My husband has been at St Jude Care Center. It was not a good place. The quality of care and the response time weren’t good. They always seemed to be short handed and the turnover of the staff seemed to be ongoing. They need to be full staffed. These people need constant care, and I don’t think you should cheat people out of what they deserve or what usually Medicare is paying for. The cleanliness wasn’t there, and it just didn’t feel right. I wouldn’t recommend it at all unless you went to it because it was in town. One thing they did have good there was the rehab department. The therapists there were very good; that part, we had no problem with. It might be OK for short term but not for very long term.
