Serenity Senior Residence operates inside of a handsome red brick building at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by a residential neighborhood in Metairie, Louisiana. Situated less than a mile away from East Jefferson General Hospital, Serenity's community is located between the Mississippi River and the Lakefront Trail that runs along the bank of Lake Ponchartrain, where seniors can walk their dogs or stop for a game of tennis at Lakefront Country Club. Seniors at Serenity have as much independence and privacy as their health allows. We view our homes as “the caring alternative to nursing homes and the intimate alternative to assisted living.” Family members and loved ones will get the attention and care that they deserve, but are not able to get in a large institutional facility.
