My father was a resident of Atria Del Sol. He stayed there for two and a half months on respite. It's a great place. They have lots of activities and outings. It's very, very clean. The staff is very, very nice. The thing my father complained about was that he didn't feel like they were allowing him to get better. He felt like they were trying to keep him in the same dependent state, so he was not happy about that. They also would come in the morning and give him his pill when he didn't need to take it first thing in the morning. The other thing was that the meals were set from 9:00 to 11:00 for breakfast, but he is a late sleeper, so he would sometimes miss breakfast. I understand that's on him, but the other places were nice because he could still get something to eat. Atria Del Sol was very nice other than those things. Their activities were very good, too.

I toured Atria Del Sol. It looks good to me, but I can't say that it's excellent. The staff seemed fine. The rooms are good. I was offered food but I did not try. They had some board games, quiz nights, and karaoke, so it looked like they had a few things.

Atria Del Sol was very lovely. The staff showed us everything, including the dining hall and the little workout area where they do PT. This lady was absolutely just a great gal. She had really good energy and made us feel good. The bedroom that we saw was great. It was very, very clean and up-to-date. They made sure everything looked fresh. The paint was fresh and the carpet was fresh. The bathroom and everything was really, really nice. We met the activities director. We met the lady at the front who was really lovely and nice. Some of the staff members that we saw were helping the residents out, and it seemed like they really enjoyed working there.

Atria Del Sol is wonderful so far. I'm very happy here. It's a beautiful, lovely place and it's just very nice. I have a studio, but it's quite large for a studio and it's very nice. It's private. I can put pictures on the wall and it feels like home. Everybody is wonderful and very helpful; they don't get in your way or anything. They have a lot of activities. They have a little band here on the 4th of July and a barbecue. They have a singing group that comes in and there are lots of activities where they will take you on one of their buses to go and see different things and do different things and that seems great for everybody. I haven't participated in that, but they have those available. Three meals a day are provided and you can get snacks. It's laid out very conveniently. Based on my research before I moved in here, the pricing is comparable to other facilities.

Atria Del Sol was a very nice community located in a nice area. The only thing we didn't like was the rooms were very small, and they didn't have any one-bedroom apartments. They only had a studio room available. They showed us the activity room and the chart of all the activities listed. The staff who gave us the tour was very nice.

My Grandmother lives at Atria Del Sol. The reason she chose to live there is the feeling she got when visiting. It is very clean, the staff and residents are outgoing and friendly, the rooms are just the size she needs, and the grounds are great with views overlooking the golf course. She loves the food and activities. She has made friends who often get together and play card games. All the staff are amazing and helpful. I would highly recommend Atria Del Sol. It has been a very positive experience.

Atria Del Sol was very clean, and it was pretty. They had a studio, and it was bigger than the other place we have seen. It was much more modern. Probably more space than my dad needed. The reason why we didn't ultimately go with them was that the staff, we didn't feel were as caring as the staff at the facility we have chosen. But the physical room was nice. I believe they had a salon. I rate the staff an average because I felt like they were trying to make a sale, and they didn't care about my dad. It was very clean, and I think it's really good for very independent individuals that don't need a lot of support.

Atria Del Sol is a safe and happy community. I felt welcome by the staff and residents during my visit here. The residence is clean, well kept, and has wonderful caregivers on site. It’s also helpful for my grandma because they offer onsite therapy as an option. My grandma has been dealing with arthritis for a long time and I know she is being cared for very well here.

I visited this facility with my aunt who needs long term assisted living after her next surgery. She was absolutely against the idea of a nursing home and told me they always smell and everyone in them look unhappy and she’d rather die than have to move into one… we’ll, this tour proved her VERY wrong! Atria residents were happy and greeted us with enthusiasm. No smell but that of a state-of-the art facility near the Mission Viejo lake. My aunt was impressed with the excellent amenities like the hair and nail salon, restaurant, open bar nights, and movie theater. The staff was caring and fun and by the end of the tour my aunt was excited to try and get in sooner, perhaps for a month post-op, and then on the waiting list for one of the larger rooms. On that note, the rooms are smaller than some other facilities, but it promotes more socializing and activity participation which is so important to stay healthy in our later years. I can’t recommend Atria Del Sol enough and now I’m more motivated to work up my own retirement savings so I can ensure I have assisted living in-style when it’s time!

