My mom was a resident of Leisure Vale Assisted Living. She was doing great. She played bingo, activity games, and movies. They have meals three times a day and they had snack meals. They had a happy hour. They had a party. They had Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas. They had a big dinner. You have to bring your family, and it's great. There were times they gave the medicine to make sure that they took the medicine right. They make sure they're there. They do dressing if you request it, they do it. They were very compliant with people. They're good people. The food was edible, it was good. It's good for people, like soup or potatoes or Caesar salad. If you don't like what's for dinner, they'll get you something else.

I would highly recommend Leisure Vale to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility for themselves or a loved one- The rooms are nice and kept very well by the friendly cleaning staff- Management and the rest of the staff, starring Simi, is also very friendly and attentive to the residents needs- We are very happy to have found Leisure Vale-

I don't usuallly write reviews but in this case where credit is due - I should and I will.. 1. From my housekeeper who even takes the initiative to fix my LED lamp extension cords because I didn't how to safely put them where when linens will be changed. 2. Being disabled I need to do my exercise. With my age and medications, it gets harder to do laps but how refreshing is it when I get dropped off and picked up by the Leisure Vale van when I go to the YMCA. 3;When maintenance has a long line ot tasks but still manage to come 8:00AM sharp when I'm still in bed. I could go on and on (I'm sure I missed out on many others, (please forgive me!)

The rooms are clean and well taken care of by the staff. The food is good and usually tastes great. There are fun activities and we are near conveniently to stores and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful and we have music and entertainment sometimes.

My brother has been a Resident for many months now. He has been permanently disabled for decades, and up until 2 years ago he was able to live independently. When he started to deteriorate, my son and I went from a Weekly visit to finally taking care of him twice a day, we just couldn't handle him anymore. His doctors put in a lot of effort for him to be in Leisure Vale. We're so happy!!! He really enjoys the social aspects, his room is nice, Every staff member is really caring and courteous. The Administrators have been so Great working with our family, really a blessing. Big Shout Out to Nilda!! And the front desk people are great as well. My brother feels at home and he feels Safe. Thank goodness

My mother has been at this facility going on 6 years I believe. We have been very fortunate that the staff is great and keeps a close eye on her as they do with everyone else. In the last year they have been taken on by new ownership and they are remodeling everything. There is now wifi throughout the entire building which is a first and very useful. The hallways have been re-done and look very clean and nice. Very well lit as well for visibility. There's a security camera system set up now which gives us peace of mind in regards to security. The staff has always been the best and have gone above and beyond for my mother. The staff is a very important asset to this facility. Front of house are fantastic and are a phenomenal staff composed of amazing people. They are always attentive and go above and beyond to accommodate my mother's needs as well as everyone else's. Back of house in the kitchen is also staffed with amazing people. They’re attentive and try to make everyone smile while serving them. The nurses who issue medications, are awesome and always upbeat. The maintenance crew are always on top of keeping up the building in good shape. The director is phenomenal and has done a stellar job of maintaining the standard of Leisure Vale high and it hasn't been an easy task. All in all we are very pleased with Leisure Vale.

Leisure Vale has been my home for the past 12 years, and I really do love it! I have a nice room and have had the freedom to create a beautiful garden that I enjoy working in. The most important thing I love about the facility is the wonderful and very caring staff! Many of them have worked here for a very long time, which I think says something about the character of the staff as well as the facility itself. We're located in a nice residential neighborhood very close to a number of stores within easy walking distance. There are daily activities, transportation to medical appointments and availability for weekly outings. I don't think any large facility could ever be 100% perfect, but Leisure Vale works hard to create a loving community, and I'm very happy to consider this my home!

Leisure Vale has been my home for three years, and I plan never to leave. The facility is fairly large, and laid out so that there are a variety of different size rooms, most of them with double occupancy. Most rooms are on the first floor and with access to the outside, which I really like. Housekeeping, caregiving and laundry are provided, and there is a large common living room with a TV, as well as several recreation rooms equipped with pianos and libraries, as well as additional TVs. All rooms are equipped with wifi. Residents enjoy activities such as bingo, loteria, card games and parties, and transportation is available for most medical purposes as well as for shopping or other outings. I have found the staff, most of whom speak both Spanish and English, to be dedicated, friendly and caring, and the Administrator's door is always open to residents who wish to bring their concerns. All in all a pleasant place to live.

Rooms are decent size. Food is usually good and sometimes fantastic. They try to change the menu up frequently so that we're not eating the same thing week in and week out. Large comfortable living room with big screen tv right next to the very large dining area. The staff all seem to want to be here and are very oriented to wanting to take care of the residents. They also provide activities to keep everyone entertained. Overall, a very pleasant place to be.

Leisure Vale was OK. It had a lot of spots to go outside to just enjoy being outside, but the rooms were kind of small. They had a big living room area with a big screen TV. The dining area seemed pretty nice, and they had a nice pool table, but my friend is not into playing pool. They also had a reading area and a magnifying machine where you could put the newspaper and read it. The people were nice, and there wasn't anybody who was rude.

My Mother has been at this facility since 2009, and I never worry about her. I know she is being well cared for. The staff is friendly, and she is happy with them. The facility is clean, and they decorate nicely. They take the time to have special guests come to entertain or educate the residents. The large living room with the big screen Tv, and fire place I really like, it makes it a very warm atmosphere. I feel very comfortable, when I am there. The parakeets are a nice touch. Mom always loved parakeets. The grounds outside in the front yard remind me of a place you would find in Santa Barbara, and Santa Barbara is a beautiful area. I would definitely recommend Leisure Vale. Driving up the street to the facility, there is a large Church on the hill that is very Majestic looking, it is part of the park that is down the street, it is breath taking.
