My husband moved into Westmont of Morgan Hill. It's only been three days, but he's very excited. He likes it a lot. He is bragging about the food -- I guess the first night they had prime rib. You can order your dinners; it's definitely pricey there, but everything is really good. He has a small one-bedroom place with a small living room. I have only seen the inside of it in pictures, but he seems very happy with it and with the staff. He asked to go to dialysis, and they helped take care of it. They have a small movie theater in there and a restaurant where normally everybody gets dressed and goes to dinner, breakfast, and lunch, rather than have it delivered to their room, but obviously right now they are shut down. Westmont is one of the only ones in northern California who have not had a single patient getting COVID yet, but they are strict. The movers who had to move my husband's stuff, they had to have their shoes covered and their bodies covered, like you are in a hospital with full garb. And he is going to have his first vaccine tomorrow. They have been so good in contacting us and telling us what we need. They can pick times where they can go walk or do laps, and he goes around two or three times a day; you can just sign up in advance.

I had an in-person tour of Westmont of Morgan Hill. They were nice. They had a lot of facilities. They only have outside parking. They showed me a two-bedroom apartment, and it looked pretty nice. My only objection was the parking. They serve food, and I like that idea. The staff who showed me around was nice. They said something about having available medical care. They have a fairly large dining room, and they provide three meals.

I went to Westmont of Morgan Hill. It's a beautiful community. It just was gonna be $11,000 a month for the care that I needed for my mother, so there's no way I could do that. I saw a studio apartment. It was very large. It had a kitchenette and a very large bathroom. It was probably a 20 x 20 room. The staff during the tour was very nice. I actually spoke with the nurse, and she walked me through the process. It was like a 5-star resort. It was just very expensive. They had everything in-house: therapy, the dining center, and rehab. It was clean, new, and remodeled.

Westmont of Morgan Hill is pretty, it's nice and it's kind of high-end. The person who assisted me during the tour, Luis, was super nice and I like him. My dad didn't appreciate the place as much as I did. I did not eat there, but the dining room looked nice and comfortable. It was nice that they had the specials of the day, and they had it displayed. I thought that was kind of nice. I know they have a slew of activities, and the activities seemed pretty normal.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was the first one I toured. I would not put my mother there. It had a very different atmosphere. For one thing, the gentleman that gave me the tour did not seem that knowledgeable about what he was talking about. I don't think he'd been there that long and he was not as friendly and not as knowledgeable. They need to have someone better representing the facility because just my interaction with him was not positive. The other aspect of that is that it's a very old facility. It just has the feel of old folks home. It doesn't appear clean. It doesn't appear bright and airy. It's not a place you would want your loved one to be, and the cost is not that much less.

I've been at Westmont of Morgan Hill for almost a year now. It's clean, it's organized, and there's a lot of stuff here to do. It's been anchored around here for quite a while. The rooms are like small apartments. They have exercise 2 days a week, and for games, they have Bingo and Jeopardy.

Westmont of Morgan Hill and all the independent living homes were nice. They're clean and well staffed. The community kitchen was nice where they make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They're all well taken care of. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They keep the public areas, bathrooms, and kitchen very clean. Everything was lovely.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was very nice and clean. The staff was super helpful and I have no complaints. The dining area seemed really nice. They have a nice program for the Alzheimer's patients. They have a library, recreation room, and a movie theater. They also have a memory center for the Alzheimer's patients.

Shortly after my father's death, my mom needed to move to be near me. I find Westmont WONDERFUL for us! It is beautiful, clean and nearly all staff are very friendly! I eat with mom on occasion and the meals are great! The activities director is always going above and beyond. The residents have reached out to be friends with mom (and me!) and she is thriving and it hasn't even been 60 days. Westmont has really helped our family with mom. She feels loved.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was too far away, but it was a very nice place from what I saw. The staff was very nice. They had an exercise program, but I don't know if there was much equipment there.

