My mother was placed here after surgery. She was supposed to receive "Intense PT". in the 2 weeks that she has been there she has had 1 30 minute session. The second time the PT came he said "Well you went to the restroom, that is enough for today." My mom is not incontinent but was placed in diapers so that the staff wont have to help her to the restroom. On 7/24 I was visiting approximately 12:30 PM Mom rang 4 or 5 times to use the restroom. The nurse told her she was busy to go in her diaper. As a grown adult that is not incontinent it is humiliating to be told that. When I came back at 4:30PM Mom was still in the soiled diaper. She has a rash in her genital area. She is only being allowed to shower every 3 or 4 days, how would you like to have to sit in soiled diapers then only be allowed to shower every 3rd or 4th day.

This facility is terrible. My mother went there post-surgery. We were told she would receive intense therapy so that she could come home. They proceeded to put her in a diaper so they wouldn't have to help her to the restroom. She is not incontinent, just needs help. She has received little to no therapy, they only bathe the patients every 3 to 4 days. Their excuse is they are short staffed, they shouldn't be taking new patients if that's the case. My mother's bed is broken, and so is the TV.

my parent was a patient during a time period that covid spiked again and there was an almost month-long lockdown due to an outbreak. phones would rarely be answered to check on my loved one and communication was not great. when there, nurses and RT's would be in the hall laughing, or on their phones while I would HAVE TO ASK to get my parent cleaned up and her trach area suctioned. a couple of times, the rt would come in with earphones in and not even address my parent, just do his job, which I felt was rude. some nurses were kind and informative but others couldn't care less. do not recommend this facility to anyone. only positive thing I have to say about this facility is that they have an amazing wound nurse that was polite, informative, and would speak to my parent like a patient should be talked to.

I was a new tracheostomy patient also with a new PEG tube. The staff is highly professional and caring! Very friendly and devoted nurses, house keeping staff, great PT and OT, and a marvelous Respiratory Therapy team . I learned the essentials along with my caregivers of trach care and received wonderful treatment. The facility is very clean and attractive and is professionally led and run. I recommend it highly!

Asistencia Villa is very bright, open and clean. The people are very nice there and taking very good care of my mom, so far. They have everything. She has only been there for two weeks, but so far, so good. Everything seems to be going really well. Her room is very spacious and very nice, and they keep it clean and neat. They do a great job.

This place I would not recommend to anyone. My family member hadn't had a spung bath or shower in 7 days. Spoke with the social worker and nurses supervisior, still waiting on a shower. The paper work is being falsified to reflect she is showering. She needs total care and no one has fed her since being here but myself and another family member. No keep you family out of this place if needing total care . They won't receive it period the Insurance companies needs to be aware so does the State Of California .

Asistencia seemed crowded. The rooms were too small with three beds in many of them, so it was very tight. They had a lot of staff, and it was very clean. When alert lights came on, I noticed they were answered pretty quickly. I would have put my sister there, except they didn't have room. The staff didn't really want me wandering around. They didn't like the idea that I was asking questions; they would have preferred to talk to me with a social worker or just talk to the patients themselves.

Asistencia Villa was really nice, and they have a wonderful staff and great nursing. The minute anything is going on, they get to you straight away. They do help you after surgery; some patients stay, and some come and go. They were so much fun. The nurses would come in when I'm playing music and dance a little, and the residents go nuts with it. It just makes them happy. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean. It's a good place, and the food was wonderful.
