Brookdale North Euclid was nice and clean. The patients there seemed super happy. They were playing bingo when we walked in. It was beautiful. The staff was nice, patient with us, and explained everything.

Brookdale North Euclid is the only facility that is an actual senior living facility where I went. They have all the care, the nurses, and everything 24/7. It is a very good facility. I like what I saw. They have their cafeteria and their little movie place. They also have a place where residents can actually go and mingle outside. They even have a little barber and hair salon. It's a very, very, very good place. If I had the capability and maybe financially willing, I wouldn't hesitate to even go there because the staff was friendly. Everything was great. It gave me a good vibe when I even walked in there. Marcos was the one who gave the tour and he was very detailed. I was able to see their cafeteria, which was very nice and big.

I liked Brookdale North Euclid. I thought they were nice. I felt like the staff knew their residents because sometimes during the tour, the person was referring to them. I feel like they might need one or two more staff members, just because it seemed like a lot of the people were trying to do two or three jobs at the same time, which can be very stressful. They're very nice people though. The facility was older. I liked the rooms, especially the single room, but it was built more like a dorm, like if you were in a school. It needs a makeover.

They don't care for the elders. I visited a relative and he told me that they treat the people really bad there. I stayed to observe and visited a few times. I noticed that workers are on their phones and talking to each other. You see elders with crying and many with dirty diapers. It is very depressing. If you have family here. Visit them often and observe the workers. It is very depressing.

I loved Brookdale North Euclid the most because there were so many worker bees running around checking on patients. This one lady who worked there just kept coming up to my mom and saying, "I look forward to getting to know you so much when you come to live with us," and my mom saw her three times during the tour and every time the lady stopped by and said that. You saw somebody going by the rooms, giving out medications, looking on the computer, finding out, making sure they had the right medications and stuff. The staff was super friendly, and it felt like a family. There were people all over the place. The residents had their doors open, so you could just walk by and say hi. I got a really good vibe from that place. I got good vibes from all of the ones I visited, but that's the one that stands out the most. They have a lot of staff in the hallways, walking around, and everybody's super friendly. The food was good because we had lunch there. They were getting ready for happy hour, which was awesome. There were like 10 residents in the area where they were going to do happy hour. They did fall pictures, and then we ended up getting one with my mom, which was nice. They've got a great activities director. She was wonderful and full of great information. The staff during the tour was very compassionate, very concerned about our needs, and just overall a lovely woman. The rooms were decent. It's standard with a bathroom with no amenities, but there was room for you to put a small fridge, a little microwave, and a coffeemaker if you'd like. There's room for a bed, a couch, a TV, and a bookcase. The bathrooms were normal, weren't super big, or didn't have much storage, but they were usable. It was a good-sized room. It was doable.

My first impression of Brookdale North Euclid was it was very nice and clean. The staff was pretty helpful. The rooms were pretty interesting, kind of small, but doable. I wasn't able to sample the food, but they did tell me that they serve three meals a day and they showed me the dining facility, which was pretty roomy and clean. The staff during the tour was very informative, very helpful, and very patient.

I did a tour of Brookdale North Euclid, and I give it a five across the board. Everybody who gave the tour, everyone who talked to me, was super nice and informative. They had the most amenities, with movie nights, and just so many activities throughout the day. They have a library, and they have computer classes for the residents. They had a beautiful model room to show me. It was really nice, and everything was decorated pretty. They have bingo, exercises, podiatry, and transportation.

