My friend has moved into Ivy Park at Burbank. It was a great experience from the beginning. The parking was easy and accessible to the main lobby. When we got to the main lobby, a welcome sign welcomed us for the tour. We had a wonderful tour. It was very informative about just the general property. The property itself was clean and bright. What impressed me was that they were all well-groomed and pleasant, and they weren't pandering. You knew they were health care professionals that cared and tried to take an interest in the person. That's what meant a lot to me. So I was very impressed with that. The place itself was beautiful. The model we saw that became my friend's studio apartment was beautiful, too. The place was newly renovated. They have new appliances and new cabinets. Just cheerful and wonderful. I can't say enough about Ivy Park. I think their services are fine. My friend just came out of the hospital, but I know that she is getting all the services there at Ivy Park. She's getting her medications managed, she's getting great meals, and today, physical therapy was coming up. We met the activities director, and there are activities, but my friend is not able to participate at this time. But I know the activities are great.

I went to Ivy Park at Burbank and visited their memory care. I liked that it had a very low residency. They didn't care for a whole lot of people. So, there was a lot of help per resident and the rooms were large and nice. Dawn, the woman who was in charge of the place, was very helpful, very nice, and gave me a lot of information. I saw a single room with a large bathroom. The room itself was also large with the windows. So, that was unique to Ivy Park at Burbank. It had the biggest room of any place that I looked at. The menu was very impressive, both for the cafe and the restaurant itself. There were two restaurants. They had a movie theater, a seating area, sort of recreation rooms, and outdoor spaces. They had a lot of options.

I like Ivy Park at Burbank. It was a very nice facility. I probably like it a little bit better than the other place, but it was a lot farther away for me. They had like a display area outside of each person's room to put their special pictures or special things. They had a lot of almost continuous daily activities that people can join. They keep the people very busy. It wasn't a mandatory type thing, and you can join or not join. They had all kinds of different games and different things to do. Another thing I like with them is the decent parking. They also had these little balconies for the memory facility. The staff member who toured me was very bubbly, and she keeps calling me.

The general appearance and layout are good. My mom seems to be happy there. Staff seems to be friendly and helpful. The dining area is always clean and the appearance looks good. Mom does bingo. She's actually been there for a couple years now and moved in June 2015.

I went here, and this place is nice. They had a library and a workout room. They also have a television area. They also have a club where they held happy hours every Friday. The staff was attentive, and there were also more staff.

My tour was awesome. Nicole, the person who gave the tour, was great. My best friend's aunt just moved in there a month ago, and everything went great for her. I like the facility. It's clean, and the meal program was great. They have a little cafe and a lot of activities. The rooms are great. It's just pleasant.

The people were hospitable. They were nice, they showed me around, and it’s clean. The building looks like a hotel. The residents furnished their apartments; they showed me one furnished very nicely. They showed me the restaurant -- it had a nice setting, and they had a small backyard. They need to improve on the parking space; it was small.

It is a very nice facility and the only reason why we didn't go with this one because it was far. Their halls were nice and wide so it didn't feel cramped in the hallways. It's very well lit. Carpets were out. It looks like a very upscale hotel. The staff was very friendly. The walls in the hallways had this bar that people can hold on and the bar looked like an art decor. It was really nice. The rooms were large. They had a device were they would put something on the senior citizens so that if they fall and they stay on the floor too long, it will start beeping the front desk and that was a very nice feature. If you're sick the meals will be brought to your rooms. They have a movie room where you go in and all the chairs were like a movie theater style, very nice. I really like that aspect.
