Very nice facility with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were beautiful, clean and multiple activities for residents. The food looked great! We attended a Luau at the facility which was very nice and loved by the residents that attended. This is definitely a contender when my mother is ready to commit!

The staff at Oakmont of Huntington Beach was very accommodating and very professional, and the rooms were very clean and adequate. The facility itself was very clean. I saw two rooms. The first one I saw was a semi-private for two people with a restroom and wooden closets in between the two rooms, so it was pretty private. The second one just had a half-wall in between the two residents, so it wasn't as private and it's a little bit smaller.

I toured Oakmont of Huntington Beach. I like everything. The living spaces are beautiful. All the common areas are luxurious and updated. I like everything they have to offer like the dining room, and the food looked very good. It's just not affordable for my parents. It's more pricey than I expected. The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Oakmont of Huntington Beach was fine. I didn't have anything negative about it. The only thing that is not attractive is the general location of it. It's kind of a busy area and it's not within that planned community atmosphere. The staff was very nice and the facility was very good.

I went to Oakmont of Huntington Beach. If I went with one, I would probably go with them. I just thought it was newer, and to me, it seemed just a bit cleaner. The other one seemed dated to me and much more expensive. I thought for the money and the facility, Oakmont of Huntington Beach would be better. They have a lot of amenities. They have a movie theater, and they have nails and hair. I thought it was great. I did not try their food, but it looked good. We went through the dining room and people were eating, and it looked good. The staff were all really friendly.

Oakmont of Huntington Beach was very nice, upscale, and clean. They have a lot of facilities. They have a small movie theater downstairs in the basement, a hairdresser, and exercise classes. The dining area was very clean, adequate, and well put together. The staff is very good, knowledgeable, sharp, and attentive. They have a room just for crafts, and regular outings if you want to go shopping at Target. They can give you a ride to church. They also have clubs, like reading clubs.

I toured Oakmont of Huntington Beach. My mom liked the property a lot, so she's interested in getting on their waiting list. She's not quite ready to move in now, but for the future. It was independent living through assisted living, and they have a memory care center, too. It's a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens. The woman who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and nice. She listened to my mom and what her needs were. The apartments were very spacious. There are a lot of really fun activities from workout classes to art classes, a lot of music, and lots of activities to do. The food looks really good, and the menu was impressive. It was immaculate, very well up-kept, and new. The staff was knowledgeable, nice, and warm. She was great, answered lots of questions, was very informative, and was very caring. A very nice person.

My ex-husband lived in Oakmont in Huntington Beach. I spoke to them. They're very nice, but they are more expensive than where he is now. That would probably be the main thing. Oakmont is very nice. It's a very good place, very nice place, very clean, and has nice people. They do all the levels of care, and they have the memory care unit on the first floor. I think it's three levels, and he was on the second level. When you go in there from the hospital, sometimes you need more help at the beginning. Later on, he got to where he didn't need much help, so the price went down. It's flexible, depending on how much care you need. The food was really good. They have a beautiful dining room. I would go there and have dinner with him. It certainly had really really good food. I like the ambiance. It's really pretty. It's like living in a really pretty hotel. The cleanliness is excellent. You're paying more. It demands a higher price because it's very well-kept. They're very good. They're very nice there, and everyone is really friendly.
Thank you Oakmont!!

My mother-in-law fell a year ago on Easter Sunday. After her hospital and rehab care (all at the start of Covid) she decided it would be best to move to an assisted living facility. I cannot thank the staff at Oakmont enough for their help and professionalism during this time. She is doing really well in an environment that is safe and comfortable for her. She loves participating in the various activities and meeting the other residents for card games. Staff is kind and responsive to her needs and they also keep the family informed of any changes or concerns. The Best!!

My mother chose this facility after previewing it with a friend, and we were able to move her in with ease. She loves Stephanie who is fabulous with crafts and activities, such an amazingly talented and kind gal. The facility is clean and the people working here are delightful! It wasn’t even too bad during Covid lockdown! We are kept informed by Rosa and the food is very good!

We have trusted the care of the Oakmont staff in Memory care with our Mom since they opened in the summer of 2019. I can't speak highly enough about the loving care of the staff members. Handing our Mom over to the care of "strangers" was a very scary thing...and since day one, I continue to feel they are not strangers, but Angels for all they do. Communication with team members, has continued to give me peace of mind, that Mom is loved and cared for.

My wife is at Oakmont of Huntington Beach. I'm impressed with the operations. They seem to be pretty good. My wife has had a fall since she was there, and they took X-rays of her. What I was concerned about was if they send her to the hospital, then it's going to be a real problem, but so far they were able to take X-rays right there in the facility, which pleased me. I see that they're very attentive, and they seem to be taking good care of her. I visited a lady in a different facility, and I seem to like this facility better than that one. I have not experienced the activities, but they are having activities every day, and that's kind of important because they're not just sitting there. They're limiting the visits so I can only visit in the afternoon. They have more activities going on in the morning, so it's somewhat limited on when I can go, but I can understand that because they're doing activities, and they're keeping them active, which is good. I did see a picture of my wife doing some coloring. I don't know what the activities exactly are at this point, and she can't communicate very well, so I can't get an answer from her. They're quite expensive but I think it's worth it. Years ago, I visited a neighbor at another place, and compared to that, this is a lot nicer. It's quite expensive but I'm not really experienced enough to say whether I'm getting the value for the money. For me though, it's money well spent, because I want a good experience for my wife.

We went to Oakmont of Huntington Beach. It was a good tour. The place was on a larger scale and cost. Everything was beautiful, but my mom did not like the location. It was a little farther out than she wanted to be. The staff was very good. She was very thorough; it was a good hour-and-a-half tour, so we felt that we saw everything. We were able to see the dining room with people in it, and it was beautiful. They have a hallway exercise every morning where the residents come out in front of their rooms and do exercises. They had computer classes, which my mom really liked, crafts, cards, and there was a piano in the lobby. One thing that really appealed to my mom is that they had covered parking, because she's still driving.

This is truly a 5 star facility! And the pricing, with all that you see and get, is well within the range of other homes I visited.

I like Oakmont Of Huntington Beach. I met some of the residents there and they raved about the place. The staff took me to a couple of residents' room. They have a really nice bar. They have a nice dining room where you can see where they cook and the chef is there. Then they have a grand parlor. There are all kinds of really nice activity rooms. It's beautiful. It is only four months old. Their rooms are bigger. The smallest ones they have is 400 square feet, which is nice. It is just a studio but it looks more like an apartment because it is bigger. You can put also couches and tables along with the bed, so it feels more like a home. The menu looks like you're going to a country club. They gave us a cheesecake and my mom liked that.
