked to a lot of residents there, and they all seemed very happy. They were all dressed very nicely. It was just an overall good feeling. It’s not gloomy. They had children come in and read to the residents or the residents read to them. There are just a lot of activities going on. They have a bus that takes them to different places.

I was able to visit Meridian Senior Living, and it's a beautiful facility. They have constant music being played throughout the facility. It's also a secured place, but you don’t feel like you are in a hospital, and that was very important to me.

Meridian was nice. The staff was very good. There were Filipinos on their staff and they are very nice and helpful. However, it was an old hotel that had been remodeled and I wasn't too happy with the physical structure and architectural design. The physical set up was not very encouraging. I didn't like the receiving room and there were so many features that I didn't care about.

Meridian of Riverside has a professional, kind and caring staff. They did an outstanding job caring for my mother. Their care was adjusted to her evolving needs. They worked well with Chapman Hospice to provide excellent, coordinated care. Overall, both the staff and residents are genuinely happy. Residents are fully engaged in activities provided and the community. The decor is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. I would recommend Meridian to anyone seeking an assisted living setting.

My mom loves it there. The place is great! They were willing to work with my personal situation. The staff basically go above and beyond to meet my mom's need and our needs as family members. I would most definitely recommend the place! Mom is very fine and comfortable with her room. When you walk in there it has a homey atmosphere. What stands out the most is their staff. I really like the way they treat their residents there. They see to it that the residents are happy. If you have a request as a family member, they go out of their way to make sure your needs are met.
