It provides primary care to U.S. military veterans and their families, in addition to mental health services and prescriptions. In other cases, it refers seniors to the Richmond VA Medical Center. It can also refer seniors to the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, which can help veterans identify and apply for state, federal and military benefits, such as VA Aid and Attendance, which can pay some assisted living costs. |

The Equipment Connection | (540) 373-2559 | The Equipment Connection provides cleaned and repaired medical equipment to seniors for free, under the proviso that they return it when no longer needed. Seniors with permanent and temporary disabilities can request equipment. Seniors can also make requests for nonprescription equipment, such as shower handles, directly. |