I wasn't happy with Brookdale North Euclid. They've been really short staffed because of COVID. I would call and try to talk to the executive director, the nurse's office, a medtech, and I would call and call and call and never get any callback. It was horrible. They told me they were short staffed and they could no longer take care of my dad. They left him literally laying in his own feces for long periods of time. They weren't doing what I was paying them to do, they just weren't. They won't answer calls from the loved ones. The housekeeping was terrible. You'd walk in my dad's room and it was all sticky on the floor. I'd call housekeeping and they would come up and say it's because he has urine on the floor, and I said, "No. He has a diaper on. He's spilling his orange juice, and then you're coming in and mopping it and smearing it all over the place." I had to tell them what the problem was. Literally, your shoes were sticking to the floor. They would come in with his laundry in bags. Here's my dad, bedridden and can't get up, and they come in with his laundry and just set it there in a bag. They did not undo it or put anything away, therefore he was running out of linens. They're changing his bed, but they were remaking it because all the linens were in these wrapped bags from the laundry. It was a nightmare towards the end. They came and dropped his food off, but they wouldn't even wake him up to eat. I'd come in and there was this plate covered with cellophane and my dad was asleep. They'd just come and whisk it away and bring the next one and just walk back out again. I couldn't believe it. I was appalled. I wish I had moved him sooner. I don't think he would have died as soon as he did if I had moved him sooner. He was on hospice. Hospice told me that we really need to move him to a memory care, and that's when I began my search and moved as quickly as I could, and I got him moved pretty fast, but apparently too late. My father was a resident there for a very long time. In the beginning it was great. He had a private room, it was nice, and he enjoyed it there. He didn't like not having his home -- no senior does like having to move out of their home -- but for the most part, he did love it there. He didn't like the food very much. I can't even tell how many executive directors we went through during those years, like I lost count. The turnover was just unbelievable. I didn't know who was who half the time because they were always new faces. The staff members were polite to me, but when you call and need to speak with the executive director and don't get a call back after leaving several messages, it gets a little tiring. Every now and then I might get through the medtech, but it would take several tries. At that point, my dad couldn't answer the phone anymore, so I didn't know how my dad was. I knew he was failing, and I needed an update, and it would takes me 20 to 25 minutes to get there.

The people who worked and lived at Brookdale North Euclid are exceptionally nice and friendly. The overall atmosphere is just very warm. My mom's room is nice and she loves the food. They have a lot of group activities too, from discussing menus to activities like brain or memory enhancement games and exercises every day. They also have a walking club, but because of the pandemic, it's a little bit limited. She has a balcony also in her room, but it's just been too warm to go outside very much. I think they need more shade outside.

Brookdale North Euclid was very welcoming. The staff that helped me with the tour was Michelle. She was very, very helpful. The room was very good and laid out very well. There was a library there that was busy. There were quite a few people in the library. They were just coming off of Covid, and I understand it was the first time that the library has been opened in a year. They were also getting ready to have a gardening session, and it looked there were some people that were interested. They were kind of lingering outside the patio area. I think everyone's eager to do anything. The place was clean, but it was outdated.

Brookdale North Euclid wasn't good, it was really hot, and the meal looked like prison food; it didn't look very nice. The rooms were really tiny and seemed dingy, old, dilapidated, and the rooms where they watch TV were really dark. The staff member was not very engaged. There is no way we're going to stay there, but the staff member was really nice, kind, and told us that we don't want to be there. She was very honest and admitted she was leaving soon. The dining room didn't look very inviting. They had people sitting around in chairs who seemed to be barely alive. It was scary, and it seemed very depressing.

My mother is in Brookdale North Euclid. The place is very nice. It's a lot nicer than a lot of the other facilities we visited. The staff seems very friendly and helpful, but they're understaffed. If they call help, it takes a little while. The kitchen is way understaffed. They should have another cook server and another server out in the main dining area so people can get their food quicker. The dining area is nice. They have a little menu where you've got five things to choose from, but there are three staples every day, and they change two at lunch and two at dinner. They should change it more often. It's a good sized community and they seem to have a lot of activities going on. I've seen a program they have and they have a recreation room with lots of seniors doing a lot of different activities. She has a studio apartment. It's expensive. It's like a hotel with carpeted floors, the walls are all painted with nice colors, and it's bright and cheery.

