My dad is in Pacific Hills Manor. It's fine. I just think it's a little bit too strict. They're still not allowing any visitors, and they say it's the protocol; however I just visited the place yesterday because I had a mask on, was fully vaccinated, and I had no symptoms. My dad had a front room with a window, and so we were able to see each other. They moved him out of the less restrictive area because of his quarantine period, so now I can't see him unless he comes out to the front. So you have to make an appointment to see anybody. They have a little enclosure in the front with a glass partition between the visitor and the resident. You have to make an appointment ahead of time to schedule to see anybody. This is his third time there, so I know the inside. It's fine, and it's good. I'm happy with this place. They've been very accommodating. The facility is close to home. It's only 15 minutes away. It's the best solution for me. My dad has one closet. There might be three people in one closet, so it's more like a hospital room. They have the rehabilitation area, and it is clean. I have no complaints about cleanliness or the staff. They are fine based on my interactions. The rooms are all shared rooms, either two people or three people.

My husband is in rehab at Pacific Hills Manor, and he's supposed to be coming home on Friday. He's very happy there. He didn't mind to stay. In fact, he didn't even want to come home for Christmas. He liked it so much, but he can't stay. From what I've seen, they took very good care of the patients. They were very friendly. I think that's why he liked it there so much because the nurses were very friendly and they were helping him. Everything I saw was positive. Cleanliness was very good. They're closed down right now. No one can come in and visit because of the Coronavirus, and they never had any incidents that I know of there. They're on top of everything.

Pacific Hills Manor was very clean, and the people were very helpful. They've got activities. They have a good menu, which is important for some of the seniors.

The hospital actually sent my mother to Pacific Hills Manor and she has been there for two or three months now. What I like about this nursing home is that it is close to my work and also that it is clean. The staff is very helpful but my mom has to wait longer than necessary before they can help her. They have activities like music and bingo. There are two or three people in a room and some are screamers. Some would even holler all night. You just have to work it out because you can't switch rooms. It is just terrible. At the start, they said that they would accommodate vegetarians, but then they were giving my mom foods that she couldn't eat. Now, they are buying fish for her or some of the phony sausage patties and other stuff. It is not a great facility, but since there are very few choices of nursing homes in the area, it is better than nothing.

Pacific Hills Manor is located in a wonderful area in the nice, classy town of Morgan Hill. It is placed next door to the town's Catholic Church and just down the street from the library, where seniors living at the home are allowed to take trips to and rent books, cd's, or anything else they'd like. The home is in a square shape with an atrium in the center so that members can enjoy the outdoors and get some sun. Constant activities throughout the day keep most of the seniors occupied and happy, and there is a television for them to enjoy as well. Various classes are held too, such as cooking or baking classes so that they can learn or just bake pastries they already know and love. The staff is great. They are friendly and enthusiastic, very patient with everyone and seem to joke around with most. Overall it is a great environment that celebrates the wonderful ongoing lives of its senior members.
