I am currently here and the staff is pretty caring and efficient. I'm sure there's always room for improvement as the med techs and caregivers are not always on the same page, but for the most part, I think they are very caring. They have a very good chef here that feeds us. They probably could improve just a little bit on having maybe some foods with more complex carbohydrates rather than plain carbohydrates, but for the most part, I don’t have any problem ordering either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I toured Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods, CA. It's wonderful. We've been there a few times, touring and meeting the people. The apartments are gorgeous. The dining room is lovely. There are activities all day long. I noticed the other residents there, they all seemed upbeat, happy, and talking to each other with great energy. It's beautiful and it's five minutes from me. I had lunch there twice. Their food was terrific. It's like a low-salt diet, but the food was very tasty. The staff was wonderful. They were doing some arts and crafts in one room. They were playing Scrabble in another room. They're playing dominoes in another room. Those were terrific.

I looked at Ivy Park of Wellington which seemed to be the one that would meet my loved ones needs the best. I liked that they had a system of tracking residents who wander so that they would be less likely to get lost. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The assisted living units were spacious. They allowed pets. The food was quite good. They had a bistro for snacks. They had a very nice library. There's plenty of parking.

Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods, CA was very impressive and very nice. It had a more modern up-to-date main entrance. The people there were very friendly. Our tour fellow was very good. He was very personable. I was there with a friend who's also looking, and he is into the financial end of it. The staff answered his questions honestly and upfront. The apartments were large and very nice. They had similar appliance structures. We had a very comprehensive tour. We saw several apartments. It's like a big loop and we walked all that. We talked to a couple of residents who appeared to be very happy and friendly. They had a pool outside. They had a putting green and people were using it. They had a physical therapy room and a gym. They had a movie theater and little activity rooms and things like that.

My mother is moving into Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods, CA. What I needed was for my mom to see herself in this place. It was very welcoming, and warm, lots of questions were answered, and took her time. So it was perfect for what I needed, and now we're moving forward. They provide a washer/dryer, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a stove and oven. The food was good.

We looked at Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods, because it is right connected to a rehab facility. It was OK. They had re-done it, but it was still an old building. They put a new coat of paint on an old building. The staff was OK, nothing special. The big thing that we did not like about that one was the parking. That's the big downfall of that place, outside the fact that it's old. The rooms were old but nicely painted. There's a community fee, and they say they change the rugs and all that kind of things, but it also made it a little bit more difficult when you were in a walker or in a wheelchair-type thing for pushing and getting around. With activities they have things coming and going. They have card games, bingo, and some clubs. They have some entertainment that comes in. My mom is not one to play cards and she's not interested in bingo, so that's of no value to us.

I toured Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods. The fellow that took us around knew everybody's name, and I just thought that was so personable. You could tell he had a relationship with the people who lived there. I just thought the place was so neat because when we arrived at the front desk, there was a sign welcoming us, and I just thought that was such a nice touch. Everybody was so friendly and very welcoming. I loved that they had redecorated the place and redone it recently. It felt like you're in a new location. I loved the way everything was spotless and very organized. The rooms were small and that just took me back, but they had so many different rooms to do different things like crafts, or if you had a meeting or a Bible study, or if you wanted to get together in a large group. There were so many different rooms that you could use. I liked that they had occupational therapists and physical therapists and someone who can take you places. Like if you want to go to church, they'll take you, or if you want to go to the doctor's office, they'll take you. They're always coming up with ideas of something fun to do as a group. And so if you are bored, it's your own fault because they have some neat things where they take their clients to. They encourage families and the kids to come and visit. I love the way they have their courtyard because you can be in the courtyard and be safe. You can't enter it from the outside area, you have to be in the building, so I love the safety of that. There were so many things to do, and I loved the fact that they didn't squish or squash, so there wasn't room for a place to do your hobbies. The rooms were just too small for us for the price.

