This urban senior complex is near shopping, restaurants and several parks, and is close to the commuter rail station and the Merrimack River. Lawrence General Hospital and several other medical facilities are minutes away, and Boston is a 30-minute commute from Lawrence. Seniors can choose from one- and two-bedroom apartments with hardwood floors, high ceilings, Energy Star appliances and central heat and air conditioning. Water and heat are included in the rent, and wheelchair-accessible units are available. Sacred Heart Apartments is a smoke-free, income-restricted community, and pets under 40 pounds are welcome. The property manager is on-site three days a week, and emergency maintenance service is available 24 hours a day. Seniors can exercise in the state-of-the-art fitness center and wash clothes in the on-site laundry facility. The clubhouse has a business center and a community room with a kitchen and a large-screen TV.
