We have moved into Brookdale Mirage Inn. We like it very much. They've been very nice. I have to say that I like it a lot. They've all been very, very nice, extremely polite, and willing to help with anything. The apartment is really cute. No matter what you ask them, they will do it for you. They've been extremely nice, and most of the people here are very nice and pretty active. I like the food, and I think it's delicious, but my husband doesn't share that same opinion. I'm big on salad and fruit. I have to say I have enjoyed the meals, and they are delicious. He's a little fussier and he doesn't think it's that great, but he eats everything on his plate. The public rooms are all very nice and kept well lit. They seem to have a very active social life here. We haven't really participated yet for reasons of our own, but they have something going, they have bingo, they have exercise, and they have discussions, and the library is open all the time. We're very independent, my husband just happens to have an anxiety disorder, so it's time to move. If there's nothing wrong with you, this is still a nice place. I did it for him, and I'm enjoying it. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They come in and they change your linens, they do your laundry, they clean your apartment, and they'll do it with a smile. They really try very hard to remember your names. It's a well-trained staff. I have enjoyed the food. You can order anything you want with the menu. You don't have to take what they are serving. You can have breakfast all day, you can have a salad whenever you want, you can have sandwiches, hamburgers, or whatever. They try their utmost to satisfy whatever you want, and I see different people are eating different things all the time. It's very nice. They could keep up the fountain in the gardens a little bit more, but the rest of the place, they're cleaning it all the time. The public restrooms are immaculate, and I ought to know because I use it a lot.

I toured Brookdale Mirage Inn. The sales person that we had, Jennifer, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, very honest, and helpful. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. It's a very nice facility. It's very clean, well-maintained, and updated. Nothing worn out about it. They have a lot more services than most of the places that I have been to as far as helping with grooming and medication given (except for insulin). They have a lot of activities going on. They have a movie theater, a beauty shop, a gym, a pool, and a library.

Brookdale Mirage Inn was the gold standard. It's a very beautiful place. It looks like a grand hotel when you walk in. It's beautifully maintained and extremely clean. The rooms were very large and comfortable-looking. I saw both the assisted living and the memory care, and everyone was very professional. The dining area was also very nice. The tables were nicely set. When I was there, I believe they were eating a meal, so I saw people eating and staff interacting with the residents as they were serving.

The reasons why we chose Brookdale Mirage Inn for my parents is because it's clean, the staff is excellent, and the way it was structured. Some places we walked in and walked right back out because you could smell it wasn't clean and the staff wasn't attentive to some of the people that were already living there and stuff like that, so Brookdale checked all the boxes, they were really good. The rooms were very nice, clean, and well maintained. They have all kinds of activities. They have game rooms, they have arts, and they have exercise classes. They have a couple of libraries (one upstairs and one downstairs), they have live music every Friday night, they have happy hour every day, and they have a little theater in there to watch movies. They have all the nice different alcoves and spaces where you can sit and visit. Like if we all come and visit my parents, there's a place where we can sit and visit as a family, it's very nice. We've been in and out of there quite a few times getting stuff set up. The staff are very attentive, very pleasant, and help out the people all the time that are living there. It's wonderful. The food is very good. They have good choices. They have a monthly menu. Some places we went to, only had like an hour for breakfast, an hour for lunch, and an hour for dinner, but this place is like 7 to 7 you can get food and it's restaurant style. You just go and order it and they bring it to your table. We've had a few things over there and they're all excellent food. Everything was very well cared for and kept up.

