The staff are very friendly and careful when they deal with residents. They call each week to check up on my grandmother's health. Also, since residents are no longer able to go to the facility after the COVID-19 precautions were set, they deliver a tasty lunch to our door step (they leave it outside). I am really grateful for the Silicon Valley Adult Day Health Care Center for helping my grandmother.

My parents-in-law have joined Silicon Valley Day Health Care Center for 3 years. They enjoy going there not only because the center puts together healthy exercise, various fun-filled games, and different daily activities, to keep each member physically strong and mentally sound; but also provides nutritious and delicious meals. Plus, the staff are friendly, happy and helpful. Even during this close-door period due to Covid-19, they care so much about the well-being of the elders that they deliver lunch to the door of each member. To keep residents feel connected and not get bored, they hold morning exercise programs a few times per week via Zoom! My in-laws are so excited and anticipated when that moment comes! I highly recommend Silicon Valley Day Health Care Center to those who need the services!

About a year ago, I looked for a day health care place to look after my ailing mom. Through a friend of mine, I know there is an Adult Day Health Care facility located in nearby city Milpitas. My friend cannot say enough how much he appreciated that the staffs including nurses and social worker taking great care of his dad in a daily basis. I decided to pay a visit to this facility. The place is very spacious, bright and clean. There are many activities and care programs to aid and maintain the mental and physical health of the elderly. Nutrition balanced breakfast and lunch were served; participants seemed to appreciate the meals very much. The processional staffs are very friendly, many of them are bilingual and this is a BIG plus for my mom! What's amazing is that my mom's application to enter the program offered by this facility (paid by medical) was first denied by the State. The staff prepared all the necessary documents and went through a lengthy fair hearing to fight for my mom's right to participate. I just learned that the State granted the approval for my mom. Wow, I am a happy camper now! Thank you very much Silicon Valley ADHC!

Silicon Valley Adult Day Health was formerly known as Milpitas Adult Day Health. But it closed down in April 2011 due to medical fraud. They changed the name and reopened shortly after that. They're open 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, M-F. Pros: They provide free transportation to and from the facility. The facility is a large, nice building, right off 880. (But I've heard the building is in foreclosure.) Cons: The only payment they accept is Medical. They only want to work with Chinese and Korean; no one else is welcome.(The Asian staff reflects that, as well.) The staff seems very stressed out, and there's a lot of multi-tasking. The receptionist might be asked to help PT do physical therapy, for example. Food is provided by 2 private restaurants, and it's horrible. The new owner has no experience in ADH--it's just an investor.