Atria Del Sol was very nice. It was very clean, modern, and warm. The person who gave the tour was Jennifer, and she was great. She was very knowledgeable and also very kind and patient, she answered a lot of questions. We were there during lunchtime, and there were a lot of people at the dining hall, and they were just very friendly with each other, very social. The dining area was great.

Atria Del Sol had a warm and very inviting staff. They were doing activities at the time, so the residents seemed very happy and engaged. The location was good. It was on a golf course and it was near shops and things. They had a game room and access to the outdoors where they would have barbecues and things like that when COVID is not going on. They had a little bistro in the entry. It was dated and the hallways were exceptionally long, and one of the main reasons we didn't choose it was because of mobility issues. There's no way my mother could have gotten from point A to point B; it was so long. The staff was fantastic.

The staff is amazing! They treat my mom so well and truly with genuine dignity and respect. It took her a long time to make the decision to move there but it was just in time because shortly after she moved there we all realized she needed additional care and moved to the memory care. She tells me all the time how much she loves it! She is very social and living in her old house by herself was not doing the trick but now she has new friends and the staff to talk to all the time. She loves it!

I have a wonderful time living here at Atria Del Sol. There is plenty to do throughout the day. I enjoy playing cards and Bingo, art classes, going on trips around town with my friends here, and enjoying the live performances on Thursday evenings. My favorite part of the day is my walks that overlook the beautiful golf course next door. I'm 101 years old and still living a full life here!

I moved from Newport Beach to the Atria Del Sol in June 2021for a post surgical respite stay and I have been very pleased with my time here. The staff have been very helpful and pleasant to work with and I could not be happier. I’ve made some lovely friends while here as well! Residents here are treated with respect and understanding and there is never a lack of laughter around here! I would encourage anyone interested to visit the facility for a tour. You will be as impressed as I have been with the staff, lovely landscaping, activities, food and common rooms. My family is pleased that I have settled in so easily and it has taken a big worry off of their minds knowing that I am happy to be here. It’s a win-win situation for sure.

Great place for Dad. He has lived and played golf at Casta Del Sol and always knew he wanted to live here. The food is great as we had a lunch visit, the rooms are all studios but they are set up great and he loves the men's club opportunities. The people living here are very active and everyone seemed really happy. It is a bit on the smaller side too which we like as he can easily navigate and make new friends.

My sister and I had the big decision to make to move our dad from living by himself to an assisted living facility. We didn’t take this lightly and vetted a ton of communities in the Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills area. When we came to Atria, everybody seemed so nice and cheerful. I thought to myself “oh this is an act. They just want my money”. We went on a tour and loved the spacious rooms, cozy gathering areas, and especially liked the competitive pricing compared to others in the area. When we decided to choose Atria and we moved our dad in, the front desk clerks were so nice and throughout the day people were swinging by introducing themselves to my dad (both workers and people who lived there). We felt good that dad was now safe and in a loving environment. To this day when I go and see dad, the front desk clerks are always so chipper and sweet. And they remember my name! Everybody I’ve spoke to either on the phone or in person are all very kind and easy to talk to. This is a big relief for my sister and I as we are always checking in on our dad. If you are looking at Atria as a possible place for your parent, I strongly suggest you give them a chance. We did and it was the best decision we made!

This is a beautiful facility with a very friendly and caring staff. The food is great and there are always activities to do. Having my mother live here provided her with the care she needed and alleviated my worry about her living alone. Her room had a great view of the patio and gardens. They also managed her medications which was a great help. This is a top notch facility that I highly recommend!

