Las Alturas is a 78-unit, HUD 202/LIHTC community for older adults (62+), with one-bedroom units. The ground-level floor of this community houses the manager’s office and a lobby that will be furnished to also serve as a lounge. An elevator will take residents and visitors to the second floor where they will find a community room with a full kitchen, library, a crafts room, a computer room and an office space for our social service coordinator. The community room will have access to a large courtyard area, complete with fountain and dog corral to allow pet owners to take their pets outside while remaining in the safety and comfort of the community. Las Alturas was recently awarded the 55+ Housing Council SoCal SAGE Award as the “On the Boards” 2012 Project of the Year.