We visited Brookdale Mirage Inn, and everything was great. The tour and the consultation were great. The facility was immaculate. I was very impressed with the staff. They were knowledgeable and they knew what was going on. They were able to give me a hard dollar number of figures. They also gave me other options. Brookdale by far was the best place that I went to. After I went there, I had all the information I needed to decide for my loved one. I highly recommend Brookdale. Just from the appearance, it's clean, neat, and there's no odor. The seniors seem happy, friendly, and couldn't wait to welcome me and my husband. We are a senior couple, and they thought that we were moving in, and they were welcoming, nice, and pleasant. It was a nice experience. I love the fact that they have a movie theater. They had an open bar for happy hour. It was nice to see other seniors gather together to go down and eat together. It was a nice community, completely different than the other place that we went to. If we did have to make a choice, this would probably be one of the ones that are on top of the list. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and caring. That's one of the best words to describe it; very helpful with lots of information. I didnt get to try the food, but I believe it was pretty good. When it was time to eat, there were a lot of people there eating. I have seen people taking stuff back to their rooms to have it later. They seemed very nice. They were talking and they were happy. It was always something going on there. They had a lot of activities, always something to each activity room. They had a movie theater, there were people watching movies. They had a bar, but it wasn't open; it wasn't happy hour yet. There were craft rooms, an exercise room, and a hair salon on the premises where they can get their hair and nails done. I just thought it was great, everything was right there. It made me think about my senior years, I was telling my husband, "Maybe this is not a bad option. Everything is right there. We don't have to clean; the laundry facility was there. They come and do your laundry. It was pretty nice."

I've chosen Brookdale Mirage Inn, and I'll be moving in probably after the Holidays. It has all of the amenities that I liked, plus the mix of residents was more compatible with my lifestyle. One of the things that I found to my liking is the fact that they do have all levels of care up to hospice. So, I don't have to worry about moving out if my condition deteriorates. The staff is very, very helpful and very informative. I was very, very impressed with the staff and the facility. I liked the building and the decor of the interior, it was warm and friendly. It didn't seem institutionalized, It had many interesting rooms set up for community use, which I found very pleasant. They had the card rooms, the craft rooms, and the entertainment area. They have a movie theater which is a large screen TV, but still, they do movies every day. They had a whole slew of amenities that were very nice. I looked at the menus, and they looked interesting. I liked that they can tailor the meals to any specific medical needs like I'm on a low-sodium diet, and they have that available which is a plus. They're high on the scale price-wise, but you get what you pay for.

My mom is in Brookdale Mirage Inn. Where she is, they provide assistance to her and it's an ala carte kind of thing; depending on what level of care she needs. She is comfortable and she knows the people. They have a call button which is electronic and she wears it like a watch around her wrist, so if she needs assistance, she can just push that button. They come quickly and they are very good with her because she needs a great deal of assistance. I can't say anything negative about them. They offer 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, so you have your own place. She is in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath which is way too big and way too expensive. Before my father passed away, they were both here and even then, it was really too big. Now, we're looking at a 1-bedroom-1-bathroom for her. They have a pool, a movie theater, and a putting green. They have a restaurant and they offer meals in your apartment as well if you can't get to the restaurant. They also have a computer and a library. A lot of the amenities aren't open right now because of Covid, but they have a craft room and they have exercise classes.

My husband is in Brookdale Mirage Inn. It's actually very good. It's a beautiful and very clean place. They're very open to talking to you if you don't like something or you want something changed. I'm pretty well content with them. There are things that always slip through the cracks no matter where you are. For instance, he'd get a haircut, but they wouldn't give him a shave or he'd get a shower but they wouldn't give him a shave. It's been pretty good so far, I'd give them a high rating. The staff members are very, very nice. They're very helpful and always trying to do whatever you want to get done. They really go out of their way. I haven't eaten there, but I've heard from my husband that the food is really good. The facility is the cleanest one I've ever seen. It's a very beautiful place. They have assisted living, too. I have never walked in there and seen anything that's not wiped off or not cleaned. Actually, I intended to move to Arizona and take him there, but the reason that I decided to let him stay in Brookdale Mirage Inn longer is because he is in a really good place. Being in the memory care unit with the COVID virus, you can't go in and out, so I haven't actually seen their activities, but my husband has really settled in there pretty good. You can go into the kitchen and get things like bottles of water and some food in between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a separate place from the rest where they can go sit and watch TV. They have an outside area with trees where people can walk around and sit out there. In general, I'm not there to be sure, but it seems to be very good. Every place is terribly expensive. For what they offer, it's a fair price, but that doesn't mean it's a low price, it's $6,500 a month. There are other places that are $7,000 and there's even some higher than that, but for what Brookdale Mirage Inn has, $6,500 is probably a good price. I would like to say though that I could not afford it if I didn't have long-term care for him.