My Uncle has lived at Atria Del Sol for 3 years now. I could not be more impressed with them. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. Although 2020 was difficult with COVID, we found ways to stay connected to him with their assistance. We have been impressed with the constant commination with the family and as life is starting to find its way back to normal, the many ways they have accommodated family visits. We feel as if we are part of a bigger family, all working to provide a great living experience for him. He loves living at Del Sol.

Atria Del Sol was a very nice place, but it was not in the right location for my mother's needs. The tour was fine. We like it. They were very nice about the tour, and they followed up with us. It was very nice, but it was too large for our needs. It was too confusing to the older person who would have to try to find their way around. Even though they said it would take two weeks to get her conditioned, it wasn't about that; it was the location that was the issue. The staff who assisted me was good.

When I found Atria I was overwhelmed and stressed out looking for an apartment for my mom. Not only was it hard because everything was happening so fast but also COVID was not making it easy. I called and Jen helped in all ways. The studio apartment we picked is gorgeous and has everything my mom needs. Everyone has been so helpful, friendly and kind helping mom get settled and has made me comfortable knowing she is being well cared for. They have a back yard that you can’t find anywhere else and we are so happy we chose Atria Del Sol to call home. Thank you all for making this easy in a tough time.

From the minute you walk into this facility you will immediately realize how well run an organization it is. The common areas, the rooms, the dining area are all well appointed and very well maintained. The staff at Atria Del Sol are polite, caring and eager to help from the maintenance crew to the care givers, to the food staff, to the receptionist. My wife has been a resident here for two years. Seeing first hand the care she has been given lifted a huge burden off my shoulders knowing she is safe and being very well cared for.

We are in the early stages of looking for my Father. We visited Atria Del Sol and were immediately greeted with kindness. From the Welcome sign to his name on their Veteran Wall. He felt like Atria is a place he can call home. We are still working on logistic but now know where he wants to be. The community is incredibly well kept, the staff seem very friendly, and the other residents say they love where they live. It has taken the unknow out of his move and that makes this transition so much easier for the whole family.

I like Atria Del Sol because it was homier, smaller, and felt more accessible than the other place we looked at. It didn't feel like a hotel. The other one we visited had four levels, so it was big. Atria Del Sol just felt a little more compact and homier. I wasn't so impressed with the facility, but the woman who showed us around was very professional and very engaging. The place was very attractive. It seemed very clean and it had a pleasant view. There's a golf course adjacent to it and it had a nice suburban atmosphere. It was not in the heart of a city or anything like that. It had pleasant surroundings. They had a salon.

My relative was in Atria Del Sol. The memory care was very good, the staff was good, they had a bit of a turnover because of COVID, so it was reintroducing her to new people. We were able to take her out on visits and return her there. They would play bingo, they would play volleyball with balloons, any type of activity that could social distance them.

My Mom loves it at Atria del Sol. She loves the hardworking, caring and sincere staff very much!! XOXO The facility itself is very well kept with a welcoming entryway and reception area where we are always greeted as we come inside. The residents are friendly and the activities are fun and diverse so that everyone can find something to enjoy in their free time! They have bible studies, day trips to parks, outings, art and crafts as well as many different kinds of games for all like spin the wheel and bingo! I am so grateful for Atria and the special time I have been able to share with my Mom there in this last year!!

Atria Del Sol was my moms favorite. She loved it, and I would give them a five on everything. It was immaculate, first class, with a beautiful entryway, and reception area/lobby. It wasnt large, but she liked that, and she liked the smaller layout. The clients were vital, they were very engaged, they were more independent than assisted living, and thats what she liked. The residents were friendlier, and the activities were by far the best. They have bible studies, day trips to parks, outings, art and crafts, and yoga. They have extended hours in the restaurants and dining rooms, and they have a cook there from 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 at night who will make you anything off the menu. It was a real creative dining experience and my mom loved it. The staff member that took us on the tour was really focused on my mom. The facility had a resort feel to it, and the dining area had a more intimate, classy feel. The downside was that they only have studios.

