LCAP, Licking County’s largest senior center, coordinates programs to help residents over 60 delay entry into a long-term care residence. Seniors can enjoy nutritious lunches on-site or receive Meals on Wheels. Personal care, homemaking and transportation to medical appointments are also available. The agency also arranges a wide range of activities, clubs and social services. The LCAP houses the Center for Visual Improvement.

LCCC offers seniors a wealth of social opportunities, including congregate meals, exercise programs, lectures, crafts, table games, book and writing clubs. Participants can attend concerts and join the LCCC chorus as well. 


Catholic Social Services (CSS)(740) 345-2565 

CSS’s Senior Support program makes it easier for low-income and vulnerable seniors to remain independent and safe in their homes with individualized case management, companionship, non-medical assistance, money management and payee services. CSS also arranges transportation to non-emergency medical appointments throughout the state of Ohio. The agency trains active seniors to serve as foster grandparents in area schools as well.

Easterseals Central & Southeast Ohio administers the state’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman program for Licking County residents. This service educates consumers about long-term care services and the rights of community residents and their families. COAAA arranges services to help seniors maintain independence while