My friend was a resident at this community and loved it. Rather upscale with pool, theater and even a cabaret. On cooler days he loved the 9 hole putting green.

I chose Brookdale Mirage Inn because the price was right. It was beautiful and still is. It has a majestic look. I've seen all Brookdales and this one is the best, without a doubt. It's a caring, close-knit group. My only complaint is the food is not so terrific. Sometimes it's wonderful, sometimes it's awful. It's not prepared well, but it's not bad food. We have a bus that takes us anywhere we want to go. It's not a bad life, in general. We have loads of activities here. There's lots for everybody if you're interested.

I know many of the people that work there at Brookdale Mirage Inn. My mother and father-in-law lived there. They were very happy there. The rooms were very nice. They had 2-bedroom, and it's very good. When my father-in-law had Alzheimer's, they had a facility in the back where they can go, which was where my father-in-law ended up. He lived 2 more years because we had a fabulous caregiver who made him walk and use his brain.

We moved our parents into Brookdale Mirage at 72750 Country Club, Rancho Mirage, CA and had nothing but trouble! The management and turnover of staff was horrific, but not nearly as bad as the high pressure tactics used to get our parents to commit. This was followed by 90 days of erroneous billings and a 30 day notice to "pay or quit" (all fees were paid in full-their accounting system is terrible). After 4 1/2 months we received notice for a 7.5% fee increase effective 1/1/17. Our father had a medical issue and the nurse was summoned to appraise the situation. Based on her assessment she promptly called 911. The matter was resolved in the apartment by EMT, yet management called my sister saying Dad was being transported to the hospital. (Just one example of mismanagement/communication) Our parents moved out on 5/13/17 after providing a 30 day written notice and paying the prorated fees for 05/01 - 05/13. They received numerous robo calls stating that their account was delinquent, with the last call coming the morning of their move. On 05/22/17 after settling into their new (lovely) community, my parents received a billing for rental fees for 05/14/17 - 05/31/17!!!! This company has grown too big too fast, buying up properties in anticipation of the Baby Boomers needing Senior Living. The corporate office is out of touch with local properties and uses strong armed tactics on Seniors! This is NO WAY to run a business and certainly no way to treat Senior Citizens. I cannot explain the stress Brookdale has put on our 87 year old mother! Mom has felt that she was required to pay each billing as it arrived, and would have without our intervention. We are concerned for those Seniors who do not have a support system to oversee these issues. I would not recommend a Brookdale property until their upper management is changed, or goes through some intense training and implements procedures that accurately bill residents.

The experience we had with our parents at Brookdale Mirage Inn was less than amiable . The marketing agent used the bait and switch game to entice our parents into signing an agreement with the community. We moved our parents in June, 2016. (No one from the community even welcomed us on that day.) My parents paid the agreed upon monthly fee. Corporate then sends three erroneous bills, which the local business office assures us would be corrected, only to then receive an "eviction" notice after two months! My parents have been married over 60 years and have not had even a late fee charged to them, now they are being threatened with eviction! Of course, they were not evicted and billing finally was corrected. However, after only six months of living there, they are hit with a 7% rent increase! There were several other incidents that occurred, and we finally moved them out of the community and into a locally run community, which is much nicer and significantly less expensive! However, we are still dealing with the inept business practices. After giving the proper 30 days notice, and paying the prorated portion of their monthly rent, corporate made two robo calls saying they have not paid their rent, then they received a final bill for the remaining portion of the monthly rent, when they moved out on the 13th! Even after contacting the local community, another robo call was made to remind them they had an unpaid balance due. I would never recommend this organization to anyone!

Brookdale Rancho Mirage looked very comfortable and nice. The rooms were a reasonable size, and the food was good. I have eaten there a few times. The service was good, and the people were friendly. The residents seemed pretty satisfied. They had built-in activities and transportation.

We visited Brookdale Mirage Inn. They were very kind and pleasant. They showed us a very nice room and different options. We didn’t eat there, but the dining room was nice. They also have little buses that take residents shopping and to doctors' visits. Everybody seemed happy, but you can't know what it’s really like until you're in there.

