We moved my mother in Crescent Landing at Garden Grove Memory Care, and they've been very wonderful. They were very welcoming and everyone is very engaged. Everyone looks happy there, it seems like it's going to be a good fit. They have lots of activities and they cater to people with memory loss. It's been a very, very good place so far. The staff was very warm, very gentle, and very attentive. They have happy hour, they do stretching and exercises, they have a beauty day, and they have interactive games. The value for the money is very good.

My dad moved into Crescent Landing at Garden Grove Memory Care a week ago. The place seems nice. The staff was amazing so far. I toured the place, and they have great rooms. It was spacious and good. I paid for a double room, but he is by himself because they're low on people right now. So he will be getting a roommate, I imagine. It seems like they keep them busy all day long. They have a calendar of activities. The first day there, he's on their Facebook page dancing like two hours after he got there. So that was a good one. They have so much room. They have a huge amount of walking area. I haven't seen that in any other place. It's all dementia and Alzheimer's there, so there's no assisted living. They can go outside, walk around, and circle. It's pretty cool. That's good for him because he's a walker. The place seems awesome.

It has a nice garden that goes around the facility. If you have a patient who likes to walk, that's the place to go. I saw a private and a shared room. The rooms are clean. They have a good activity room. They really keep the clients busy. They have a lot of very nice activities. I didn't see any of them, but most clients were walking outside because of the garden. I like the people there. The activity room is nice, the garden is nice, and the rooms are nice. I like the lobby, too. There is a lobby room for family to pick them up or something like that. They are more involved with the clients, too.

It was pleasant and clean. They were very helpful. The room size was great and roomy enough for a queen-sized bed, and I liked that they have their own bathroom, so they can have some privacy. They had nice windows. They had crafts, painting, movies, and outings.

It was very pleasant, clean, and the staff was friendly. The people there were on short-term stay and some were long-term, and everybody was up and about. They don't keep anybody on the bed at all unless they're ill. Everybody was in wheelchairs or walkers, they were playing music on the piano, and they keep the residents busy. The rooms were nice and spacious. Even if it's a shared room, there's a lot of space around the twin beds. It just has a homey feel, not like a nursing home. The staff member who gave me the tour was very pleasant, answered all my questions, and took her time with me. She was not rushed or trying to sell me on the place. I even called her several times to ask her questions, and she was always available to answer.

My father stayed here for three days. Everything was topnotch. The staff was above and beyond what I expected. They were really good. The food was good. The dining area was very good. There were no complaints whatsoever. The staff tried to keep everybody busy. They had a humongous walking area, a humongous great room, a big TV area, and a lot of staff to help out.

Valley View Gardens was totally awesome. It was beautifully decorated located in a 2-acre lot with lots of concrete paths and walkways. There were 2 gazebos, and they took the residents out for walks in the sunshine. It was a totally secure place. Their staff members were mainly Filipinas and Mexicans, and they were just very loving and caring. They had a lot of activities and entertainment going on. Mom was in a private room with a half bath. There was an RN on staff all the time, and they had a visiting physician every 2 weeks, a visiting dentist to clean their teeth, a hairdresser, and a visiting podiatrist. They did all the lab works there. They had a separate dining room when a family comes over. They had an aviary inside, and they allowed pets, too. They had movies, games, and singing every night.

My husband is in here, he's getting excellent care, and I'm perfectly happy with it. He has assistance with dressing, toiletry, and bathing. I have no problems so far. They kept in touch with me with any slight thing they're concerned about.

It was an excellent facility, but too far away from my place. It seemed like they had great activities. They were dedicated to memory care only and had residents that had been there for a long time. They seemed to be real stable.

I didn’t think their rooms were that great. They were very dark and had mattresses on the floor, so people couldn’t get up. It looked sad. However, the grounds were fantastic. It sounded like they had good caregivers. I was looking for male caregivers for heavy male patients, which they had. The director was very good and caring.

I visited this facility for a tour. I was greeted by the marketing staff who were quite knowledgeable about the facility. I met the administrator who seemed caring and compassionate. This is a Alzheimer's/dementia facility and it is assisted living. Located near shopping, pharmacy services and restaurants. The downside is that it is on a busy, main street that is noisy. It is also very close to the 22 freeway for easy access. The exterior is lovely with alot of rose gardens and it seems very peaceful. In the dining room I was able to observe one of the activity programs going on and they had 2 dogs who seemed to fit right in. I toured private and semi-private rooms that were beautiful and state of the art decor. The staff seem excited about working in this facvility and demonstrate a attitude of compassion. I would recommend this for placement of a loved one.