My mother is in Westmont of Morgan Hill, and I'm not that happy with them. They do OK on the assisted living side, but they're still learning on the memory care side. They've only been open four or five years. They're mixing up medications and there's a huge turnover in staff. Nobody's happy working there. It's a real stress to have my mom there. She and all the memory care residents get a bus ride once a week. They don't get off the bus, but at least they get out of the building for two hours. The dining room is nice, but they always complain about the food, which I think is average. It's a beautiful facility to look at and that's what attracted me to it, plus it's only 10 minutes from my home. I wouldn't personally eat there because they charge you $12 and it's just not worth it, but they do cater to my mother. They know and give her what she wants and likes. She's been there four years, so they treat her well in the dining room. Some of the staff are wonderful, they just don't last in that environment. They have pretty good food. They have a great big TV set and a lot of people just sit and watch it. They really try to do a good job with the activities for memory care, but she doesn't participate. The price is astronomical. We had the same price for four years and with my mother's declining health, they raised her level of care from a 1 to a 2, which is a 10% rent increase. The rent increase was out of the blue. They give her her pills, and they sort of take care of her at night; otherwise, I had to hire a private caregiver to take care of her on top of the care she receives at Westmont.

Westmont Morgan Hill didn’t offer us to try the food. They only had one apartment that was free, and there were a number of people they were expecting to rent it to at any minute. There was a long waiting list for apartments, and we might have to wait two years to get one. So they weren’t really hungry for our business; that’s how I would put it. It was very expensive, small, and kind of dark. It was a quick little tour.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was a very nice facility, but my experience was a little bit traumatic. When I went with the staff who greeted me, I told him about my experiences, what I'm looking for, and what my specific needs are, and he basically turned me down saying that what I'm looking for is not a facility offered by a corporation. Maybe it's just the way he said it, but I left there in tears and I cried on my way home. I didn't have a good experience there. They refused to show the place to me, and they were very judgmental about disclosing my father-in-law's medical history. They were a little bit stringent on who gets to live there. But the place looked brand new and fancy. It's very nice and luxurious.

I was able to visit Morgan Senior Living, and the place is nice and clean. It has everything you are looking for. I was able to eat there as well, and they have good food. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have skilled nursing and pretty pricey. I like that they have monitors all over the place.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was really nice and newer, and its people were super nice, too. It was a little far; otherwise, we probably would have picked this one. They gave us some excellent baked goods. The rooms were really nice, and they had a lot of activities. They did a good job. I liked it.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was beautiful. I was really impressed, but it was expensive. The people living there seemed very happy. It was very nice, and I really liked it. It had a little theater and a little open recreation area upstairs where the residents do their puzzles, a bar with bar stools where they do wine tasting, and exercise classes. Their cafe or food area was really nice and open all day. There were a lot of people sitting there eating, and it smelled really good. The lobby was beautiful. You walk in and there's a high ceiling, huge fireplace, and really nice furniture. I would live there.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was excellent. It was a very nice place, and the staff was nice, very friendly, and very open. We moved my dad in there last week. The food was very good, and his apartment was very nice and spacious for him. They have movie nights, Bingo, and Black Jack. He is very happy so far.

We lived in Westmont of Morgan Hill. We liked the Morgan Hill community; it’s a small rural community. It was laid back and not so crowded. The facility itself was very beautiful architecturally. It’s designed along arts and crafts styling. The dining room gives one the impression that you are in a mountain lodge. The halls are wide and well-appointed with nice art. The ceilings are very high, the one in our living room was 11 ft., and in the other rooms it’s 9 ft. We had a nice 2-bedroom apartment with good views. It’s fully appointed, so we have a small, complete kitchen, with 2 nice size bathrooms and a good size living room. We appreciate the style of the people who designed this place. The staff is quite good; they’re friendly and competent. The only downsize is the meals, and they vary from quite poor to really excellent; they lack consistency. Also, There have been a lot of turnovers. I also wish they had a covered garage.

