I had to look at Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center before because my mom has dementia and she's slowly getting worse. I had already talked to them about her possibly coming to live there and they made it easy for us to have her there to do her recovery. She likes it there too because it's a good place. She moved there at the end of March and it has been awesome in every way. The rooms and everything there are beautiful. It's super clean and it looks like a hotel. The rooms are nice, they're airy with big windows, and they all have a nice view either of a patio or out to a garden. They also have big closets. My mom's in a room where she shares a bathroom with someone else but it's nice. Their food is great. I've been there several times while my mom's eating dinner, lunch, and breakfast. I haven't tasted it myself because my mom is on a chopped-up diet where they just chop the food up for her. I asked the people that were sitting at the table with her and they said the food is really good. They said it's nutritional, tasty and looks nice and appealing. They have an activities director, Timothy, and he is fantastic. Every day, they have what they call a morning meeting, which is great. They all get together and do things like exercises in their chairs. They have music and singalongs too. On Sundays, they have church service, which is really great. They follow the Montessori kind of structure where they have jobs and committees that people can be on. I don't know them all by heart, but they have different things that people can be involved in. It's memory care but they still give them something to do and they're really good about that. The staff is fantastic. They are angels. They're so attentive and they're very kind, very patient, and very thoughtful. They have a beauty salon where my mom gets her hair done and they have a beautiful patio where the residents sit outside. During the holidays, and every holiday that she's been there, they've had a special event. They involve everybody like the big Easter event they had, which is cute. They got my mom to help make Easter baskets and it was nice. They even invited all of the families to come. They take such good care of my mom. They paint her fingernails, and they make sure she's dressed nicely. Every day when I go to see her, they've gotten her dressed up nicely. She gets cold so they're very attentive and makes sure that she has her sweatshirt or a blanket around her shoulders. They do her hair and make her bed too. It's just nice.

I toured Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center. I like the interaction with the clients to the staff. The staff seemed very involved with everything they were doing. They had lots of activities. I liked that, and I was very impressed with that. The staff I met were all very friendly. They seemed like they were enjoying their job. The facility was very nice. It was very clean. It seemed like they had a lot of activities for the clients, and that I liked. They had a common room where they had a lot of things going on. It seemed like they had most of the people congregating in the community room watching TV and visiting each other, so I thought that was nice.

I went to look at Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center. They were very good, very friendly, and had a lot of excellent accommodations. But one reason I didn't go with them is that they were very expensive. The staff members were very friendly, very kind, and answered all my questions. I saw that the residents were eating breakfast while I was there, and it looked very good. The dining area looks like it would promote friendship with the clients. They all sat at a restaurant-style table. It looked very comfortable and accommodating. The rooms were nice and looked very accommodating.

Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center is the first one that I visited. Their whole facility is all memory care. It's a lovely facility, there's no issue with parking and it's not congested. They're just a top-notch memory care facility. The staff who walked me through the tour was a lovely woman. She was very attentive and very helpful. The facility is kind of almost out in a backfield of Redlands, but that also gives them room. So you're not dealing with a lot of traffic and congestion, and the facility is fairly new and everything is lovely. People share rooms, they're nicely set up and they're roomy. They've got a little bit bigger room than some of the other places. It's a beautiful facility.

My wife has lived at Blossom Grove since December, 2018 (after a change in management, for those who may read older negative reviews here). Placing a loved one in a "memory care" home is probably the hardest thing you'll ever have to do, and you will inevitably second guess whatever choice you make. But I *promise* you will not find a better, safer or more caring place than Blossom Grove, and that care extends beyond the residents, to their families too. I hate that my family has suffered this cruel fate, but I am so grateful to have had the people of Blossom Grove to help us through it.

Blossom Grove was very nice and could have been my second choice. However, it’s a much larger facility, it’s more expensive, and they only have shared rooms.

My husband is at Blossom Grove Alzheimer's Special Care Center. It is a brand new facility. It is very nice, very clean, and very, very expensive. I think it is better than anything else that is around right now. This place is clean, new, and well-staffed. Residents can't get out without going through locked doors, so it is a hundred percent secure.