I went to look at Ivy Park of Wellington. I like the daily activities, the food, and the facility. They have a gym, a movie theater, and a wide range of activities. The menu looked very appealing. The apartments were well-maintained, small, and expensive. The upkeep was excellent. The living facilities are very cramped. You have to store your clothes in a closet that's out on the balcony.

We liked everything about Ivy Park of Wellington - Laguna Woods, CA. My godmother was very happy and she liked it a lot. She would have chosen this facility had the price been within her budget. The staff was very nice and friendly, and they even offered us to stay for lunch, but we had another appointment. Their dining room was nice and clean. The front of the building and the lobby were very nice, and it was very conveniently located close to a hospital.

I really, really liked Ivy Park of Wellington. What I liked best was the location. The location was familiar to me. It just seemed to be a really, really nice location. The restaurant facility was really nice. The people were very friendly. I had a feel of what it would be like to live in a place that have meals there with other people. I liked that a lot. That was what I like the best. The room that I looked at all had small kitchenette. The rooms had a fairly good-sized refrigerator, which surprised me. Some of them had a stovetop, but some of them didn't, and they just said the microwave. It was pretty well set up other than furniture. The thing that I liked the best was they have a really, really pretty nice courtyard, nice walking paths around the courtyard, and a nice place to sit and all that stuff. I got to see their schedule of their activities. They have really good activities for the people. I talked to a couple of the ladies that lived there and I had kind of lunch at their table, and they were talking about how they would go to see some shows at Segerstrom, and I said, "Oh, that would be nice to have that type of thing available." The only thing I would mark them down on is the cost. It's one of the expensive ones that I looked at, but I really liked it. The lady that took me there was absolutely fantastic. She was very helpful, she answered all my questions, and she took lots of time with me. She checked with me a few times to see where I'm at in my decision making. She's very good. I was very impressed. The food was very good. My daughter and I were there, and it was kind of late morning, so we both had breakfast. The food was very good. I would say it's excellent. Very tasty. Their layout and everything was really good.

It is excellent. The food is very good, the only thing bad about it is the facility, it doesn't have central air and excellent activities. As far as exercise programs and all of that, remodelling of the main building, their living accommodations are not as good. We only saw the independent, and I think the independent kind of goes in with the assisted. The staff is outstanding. They have a good selection, but we didn't like what we chose. I think their food is probably very good, we didn't like our main course, but we liked everything else.

We visited for my stepdad. My husband and I like it better because it is a bigger facility with more amenities that stood out to me, like the pool. The staff and cleanliness seemed good. The rooms were large and very nice. The common dining areas and entryway were nice. Everything seemed very nice.

We visited and it was a really nice place but didn’t have what my friend was looking for, and the rooms were too small for her. The staff was fine. I saw a pool and a lounging area for the residents.

Everybody was fine. We went in and had lunch. They were very nice, and the food was good. They showed us around, and it was very pleasant. The rooms were OK, although on the small side, but nice.

We really like the friendliness of the place. It is very open and very welcoming. My loved one has a studio room. It is a very nice room. We are very happy with it. It has a little kitchenette and a bathroom. There is a very nice view of the pool. She has a small balcony, so it is very light and airy. She doesn't feel closed-in. Also she loves the food at Las Palmas. They have a nice salad bar. There is a special menu everyday and if you don't like that, you can order from the regular menu. She is very happy with the food.

I just liked it here. The rooms and the grounds are lovely. The staff is very nice and thorough. The people were also nice. She has only been there for two weeks, so I really don't know much about the facility. For the memory care area, I would like to see that they have a space where the residents can go in and out freely.

What I like most about here is the entire facility, the ambience of the facility, the staff, the service that they provide, the grounds in which they're located and the resources they provide including enclosed patio with pool. It's much like a garden apartment complex. The dining area is very comfortable. The architecture there is very welcoming. It's a little bit like a theme restaurant and the food so far in the several weeks we've been here has been excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have been more than quite satisfactory. The only thing that's missing is a bottle of wine with dinner.
