Services under Customized living (CL) and 24-hour services include six categories described below. Activities of daily living (ADL) assistance. ADL assistance includes assisting the person with: Bathing Continence care Dressing Eating Grooming Positioning Transferring Using a wheelchair Walking. AMA Group Home is unique in that we provide care in an actual home instead of an institutional care center. Our home is open to adults who are unable to manage independent living in their own homes. Currently, we support clients with developmental and physical disabilities as well as those with mental illness and brain injuries. We provide: Medication Management - Highly trained professionals manage each client’s medications and provide explanation of medications to clients as needed. Assist with Activities of Daily Living - With support available around the clock, clients have access to support to get through daily routine/ tasks (i.e driving, shopping or personal care). Behavior Support Plans - Clients receive well-rounded care that includes a personalized behavior support plan. Staff meet the individual and cultural needs of each client. Private Rooms - Clients can relax and enjoy in their own designated space to ensure around the clock privacy. Financial Management - Working towards a goal of independence, clients will receive financial management resources and assistance.
