The Westmont of Cypress is well divided for different seniors and what their needs are. The food is five-star, and the help is very friendly and very professional. The ones that run it have done a great job to get us signed in and, at a time when we were tight on schedules, they made it happen with the medical field and all the paperwork they needed, and they got my mom in when I needed it. I was very pleased with the whole management of Westmont. The rooms, depending on if you're getting a suite or a single, are beautiful. They're new, they're spotless, kept up weekly, with cleaning services and so forth. It's all very nice. The memory care side has two large buildings split into different needs. My mom is in the memory care building, which has a different number but is still a part of Westmont, right in the same center. For activities, they have walking, games, movies, birthday parties, and different holidays they celebrate with the people there. I'm new at it, so I couldn't say much more right now, but it's got a lot of different classes. They give them DIY projects and little games to play like cards and so forth. Mom is not too active in her memory to do some of the activities but walking, and I think puzzles. They work with her a little bit for memory and recognition with cards and pictures. I think she's limited, as some are. The food is of very good quality, we're very pleased with it, and she's getting 3 meals a day there. They have amenities, but in my mom's memory site, I'm sure some are limited. The other side has a pool and weight rooms. I think the memory one is more on games and walking exercises. The games are to keep their mind sharper. It is a memory care building, so they're not doing other things that could be dangerous to them. The staff is very kind, very professional, gives good information, they're right on top of everything for me, and gives me lots of calls. The price is average for everyone. There are newer facilities which, when you start comparing them with this one, the prices here are within the comfortable rate. All 10 that I interviewed with are within a couple thousand of each other, and this being the newest and more updated, I thought it was very fair.

I toured this facility with my mother and found it to be very inviting! It's a newer facility and the rooms are beautiful/clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My mother really liked that the rooms had full kitchens and washer/dryers as her independence is important to her. The location and activities provided were awesome! This is definitely a contender when we are ready to commit!

We went to Westmont of Cypress. It was gorgeous. It's a brand-new community. One thing that I would have liked better is even though it was a shared room, it would have more of an individual bedroom, but it was way more expensive. What I didn't like also was the staff didn't seem as engaged. This was in the memory care section, and they didn't have a lot of room for Mom to walk around. She loves to go for walks and there was just a patio, so I didn't think that was appropriate, and there was a waiting list to get into the shared room. The person who took us on the tour was nice, but I was able to witness their activities director and she just seemed bored. They were doing a history lesson where they were talking about this day in history. She didn't seem all that engaging, like when I compared her to the activities director at the other place who's very excited to be with the residents. This person, it just seems like it's a job. She didn't care that much. They said they took them on walks but it's all street parking lot, so I don't know where they take them on walks.

Westmont of Cypress was practically brand new. Everything was shiny and had a nice finish to it. It had an exercise pool, which I found would be very helpful. You could walk in the pool for exercise. They gave us lunch, and it was delicious. Everybody seemed very friendly. What I didn't like was that it was all concrete with just a few shrubs around it. There was a nice patio, but there was absolutely no green space. The staff who assisted us with the tour was very helpful. She sat us down to lunch and said she'd be back, but she never came back. And so, we finally just left on our own.

Westmont of Cypress was a great place. It had the amenities that I needed. It had a kitchen in the room so there was an electric stove for cooking and the rooms were larger. The cost was more, but it was very, very clean. There's a pool and more variety of food. The tour was really good. They shared all the information I needed and they were not just family, but a business also.

Westmont of Cypress was extremely nice. It was just very expensive and located too far from me. The people that I toured with shared their background information, and they've kind of been through very similar experiences, so I felt like they understood where we were coming from. I didn't feel like they were a sales person per se, trying to make their quota or anything like that, but it was really more on what the most important thing was for the person that we were looking for. It's wonderful. They have a salon, physical therapy, a gym, a barbecue area, a piano room, and an outdoor pool that can service people that are very limited/need wheelchair assistance. It was all very modern and very updated. They have a lot of activities both indoors and outdoors. They have a happy hour area and a sports area to watch the big screen TVs, as well as a spa to get your hair/nails done. It's very nice and very use-friendly. Some of the residents were all very happy, too.

We went and toured Westmont of Cypress. It was brand new. It was basically like having your own little mini apartment. They had washers and dryers in the unit and full little mini kitchens in the units with stoves and microwaves. If you're looking for like an apartment kind of style with care provided, it is a great place. It was a tad more expensive for my father-in-law, and it was much too large for him. They have a movie theater, a swimming pool, and a gym. It was brand new and topnotch. Their memory care facility was amazing as well. The person who took me around was very well educated. He explained everything to us and tried to show us as much as we could see.

Westmont of Cypress was like a five-star hotel. It was very, very expensive, but they have tons of amenities and lots of activities. They have a pool,a movie theater, a physical therapy room, and lots of stuff going on. I'd like to move there myself. We saw both assisted living and memory care and it has been open since last December, so it's new. The lady who was giving us a tour was very thorough, very kind, and friendly.

I have seen Westmont of Cypress, and I liked everything about it. They were all very friendly, they said hello to me when I walked by, and the girl in charge was fantastic. Everything about the facility is beautiful, it's new. They have daily activities. They have a gym, a theater, a library, a pool, and physical therapy. They've got it all there.

I've visited Westmont of Cypress memory care. It had some apartment complexes built in for assisted living and the other side was memory care. It was a great facility. Everything was very new and very fresh. It didn't look like a senior living facility. It was a good thing because some places are very depressing to be in. This place just seemed like it was breath of fresh air. It's a great environment, and a place that I would love for my mom to go. The staff that gave me the tour was very informative. She gave us a lot of information, was very helpful, and was very honest about the pricing. She told us how much we can go up to depending on this, that, and the other. She was very upfront. The dining area was very nice, and everything was new. It was very uplifting to be there, unlike the other one I toured which felt doom and gloom. They have activities always going on, depending on the level that the patient needs and the care that they need.

Westmont of Cypress is brand new. At the time that I went there, only about 50+ people were living there, and I think they could handle a little over 100. So, a lot of the activities haven't started yet, because there weren't enough people to go with some of this stuff, but they have meeting places for them such as the theater and a bar area. I went with two friends and we were invited for lunch, which was lovely. It's a restaurant-style dining with open seating and a huge menu. The food was delicious and the staff was very, very pleasant. The apartment was a little bit bigger and it's kind of nice and all spanking new.

Westmont of Cypress was really nice. It's a new facility that just opened up. The rooms are nice. The staff members are nice. They showed me their lunch and dinner menu, and they offer a variety. The location is good because my sister lives close by. They showed me their daily activities. They have a movie theater and a room where they hold their activities. There were outside grounds that had a swimming pool that was gated, and barbecue areas. I saw the studio because that's what I was interested in, and it was nice-sized. I like what they offer.
