About Graceful Senescence Adult Day Health Care in Los Angeles, California
At Graceful Senescence, we believe anyone who has earned the right to be called "Senior" should be celebrated! By formulating individualized plans of care, we encourage each participant to reach their maximum potential. We address all areas that affect your quality of life (mind, body and spirit). We support health, decrease illness, and deter institutionalization.
Sitting at home and not being stimulated is significant risk for deterioration. Participants who attend the center regularly are healthier and happier, have improved quality of life, maintain independence longer, and experience enhanced socialization.
We're a fully licensed and certified Adult Day Health Care Center designed to assist adults or elderly persons with varying health conditions. Some conditions include High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke, Arthritis, Dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.
Participants receive:
- Skilled nursing care
- Social services
- Therapeutic activities
- Meals (breakfast, lunch & snack) & transportation
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapies (if needed)
- Dietary & psychiatric consultation (if needed)

I live about 10-15 minutes near Graceful Senescence. I had been passing by and I stopped and checked the place out. I was pleased with what I have seen. The staff and the administration are excellent. Whatever I asked them to do, they were willing and glad to do it for me. I have been going there for over a year and it works out well for me. They have activities like power walking, had exercise and trivia. There are groups that come in and administer songs. They have gym equipment too. The food there is good.
