My sister-in-law chose Cogir of Brentwood Senior Living because she decided to stay in Northern California. She chose it because the people were very friendly, and it seemed like a very nice facility. They have a nice system where, when you come in you sign in on a computer, and you give your information. So I think it's nice that it's good security. You could stay and have a meal with your friend or relative. It is a facility where they have a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom. So you can have a choice. The facility is very clean, and I noticed they have a birdcage in the dining room area. It was very interesting to see the birds. I just like the facility. It's very well built and it's a very pretty facility. The staff members are very nice. So I just found it to be a really nice and very good facility. I have not personally tried the food. My sister went with my sister-in-law and her daughter, and they had a Valentine's luncheon, and my sister found the food to be excellent. I saw that going to my sister-in-law's place, people have different signs on their doors like it's their home, which I've never experienced before. I just thought that was very different. My sister-in-law met several that were there for many years, so they like it, otherwise, they would not have stayed there. I know they have a swimming pool and I know they have a lot of events where they would go on a bus to different places outside of the city like they'll go to Sacramento for lunch. And I know that they have activities for people if they want to travel, like to Europe. They have a variety of offerings. I know my sister-in-law pays under $5000. I also like the idea that it's month to month, so you don't have to sign a contract for a year. They offer month to month, and it is a lower price. She is independent. So that is a good deal, because I hear outrageous prices like $12,000. I think that the price is reasonable.

Cortona Park was very nice that's why we're going to pick it. It had 2-bedrooms, which I like, so it won't be so crowded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and the presentation of the food was nice. They have card games going on and they have people swimming in a swimming pool. I looked on a chart where you could sign up to go to the casinos, they go to a different casino once a month and I love that. They also show movies, they have a movie theater. One of the bedrooms is small but I can get my king-sized bed in the other one, so that was great.

Everyone here was very friendly. Since I was working, they came to my house to do the paperwork, so I didn't have to take more time off work to do that. They made it very easy for me. Everything was very nice. My mom's room is a very good size for her needs. They have field trips, bingo, some sort of happy hour, and barbecues. There were quite a lot of things to choose from.

I like that it was very clean and modern, and it had a lot of amenities. They have their library, a theater room, a pool, and just lots of options for activities. They do restaurant outings, play bingo, play cards, and arts and crafts. The staff was all so nice too, especially Adrianne. She was the lady I met with. She's amazing. It's assisted living, and we saw a studio and a 1-bedroom apartment. They were both nice.

Our tour at here was fine. It was very professional. The reason we chose that place was that other places had a cooking odor and other odors, debris kind of laying around, but this place had none of those. It was very nice and professionally run. The staff was very nice. I spoke with Hilda and with Adrianne, and they were both very professional and informative. The room my mom would be getting is much larger than I anticipated it would be. She's got room for all of her favorite things. The closets are adequate. The bathroom has plenty of room for maneuvering. She will be going over there with a motorized powered chair, and there's room to store that in the unit, so it overall felt more like home-like. They have a full meal service. They can dine in the dining room or they can request their meals in their room. They have movies every night, they have outings, and they can request rides. If my mom wanted to go to the shopping center, she can request a ride, and they will take her. She doesn't have to have a car there, which is comforting. She has access to a computer if she wants to in the main area. There are areas where tucking in near fireplace and reading, and they have some attractive garden courtyard with water features and raised planters so the residents can do a little gardening if they like. The staff was very open, welcoming, friendly, and informative.

It is very nice, clean and welcoming. The staff has been nice. According to my dad, the food is good and he seems to be enjoying it. They have musicians come in and do performances, some special events, and exercise programs.

We moved in a week ago. So far, we have been very pleased. There are lots of activities, but we haven't done any of them yet because we have been so busy moving. There are three meals a day. The staff is very friendly. They offer shuttle service to doctors' appointments and once-a-week housecleaning and bed changing. They also take care of our medications.

My father moved in. The staff is very kind, considerate, and helpful. They have a nice facility, and they were really patient. They welcomed him and made him feel so comfortable. It seems to be working out really well now. He really likes the food and it seems like there's a lot of entertainment and things to do. They're a great staff.

My brother has a studio apartment on the ground floor. It is filled with grab bars and has an appropriate kitchen layout. He has the right kind of assistance from the caregivers and medtech three times a day. The place is beautiful and has a very nice swimming pool and facilities for exercise and therapy. Overall, it's a very good place.

I visited here. It’s newer, and the apartments were larger, which was very nice. I thought the place was beautiful. It’s very nice and modern. Yesterday, they had singers in, and they were having a show with musical from Phantom of the Opera. I know there were a lot of people watching it. It was very nice. The grounds were very nice. It is close to restaurants, doctor’s offices, a hospital, and a grocery. The place itself is kept up very well.

It was very nice and seemed to be more independent than the other one that I visited. It was an assisted living, but I thought some of the residents seemed to be a little bit more independent there. They had a gym, a pool, a movie room, a library, and someone that did exercise every day with them. The staff was very friendly, very nice, very accommodating, and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to other people. They had full kitchen in their apartments, which was really nice. They had a beautiful dining area, nice outdoor patios, and beauty shops.

I was impressed with the people at here. The place was very nice and pretty. A lot of people from where I live moved there. It's close to where we live and the restaurants and stores we know. It's like you're still living in the area with all the facilities you are used to, so it's very convenient. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and very thorough in the description of the facility.

My mother lives here. She has been there for two years. From my interactions when I visited there, the staff all seem competent and friendly. They are good. There are different floor plans depending upon the need. My mom has a two-bedroom place, and it is more than adequate from a space perspective. When I have eaten there, the dining was fine. I was there one New Year's Eve, and there was a nice New Year's Eve celebration. It was good, and I think it was enjoyed by the residents, so there are special activities and trips to the local casinos, and I know a number of residents participated in them.

The staff was very gracious. The eating hall was lovely. It looked like a cruise ship where everybody was all set up, and they were all smiling at little tables. I remember there was transportation, but I wasn't much into the amenities as opposed to just trying to see how much for what price and if mom needed extra help bathing and that kind of stuff, if that was available, if there was an increase in needs, and if that could be accommodated. They did have a schedule of what was going on. I did not pay attention to that, but it was posted on the front lobby. It seemed very upscale. It was brand new and sparkling clean. It was a really nice facility -- five stories high -- and they have balconies. It was fancy. It is very convenient. Right across are some medical suites, and then right down the road is another set of medical suites, so those two things are close by.

I visited and what is important to me is that their food is OK. I also like the facility because it has stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer in the room. The staff are wonderful. The rooms were very nice and open. It has good lighting.