Atria Del Sol was nice, very well-kept, and was in a nice location, but they had dinky rooms. It's a nice place, but it didn't suit me and didn't fulfill my needs. The place felt deserted, and I didn’t see staff there. People were not engaged.

My mother lived at Atria Del Sol. It was excellent there. She had been there for 6 years. It was a very nice community. They had more activities than they do at the other community. They would also take the residents on outside activities. They remodeled the whole community about 2 years ago, so everything was brand new and very attractive. The staff was great. My mother had the same person take care of her most of the time during the day, and she liked that a lot.

My mom has been in Atria del Sol since the beginning of March. It is really comfortable and feels very homelike. The staff people are very friendly and most have been there for five years or more. My mom has a roomy studio with pink colors, all new carpeting, and granite countertop in the bathroom and in the kitchenette. It is nicely appointed and everything is new. She loves the food. They will drive her to her doctors’ appointments and church because they are close by. The grounds are beautiful, green, and lush. They have very nice outdoor furniture and a balcony that is well appointed with furniture. Everything is very inviting.

I did like Atria Del Sol, but they were far more limited in placement; they only would be able to serve my clients mild to moderate Alzheimer’s, and then she would have to move. It was very clean and pleasant. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I visited Atria Del Sol, and they were going through complete modernization. They're overhauling the whole place, and that's just being completed. I found the staff to be very good, and the dining area was good. The design was very nice in the central lobby area, the living room area, and the dining room, but the rooms were smaller, and the windows were smaller.

We did visit Atria del Sol, and it was nice. We had a meal there, and the meal was very good, but the rooms were very small. They were in the process of remodeling a wing of the facility, but the dining room was very nice, and it was open long hours. They basically could cook you anything you wanted. We had a nice meal, it was great, but when we toured the facilities, the rooms where the guests would be staying and where my mom would stay were all studios, so they were too small. The staff members were friendly, and it looked like the residents were happy. I talked to quite a few people who lived there, and they were very happy, but the room setup just didn't work for us. They had a full calendar of activities as well.

The Atria is on a busy street. It was a problem because of the road noise, but it did have a nice property behind it that backs up against a golf course, so there’s a lot of greenery. The rooms were a bit small. It has very nice carpeting and is very clean. I didn’t get a warm feeling from the people showing me around, so I didn’t go back.

We didn’t have a lot of money to spend, and it just so happened that the facility that we found is right down the street from where I live. They were having a special that month so that’s why we chose Atria Del Sol. They’re very kind, they help my auntie with whatever she needs, and they notify me if I need to go down and help her. My auntie is very happy there, and she never complains about the food; it’s like a restaurant style, and she is very happy with it. It’s a little dated, so they’re just revamping it. It’s clean, and her room is always neat and clean when I go in there, so they’re very good. We don’t have any issues.

The staff at Atria Del Sol is wonderful. They showed that they really care, and everybody is just wonderful. They keep the rooms clean. They are remodeling now, and they are building the place for memory care. The food is good. The residents have several choices, you have a waiter, and you order off the menu. If you don’t like what they have, they can fix something else. You couldn’t do all activities in one day. They have so many activities. They have tours and go the beach for a barbecue. They have musicians come in. They have tea socials, and they have games all the time. I am very happy with everything here.

My husband and I visited this facility in preparation of my mother-in-law needing respite care after a month long stay at the hospital and Palm Terrace center. To get to the desk to speak to someone, you have to walk practically to the back wall. The lady did not seem to know what we were talking about when we said we were there for a tour. She did call someone and a very nice older lady came out and helped us, but she did not seem like the regular sales person who does this on a regular basis. Anyway, this location is different because it is two levels in the front of the facility and three levels in the back. It is going through some major remodeling which it needs as it does seem a little run down. As we went on our tour, our guide explained to us that they will be remodeling the rooms as they become available. So basically, if my mother-in-law were to move into a room permanently and the room wasn't remodeled yet, it wouldn't be until she passed or moved out. Also, this facility only has one elevator for the residents to use, but they are adding another one at the other end of the hallway. We decided against this location as it seemed way to busy with the remodeling going on. I'm sure that when the major stuff is done (new elevator, total relocation of the dining area, etc.) it will be very nice.

