Ivy Park at Otay Ranch is a very clean and very friendly place. My brother-in-law likes it and they have great food. Their rooms are pretty big and it's very clean. He shares a room with someone in memory care and he's well taken care of. The staff is great and he enjoys their presence. He's very happy with them. They do games including memory games and bingo, exercise, and music therapy. They also go on field trips.

I toured Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. I couldn't see the walking areas that my mother would need and the rooms were smaller than the other facility, which is important to my mother. The staff was very punctual. They showed me around. They seemed very friendly. It's a beautiful facility. The rooms that my mother would like I don't think are easily available. They seem to be the first rooms taken, so I'm not sure I could get her into that.

I toured Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. What happened was, I explained why I was looking for another facility. I was looking for something more affordable. So, the director I met with explained the financial situation with the home and that my friend would need to be assessed for his care and likely it would exceed the amount he was currently paying. I could see the facility, it's very new, and extremely nice, but not affordable. The upkeep, it's immaculate. It's extremely nice. It looked like a high-end hotel. The dining area looked very nice. I don't know what the food was like because I didn't see it, but the dining atmosphere was very nice. It's a spacious facility. The staff was very good and I appreciated that she explained the finances right away. She was very professional.

I've only toured Ivy Park at Otay Ranch, and that's because it was more economical than the other place and it's closer to my mom's friend. It was a nice facility. It gave the impression of being in a hotel or a resort. It looks like it has all the amenities and everything. It was a positive experience. The staff was very helpful, very friendly, and welcoming. They answered all our questions. The building was inviting. Everything was clean. It's a very nice place. The atmosphere was nice. It was like a nice, wide-open space, bright, light, and welcoming.

We went to the Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. We were there just to eat and it was nice. It's like a hotel. So far, the people I met were all right. The food was alright, and you were served like, in a restaurant. They showed us places where they can exercise. The staff was very helpful. It was clean.

I liked the openness of the areas at Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. The staff was very friendly and informative. The place was very big. It had a modern look to it, and it looked very new. It was very clean. They had a little bar area for coffee, and it seemed like they had a lot of amenities there.

Ivy Park at Otay Ranch was good and clean. I didn't see anything that needed to be painted or have any repairs. They didn't have a pool, but they had a crafting room and a theater. They only had one dining area, but it was nice. It was like going into a restaurant. They had a gym. They had a little outside area that they were going to start redoing because it was more sandy. The residents were concerned because some of the people in wheelchairs were getting stuck in the sand, and it was difficult for them to get out. The little garden area was really pretty. The staff was very helpful. There was no pressure. Before I left, she gave me a box of cookies that the chef had made that day, and they were delicious. The dining area was pretty spacious. The tables were spaced out a little bit more, so you were able to get around them a little easier.

I toured Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. It's brand new. It's a very nice facility. It's very light, airy, and open. The residents that I saw there seemed to be very happy. I went into the dining area and talked with some of them about the food, and they said it was excellent. I looked at the large studio and the small studio. The small studio was more than enough room for my mom. I was quite impressed with it. It was a good size and very pleasant. The bathroom was a very good size. The whole building is brand new, so it looks very fresh and clean. They supply the refrigerator and the microwave in the unit. However, I wasn't impressed with the staff who toured me. She was not friendly. I think what she was doing was something that is not normally her duty. I waited for about 15 minutes, and she didn't strike me as being friendly. They gave me some home-baked cookies before I left, and they were delicious.

The staff at Ivy Park at Otay Ranch was very good with following up. We set up a tour at our convenience and we met with the marketing director, and she was very thorough. We sat down first and kind of talked about our needs and what we were looking for, then she gave us a tour of the facility and several different models. After the tour, she also followed up and we told her what we liked about the property and we are planning to go back. They offered us a lunch the first time but we had to pass. When we go back, we're going to have lunch and see the specific units that we were deciding amongst. They showed us four different options, but there were two that we were most interested in. The staff said before we come in, she would let me know if something happens to those units, so I appreciated that. What I liked most was that all the different levels of care were all within the one building. It would be easy for my loved one to navigate, going from their unit to the dining hall and where all the main activities would be versus several buildings or cottages or things like we saw at some of the other facilities. Ideally, she would be starting out in kind of an independent care versus the full-on memory care, and so the ability for her to make her way around the community without getting lost is important. They had a beauty salon, a dining room, a game room, and a library. They had all the amenities that were comparable to all the communities that we visited.

Ivy Park at Otay Ranch was wonderful. I visited both assisted living and memory care. It's absolutely beautiful. It seemed more like an upscale hotel. Jennifer was so nice, very informative, and very helpful. They have a gym, music, arts and crafts, and a movie theater. The room was very nice. It was set up beautifully, but you provide your own furniture. The staff gave us some chocolate chip cookies at the end of the tour.

Ivy Park at Otay Ranch was absolutely gorgeous. It's newer, and everybody was super nice and informative. They gave me a tour of the place. It's really nice, and I think mom would like it there. I took her yesterday to take a tour herself and she really liked it, which was surprising. My mom really doesn't communicate any kind of joy or anything because she has dementia, but she liked it. I really didn't look at the amenities yet, but I was hearing that they were gonna do a painting class when I was there. It sounds like they have all kinds of activities. I saw the activity board from across the room in the lobby, and it was full. She will be in memory care, so it's a full lockdown with their own little garden area outside. The room was very big and spacious. The bathroom was big. You can get into it if you have a wheelchair or anything else, like my mom uses a walker; it will be easy for her to get around. They were serving lunch when I left with my mom yesterday, and it smelled really good.

My mom likes Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. She met a few older women there who were very sweet. The location is also close to the family. What she didn't like is the outdoor facility there. They have a courtyard that is kind of like a prison yard. It's completely enclosed within the building, with walls straight up, down, and all the way around it, and it is kind of a different feeling being outdoors there. The girl who gave us the tour was very energetic and excited about her job, as well as the facility. They gave us a delicious apple pie, but we didn't stay for lunch.