Brookdale Mirage Inn is good. It was my second choice of the four that I looked at. They had lovely facilities. They had a lot of flexibility in the floor plans. I did eat there, and it was very nice. Also the facility is across the street from a shopping center.

Brookdale Mirage Inn (formerly Emeritus at Rancho Mirage) is one of the top two places conducive to my parents. It does not have a skilled nursing facility right on their campus, but there is one right across the street that they work with. What I did remember the most about Mirage is that they have what they call Safari lounge, and they have a cocktail hour every day at 4 o'clock, which I think my father would very much enjoy. He likes to have his little cocktail. They also have a Men's Club and a theater, and they have therapy available and a nursing staff on call 24/7. They have a hair salon available for the women to get their hair done there, exercise facilities, and a swimming pool, and it has two-bedroom apartments, which is what would be more accommodating for my parents. It was very nice.

We went to Mirage Inn for a visit, and the place is absolutely gorgeous. It's like walking into a fine hotel. The rooms themselves are very nice. It's very open and cheerful. It's really good. The drawback is that they have few activities, and it took so longer for them to serve the food, but the food is very good.

We have been to the Mirage a couple of times. It was very nice, and some of the things we liked about it is that there were three meals a day or an open restaurant all day. The food was very good.

Mirage Inn was very nice, new, clean, and it didn't depress me. The people were friendly. They had nice grounds. They also had a nice swimming pool. They had an ice cream parlor, a theater and a beauty salon. They had some rooms that were nicely finished and optimistic looking. However, they advertised that they had meals without sugar and salt but the lady that I talked to had no clue.

Mom was supposed to move in to Mirage Inn. It was clean and it seemed a little more upscale, which my mom was used to. It was very well planned and seemed to anticipate all the needs that you might have. Both the people who lived and worked there were kind, helpful and friendly. The two gentlemen who showed us around were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked very hard. When my mom fell, one of the men was very attentive to me and my family in taking care of anything and she hadn't even moved in. He was that kind of a person and I was very impressed with him. The food was great. She would have had a two-bedroom apartment and it was very spacious, nice, clean and well kept up. However, she had an accident before thanksgiving and she passed away.

From what I saw at Mirage Inn, overall they're a fine facility. The staff was good too. However, this facility was a different option for us. It was a little too small and it wouldn't suit my mother's personality. Their clientele, activities and environment were too formal for her. There's nothing wrong with Mirage Inn because I think they do a good job, I just don't think my mother would have been as comfortable being there.

Mirage Inn was nice. The staff was very good and knowledgeable. They were more casual to people and not quite so formal. The rooms were average in size. But they looked a little bit run down and it would be better if they had nicer living areas. The food was good. They had nice parties for the people every so often like pool party.

What a beautiful facility with all of the creature comforts in place. They have a beautiful pool area; the dining hall is a bistro and a gorgeous library for the scholars to continue their quest of learning. The staff is exceptional and caters to their residents needs. The staff was friendly, warm and helpful. The residents were all smiles and seem to be enjoying life. They have a full calendar of events and activities. They offer religious services for both the Christian and Jewish community weekly and all faiths are welcome. The food looked amazing, many choices and the staff will work with any diet accommodation that is needed. There is a major Medical Center nearby and a Nurse on call 24/7 on site. The rooms and apartments are good size and beautifully decorated. The common areas are very clean and also beautifully decorated. This is a beautiful choice for your loved one if you're looking to relocate them.

I was highly impressed by Mirage Inn. Although it is actually located a bit outside of Palm Springs in Rancho Mirage, the short drive was worth it when you came up to the front of the building. It is in a quiet, peaceful, and serene setting - almost like a desert inn - and not anything like a "typical nursing home." The air quality was amazing and very dry - which was great for patients who had allergies to mold etc. as my client did. He had no complaints about the facility whatsoever - telling me that the "food was great" and that a lot of attention from staff was spent directly with him - which was a definite plus. He was part of a "custom care plan" that Right At Home provided for an extra fee to his family, which centered the focus around taking care of his specific medical condition. His diet, sleep schedule, and activities were all based around his specific medical needs - which I was very impressed by. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the DHS / Palm Springs / Rancho Mirage CA area.