Atria Del Sol was OK. It was one of the three we were considering at that time. The Atria was fine as far as sanitation goes. They had a nice dining area, like a restaurant setup. They had nice facilities there, and it was definitely a consideration to go to. Their prices were within reason, I thought. I'd probably recommend it, as I remember the pricing was good and it was a nice facility. I thought the staff was friendly, congenial, and attentive to what I was potentially looking for.

My mom has been at Atria Del Sol now since late November and it's working out well for her. We chose this facility because we were looking for something that was fairly close to where my sister and I live. What impressed my mom was that it felt very warm, cozy and friendly. She had been to a couple places that felt too stiff and formal and that just didn't work for her. This one is warm and friendly. The food is good. She is happy with it. I've also eaten with her there and the food is good. She loves all the activities they have there. There's something going on all the time that she could choose from. She's happy with that too. The one she enjoys the most was, recently they gave everybody a journal. Once a month they would get together and go through the journal. My mom just loves that. She was able to start thinking and talking about her childhood and learning about the other people's lives. Over the holidays, they had a lot of entertainers, which she loved. They had music and there were kids that came over and sang for them. For accommodations, Mom's room is a good size. It has a sitting area, a good size area for her bed, and a big closet. It also has a little kitchenette area and a decent bathroom. It's nothing big, but it's doable. She has a deck and it's a nice area that she can go sit outside right off her of her room. It's a nice room. The staff's work ethic is great. They're warm and friendly. Mom likes their friendliness and that has been a positive also.

The property is well raised and the people were very nice. The bedrooms is not nearly separated. It needs renovation, but I will still recommend Atria del Sol.

The people who worked at Atria Del Sol are all really nice and very friendly. The place is clean and seems to be up to date. They have a pretty small elevator. It's very nice here.

This facility is great. My grandmother is housed in one of their studio units. It has a bed, a TV unit, nightstand, a closet, and a bathroom. It reminds me of a hotel room because it is luxurious and comfortable, but there isn't a kitchen. However, the facility does have a community dining room. The chef cooks three meals a day and also provides snacks throughout the day. What makes the facility distinctive and special for us though is the amount of community activities they have for residents. For grandma, religion is a big deal and they have religious services that are conducted weekly. The also have a full time activities director, so grandma can enjoy playing games like Scrabble with other people. They also plan outings and trips; their are numerous easy hikes around the area, and the facility isn't too far away from the beach. When residents want to go somewhere, they just use the provided transportation. For a price that's slightly above $2500 a month, we find this place very affordable and matching of our needs.

Although the facility is nice for how much it costs to live there, the staff is not the most friendly. After about a year of my grandparents living there we decided to relocate them due to the lack of care they were being provided. This assisted living provider is a good place for seniors who are more capable of taking care of themselves, this is not a good place for those who need extra care

Atria Del Sol is an amazing facility. They had a 24-hour cafe with free snacks and coffee, and a program for Alzheimer's disease that seemed to help my client tremendously. Although a bit pricey, I can definitely see why the family chose this facility. The price is well worth the benefit that my client has received from staying here. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the Mission Vejo / OC area.

My great grandma was a resident of the assisted living home. I used to go visit her with my grandma and everyone that worked at the facility was so nice to us. My great grandma used to tell me all the time that she loved living there cause she had many friends there and it felt like a home away from home. I feel that the assisted living home really made a difference in my great grandmas last few years of life. She was happy and relaxed. We had such a good experience with them that I would feel great about sending my grandma there when she reaches the right age. It also makes me feel great knowing that the Mission Viejo location is just a few minutes away from my house. I know I would be able to get to my grandma if there was ever an emergency.