My aunt is taking a while to settle into Brookdale North Euclid, but I'm very happy with the place. Theyve done everything that they can to make her happy. The people are helpful and seem to care so much about getting my aunt settled. The most important thing for her is that she was allowed to bring her cat. It just seems comfortable and home-like and did not seem just like a big apartment complex. They have their meals, a group that walks every morning with the recreation person, there/s bingo, cards, and ice cream socials. They have a little craft class. Every day it's something a little bit different. They offer three meals a day plus snacks. They have a little coffee bar area with granola bars sitting out. If they want something specific from the kitchen area, one of the attendants will get it, so they're very accommodating. They've gone out of their way to help her.

Brookdale North Euclid is a small, nice community. It's clean but has more of a dorm feel because it's long, dark, and skinny, not very light and open. I wasn't super impressed, but the person who assisted me was nice, and I didn't have any complaint about her. They take the residents out once a week and have an activities room, a hairdresser/barber that would come each week, a few sitting areas, a library, and an outside patio area.

Brookdale North Euclid was not good at all. The people were not very friendly. The room that they wanted to show me for my Mom was not clean. It's straight off the boulevard, so there was a lot of trash in the area around it. I did not like it at all. Some of the residents were by themselves in the corner just sitting alone. I felt it was very unwelcoming.

Brookdale is nice, the woman who's the representative was very nice and very helpful. You can tell that it's an older building and it's not as large as some of the others. Their 1-bedroom is like 2-studios that were made into a 1-bedroom, and they just took the door off. They also have the pull chord if you need help, and I wasn't too crazy about that. They give you a price for independent living, and they evaluate how much it's going to cost for additional care. They have movie nights and Bingo.

I visited a Brookdale in Ontario. The staff didn’t really know that much about their policies and how things worked. It seemed like they were new at the job. The people that I met that were there seemed very unhappy, and the staff seemed to ignore them. The place was clean but not super nice. It was just basic.

Brookdale North Euclid is a very nice place. The layout was more like a hospital’s, where you have a long corridor with rooms off the side of the corridor. The staff were very friendly, very warm, very accommodating. We were there during meal time, and the people serving knew the residents’ names, knew what they were eating and where they sat. They make sure they know what their residents want. The dining area is an open, friendly area. The facility is very clean -- no stains on the carpet, no dents on the walls; the paint was really good. It was well maintained.

My sister is at Brookdale North Euclid. We like it because, in talking with the staff, everybody was friendly and helpful, and there was good information. The tour set-up was OK. Personally, the food is OK, but for my sister, she doesn't care for it too much. Sanitation wise, it was decent, but on our recent visit, it was a little worse in the evening than it was in the daytime.

Brookdale North Euclid was way too expensive for my mother. The room was smaller compared to that of the one we chose. It only had one closet. They had a lot of activities, and everybody was very friendly. The guy who showed us around was really great. The dining room was kind of dark. The staff that we met was very nice.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to share your thoughts about our community. We realize that our rooms are smaller than many expect. Most of our residents are downsizing, which can be a difficult transition. They do not as many items in our setting, as we provide many items and activities!

We have chosen Brookdale North Euclid because they would take someone with mild dementia in Assisted Living and not force them to be in the Memory Care unit. My brother-in-law has got Dementia, but he is not bad enough to be mixed in with all the patients with Alzheimer's and everything. For assisted living, they are very pleasant, and there are a lot of activities going on. If it gets to be serious with memory care then we may not have him there. They have a variety of things, like people who come in to perform music and movie night one night a week. There is not a lot of ground -- only an outdoor patio. I wish it was a big facility with a nice outdoor grassy area.

The staff at Brookdale was very helpful. They explained everything and how everything was going. They have movie nights there and they have a bus that take you to the doctors and to the store. It didn’t smell so it was good. It was very clean and nice. I had a very good impression. It’s in a good area where it’s convenient to a lot of places and it’s close to a hospital.