My mother has lived at Westmont for the past two months. It was difficult moving her from her home and removing her independence. However she has adapted well and the staff is very courteous and caring. The residents welcomed her with open arms. It is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Westmont of Morgan Hill's amenities were wonderful and the care seems nice. It’s two blocks from my house, so it's very convenient. If my husband is accepted, it would begin a two-month trial period to see how that goes. He is not bedridden, but he needs assistance for everything. The accommodation would be an apartment that shares a bathroom with another bedroom. They have three choices for rooms: two in a room, sharing the bathroom; Jack and Jill style; and completely private. We are requesting the Jack and Jill accommodation. It’s very homey and nicer than what we expected. It has a nice lobby and because there are different areas of care, there’s different activities going on. There’s a dining room, movie theater, and a little garden.

My mother has been in Westmont for two and a half years in the dementia unit. We had our issues, but she’s doing OK. We just have to keep an eye out and be on top of things that we are not happy with. There are things that she does participate in. There are some staff members that try to understand and go out of their way for her, and others seem to be there for the paycheck. The food can be good, but food is not an issue for Mom. The price increases astronomically every year, the meals get worse, and less activities. Lately, however, they are allowing family get togethers and talks with upper management.

I visited Westmont of Morgan Hill. It was a very nice place. My experience was very well there. I would highly recommend it. The staff was fantastic. I even met some of the people that live there, and talked with them. It was nice. It was an indoor facility. I did go to other places that were outdoors, but this was an all-indoor facility. It was very clean, and very well run. The amenities they have; the one thing I like, was the open eating area. People living there are not on a schedule. They can go there to eat anytime; which I really like. The apartments that they have were very spacious, and everything looked new. It was really nice.

My mother is in Westmont of Morgan Hill. She enjoys it. There are a lot of activities going on for her. Overall, the staff is very friendly. It is very expensive so we downsize her to a studio apartment to make it a little bit more affordable. They have beautiful studios. I do not think they design or made it for people who are elderly because they have kitchen cabinet and refrigerator, but there are not accessible. The closets are small, but they are beautiful rooms and well ventilated. It is a nice place.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was very nice, large and airy, and the people were moving around doing things. There were times where you can sign and go somewhere if you want to, and indoors, there was bingo, etc. Every question I had was answered.

We just toured Westmont today. I would give them four stars also. The only problem was the connection with the management team, and it had nothing to do with the facility. The facility itself, I would give five stars, but the coordination of the management and availability was my only disappointment.

I liked Westmont of Morgan Hill as I live near there, and they were very kind. The personnel who was going to give me the tour was busy at the time; he was supposed to call me back, but the receptionist was very helpful. It was a very nice and clean place. There?s three people in a room. They have a dining room, which is good, and they also have activities.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was very nice. The guy we met was very helpful. He was very receptive and very real. He was paying attention to what we were interested in, and he was very straight forward about everything. We had lunch there, and it was like a 5-star restaurant. It was so good.

Westmont of Morgan Hill was very nice, but a bit more expensive and smaller, so we were looking at that because my mom likes smaller, but it was not as close to us. It was a very nice staff and a beautiful facility. There were people using the exercise room and walking. I liked that the apartments were a bit larger, and it was also smaller, but they had a waiting list; they didn’t have openings right now, so it is harder to get in because there are lesser rooms.

My father was one of the original residents of Westmont. While I can tell you the dining room help and hands on caregiving staff is wonderful, it is clear this place is run as a business and will cut corners whenever and where ever they can. There was a lot of staff turn over. The food, while adequate was never in our three years there up to the standards of a place that seems to want to present a high quality image. It was adequate for our needs.

Westmont was newer and had more up-to-date facilities like stoves and dishwashers. When I visited there, I even made a deposit. My daughter's mother-in-law was there. However, the people there were not kind.

Worst experience ever, management continued to hustle us and change original agreement for my 82 yr. mothers moving in, and treated us like fools with no regard, management was like used car salesmen mentality.

This facility is AWESOME! From the first time we stepped through the doors to now having my 85 year old mother living there....Westmont has been great. They are very welcoming, caring and accomodating. This was our first experience with an assisted living facility and it has been wonderful. The facility itself is beautiful and NEW! The fireplace, the food, the apartments, the care and the employees are terrific. I highly recommend this facility.
