Prisoners in jail receive better treatment than this facility provided to my relative. He lost 25 lbs in 2 1/2 wks bec he wasn’t eating and no one involved with him cared enough to communicate this to the RN and MD responsible for his care. My relative’s wife called the facility multiple times trying to speak to him but excuses were made each time as to why they can’t take him to the phone. Administrator didn’t return her phone calls either. My relative was supposed to be given a medical bed with side rails—-he wasn’t. He fell out of bed or the wheelchair, was taken to the hospital to be checked out and the no one from the Blossom Valley Inn staff ever notified his wife of this. This facility should be shut down.

I didn't send my mother to Blossom Valley Inn. It was loud, and the apartments were multilevel. It was like a hotel and so she would've been lost instantly there. I wasn't impressed with the staff and services. There was a woman who was extremely agitated because she had fake money and couldn't spend it anywhere. She was having a hissy fit in the lobby and nobody was doing anything about it. They had a main dining hall that's too small for their population. There were people just parked in wheelchairs up and down the hallway. It was fairly clean, but it was dark and dismal.

I do not like the place, the staff, or the food that they give my mother to eat at the Blossom Valley Inn. I also do not like that they do not help her the way that they are supposed to. If I had another option, I would take it, but I do not have it right now.

My grandmother has been a resident there since August of 2013. The employees are saints for taking such good care of her And keeping me informed of her needs. I don't know what I would do without Blossom Valley.

The care my mom receives at Blossom Valley Inn is outstanding. Within the first week of living there she was being greeted by name by several caregivers who saw her walking in the hall, which is amazing since there are almost 100 people there for them to know. All of the employees seem genuinely compassionate and caring and treat her with respect and kindness. She enjoys the activities and although she wouldn't participate on her own, they seek her out to encourage her to participate. Whenever we visit she is clean and well groomed. All of the employees I have had contact with seem to genuinely enjoy their job and are happy to be there. The Halloween Carnival they held for the residents and families was really amazing, so much time was invested to give the residents something fun to do. I am so thankful we discovered Blossom Valley.