I thought Emeritus at Victoria Court was one of the nicest ones we saw. It was in an older style and it was like a Victorian house. I don’t know how many sizes of rooms they have. We saw one room and it was a little small for my parents.

Emeritus at Victorian Court was one of the places I've looked at when I was looking for a place for my mom. It's a very small place, but they try to make it a nicer looking place. The rooms were way too small -- that is why I was disappointed with this facility.

I visited Emeritus at Victorian Court. They were OK. The location was a big factor in my decision; it was too far away from my house. The staff was very cordial and very nice. I thought they had a good level of activity. I met their activity director, and he was social. I liked him. The rooms were probably a medium size; they were adequate. The main thing that I liked about them was all of the residents would wear the emergency pendant.

Emeritus was a nice place and my impression was good. They provided transportation to go to the doctors and shopping. They also had a good dining room. They had enough parking spaces. It was a good place for people who were quite healthy. However, my husband needed more attention and care. If my husband was healthier, he could stay over there.

We visited briefly with my cousin who passed away a couple of years ago. Although her stay at Emeritus was brief, I was very impressed with the staff and the level of care. She didn't stay there for a long period of time, so I can't say how it would be for a long-term stay. The rooms were very clean. They're spacious and nicely decorated. I can't say I'm an authority on it. I just know that when we admitted her and she got checked into the room, they were very professional. They had qualified nurses who were taking care of her.

It's a very nice place, I really liked it. If there's a place I would go to, I would go right there. I just enjoyed it. I was there lunch time and the staff was busy taking care of the individuals. The food looked good. They're helpful, they're feeding them, bringing them where they'd like to go and they're taking care of them.

We visited Emeritus at Victorian Court and I would say that the place is very nice and clean. It's a very large place and it is a two-story building. The rooms available were upstairs and they were a little bit small. Although they do have elevators, but we really don’t like that for my mother-in-law. I don’t like their underground parking, but that's not real big deal. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the people. I think they are playing black jack when we got there. I was impressed by how much activities they have. The one thing I really like about it is that you could bring a pet. The people seemed happy. The staff was friendly.

My mother-in-law stayed in Emeritus for only a week. It was just a short-term situation. The place was very nice and very comfortable. She had her own room. The staff was very nice. They took care of my mother-in-law. They had activities for her. They got her hair done, took her out to the city area, did her nails, etc. The best thing about this facility was its availability at that time and its location. We also like the people there that took care of my mother-in-law.

I found Emeritus on the internet. When I visited the place, I just felt that it was very depressing. It did not smell well at all. The food, I didn't taste it, but it looked awful and it just didn't smell good. The room that they showed to me was filthy. The colors are so depressing. It was dirty and smelled like cigarettes, so I left. I only saw the person that was showing me around and she was very nice and very helpful.

This location is right next to the Historic Route 66 and right across from Old Town Upland. It is in a Victorian style home. It is on about half of an acre or more and the inside is all well maintained. It offers many programs and has transportation provided. My grandma loves it there. She loves the staff and it looks like a friendly place to be. Each room has a tv and cable and there is also a living room area that has that as well. I am glad we put my grandma in there because it looks like a good environment for her to be in.

This is an assisted living facility that looks like a Victorian style building in the front and a long stucco apartment style building in the back. They will be undergoing a renovation that includes the exterior and interior. I was able to walk in without being noticed and I wondered about alone; I could have walked into any room undetected. I walked past a group playing word bingo in one of the common areas and no one said anything to me. The dining room was ample and set up restaurant style with a varied menu posted at the entrance. Pets are allowed; a real plus. I was impressed with the emphasis placed on getting input from the residents by holding weekly forums. Unfortunately, the building takes up most of the space on the lot so there isn’t any room left on the lot for an outdoor garden area. The good news is that as a resident becomes more dependent on care they can stay put and transition into hospice care.
