Our mom has been living in memory care at Pacifica Senior Living since February of 2020. We can't say enough about our outstanding experience with the facility and staff. Our mom shares a room, which we didn't think would be the best arrangement, but at the time it was all that was available. She's still in the same shared room and thriving there. They got her through the whole pandemic with the most excellent care, and have kept us informed of every potential issue along the way. There does not seem to be any turnover in staff, so we have had tremendous continuity and skill in her care. The facility has been completely renovated since our arrival, and the cost will still beat ANY facility in the area. We did visits with several in the area and "stumbled" onto Pacific on our way back from visiting a different facility. We were given an unscheduled tour on the spot and started filling out admission forms within an hour. The admissions staff went above and beyond to get her admitted within only a week in order to meet an insurance deadline that would allow her to be fully covered for in-house medical visits to the facility beginning her first day of residence. After four years, they seamlessly started working with Hospice to give her round the clock care now that she has turned 100 yrs old! She's been kept healthy and busy, and we still enjoy weekly visits to take her for a beautiful 2 mile walk in her wheelchair all through the residential area surrounding the facility. Pacifica has been a huge blessing to us and we recommend it without hesitation.

Pacifica Senior Living Northridge was on lockdown, but there was a nice, open space for them to be outside. It looked nice and clean. The staff members that I talked to were very helpful and showed me around in different areas. It was a good tour. I saw only one empty room and it was spacious and it had a bathroom. It was very utilitarian and it was good. It was a shared type of room. I didn't get a chance to see any private ones. The dining area was empty because they were on lockdown, but it was big and it overlooks the patio and it was kind of nice. They have a salon for maybe three people that would be getting their hair done. The place looked welcoming, but they were on lockdown so it was hard to see.

My friend spent 4 months in the Assisted Living side of Pacifica Northridge, where she was treated like a celebrity. As her dementia progressed, the staff communicated to me the recommended courses of treatment. She enjoyed having friends and freedom within the building, and she and I also enjoyed walking in the pleasant neighborhood. She has been in the Memory Care side now for almost 3 months, and is being exceptionally taken care of with her new challenges. She never complains to me, and I am welcomed whenever I visit, by staff and by residents. I would recommend the facility to anyone. She agreed to move here because her cat was allowed to come with her.

The lovely community at Pacifica Senior Living Northridge has brought out the best in our loved one, who has lived there for most of 2021. It is amazing to watch a man in his 80s grow socially via the activities at Pacifica -- by participating in daily exercise classes, multiple hand-eye coordination games, creative arts, religious services, dancing, singing, and listening to planned (and spontaneous) live piano mini-concerts by one of their wonderful residents. They gently encouraged a rather quiet man to participate in most of their activities, to the point where our family needs to carefully schedule our visiting times so as not to interrupt his routine and favorite activities. The staff is wonderful! We were called when they noticed some unusual coordination issues in our loved one so that we could follow-up with his physician. They go to his apartment to remind him about activities if he happens to forget. Additionally, they are consistent with medication administration, which is so very important. We are impressed with Pacifica and highly recommend it as a place to thrive!

Pacific Northridge has a kind, professional, full-service staff. Fran and Lisa made the transition to Memory care an easy process for our family. Frances and Carla are AMAZING care providers to our Dad! They know him and love him. They keep us constantly updated on his progress and provide activities and care around the clock. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is delicious and the variety of sitting options keeps it interesting for the family and residents. You can't go wrong at Pacifica!

My mother recently moved to Pacifica and is very happy there. On her first day, the Director Lisa introduced my mom to two residents who are active in the community and made her feel very welcome. There are activities such as flower arrangement, bingo, art etc. throughout the day to keep her busy. The facility has been renovated recently so is very nice and clean. The staff knows the residents by their names and is very friendly.

My husband is going to go to Pacifica Senior Living Northridge, which is a memory care and assisted living. He's moving at the end of the month. They gave me quite a long tour. I got to see everything, and I liked it. It's clean. They've remodeled everything. His room was redone, and it's beautiful inside. They're not quite done remodeling the place, but they're getting there. I'm impressed with the place. It's very nice, and it's reasonable compared to other places (and I have checked a lot of them). He's on level 4. He's in a wheelchair, but he can walk with minimal assistance. He needs someone to do everything, basically, like get him up on his wheelchair. He has a special diet because of the stroke and he needs help getting dressed. He's in the memory care section. He got early dementia, some of it from the stroke. In the beginning, they wanted him to go to skilled nursing but when they found out about all the therapies, they said they'd take care of it for him. Fran, the staff we met, was wonderful. She's very personable and she understands the people that live there with memory problems. She was very friendly, understanding and she knows what has to be done. They have a separate room for people like my husband that need help with their eating. He's lost some of his vision and coordination. So, I saw that the residents were in their wheelchairs or chairs and the nurse was with them. They were going to show a movie just before I left. They have a big room where they have a big screen and they are going to show a movie. They have a big room and, in the past before Covid, they had an orchestra play and they had a big grand piano in there. It's being remodeled so it's not quite gone but they will move the piano back in there. They have 2 garden patios and they have an activity room too where they do things. They were playing rock and roll music when they were having lunch, which is good because my husband loves music. They also have community dogs and they love animals.

My grandma is well taken care of at Pacifica Northridge. My grandparents had lived at another place prior to Pacifica. Their memories were declining more so the family decided to check out Pacifica Northridge where my great aunt had lived 8 years ago. From the moment the arrived my family saw the difference. Everyone felt at home. The staff was welcoming and attentive to my grandparents. My grandpa passed away naturally in November. He and the entire family was treated with respect. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you to all the staff. My grandma had a very difficult time after his passing. The staff again along with CareMore Health helped her during the very difficult time. All is good now, grandma is having fun and enjoying herself and making friends.

Pacifica Senior Living Northridge was under construction, so that was a little distracting. The building itself felt a little old; however, they're fixing it up very nicely. Once it's all done it'll probably be a little nicer. The rooms were on the smaller side and felt a little bit old, but not terrible. It wasn't bad; it was not as great as the other places but they were updating it. They had window-unit air conditioning, and the windows themselves were a little on the older side. I didn't feel like the facility was very secure. I only met with one lady on the staff, and she was fabulous. The residents were outside doing a coloring activity and they were happy. The dining room was pretty. I saw a menu and it looked nice with lots of choices.

Couldn't be happier w the professionalism and caring of the staff. As a long distance caregiver for my 89 yr old mother, I found every one to go above and beyond being helpful. My mom needed to be transferred from another senior living facility after her dementia needed closer attention. Surprisingly she was very pleased w her new surroundings and the attention she was given. The staff became long distance friends who would keep me informed of her antics. I will be forever grateful!

We moved my Grandma into Pacifica Northridge from another community and the difference I noticed was immediate. Such a warm and inviting feeing, more like home. The staff is kind and they truly care about their residents. My grandma is thriving thanks to this community. She is painting again and no longer complains about the food! I feel at ease now knowing she is well taken care of. He room has high ceilings which makes it feel very spacious with lots of natural light. One resident plays the piano, which she loves. She gets her medication on time and even gets her nails painted. My family is so grateful to have found Pacifica Northridge.

My parents recently moved in Pacifiica Senior Living Northridge. We are very happy we made this decision to move my parents . They had been at two other Assisted Living Facilities. We made this choice because of the emphasis on emotional and cognitive care. They are friendly and very attentive to my parents. So many activities for them to be involved in. They also have just up-graded their downstairs dining and activity areas. They have outside patios connected to the units and different sized rooms to choose from. Encourage you to see if it is the right place for you or your family members.
