An All Inclusive - Superior Personal Care Home We welcome visitors and out of town families to come spend some time with us. We love to have volunteers from the community visit our home. This is a wonderful way for children to learn compassion for their elders. Polly's Place would not have been possible without my grandmother, Elizabeth Marie "Polly" Brooksher. We have been care giving for her for ten years and she has been living with us for the past four years. The love we have for her is like the love we have for our children. We want her to feel happy, safe, and loved. Some people think my grandmother is a burden but we know she is a Blessing. We believe everything happens for a reason and the reason is "Polly's Place". It is because of my grandmother that we visited several personal care homes and assisted living facilities. We quickly recognized a need for a superior personal care home. My family and I share a simple vision. To provide a home where loved ones can come and be happy, safe, and healthy - A home with love, respect, honesty, and security. It is our commitment to treat everyone that joins our family the way we expect our own grandmother to be treated. Polly's Place is a state licensed personal care home located in Loganville, Georgia. Our home is situated on 10 country acres where we offer superior senior living. Our residency level is set at 6 ensuring everyone is treated like family. We provide everything your loved one needs to feel safe, happy, and secure. We welcome visitors and out of town families to come spend some time with us. We make sure everyone spends time each day either watching the birds from the sunroom, enjoying the sunset on the front porch, relaxing on the screen porch, or exploring the outdoor garden. We believe that what you put into your body directly affects your health. This is why we prepare fresh meals and non-processed healthy snacks. We also incorporate a daily vitamin with doctor's permission. We believe in the important roll pets play in reducing stress levels and improving overall health. This is why we are a pet friendly home. We have indoor pets and outdoor farm animals. Please let us know if your loved one has a cherished pet we will do everything we can to make it a part of the Polly's Place family. We believe in the power of touch. It is very stimulating both physically and mentally. This is why our residents enjoy weekly massages from certified massage therapists with their doctor's permission. We believe poor oral health is a risk factor for serious systemic health problems in the elderly. Nutrition also suffers with decreased dental health. Every day your loved one will have the attention they need to maintain good oral health. Services and Fees At Polly's Place your loved one will be cared for by trained, loving and devoted staff. It is our commitment to give each individual the care they need. We meet with each resident and family member prior to move-in to ensure everything is done to make Polly's Place feel like home. We provide everything your loved one needs, when they need it. Some of our services include: Personal assistance with daily needs like bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and medication management. Assistance with feeding (we will prepare any food) Nutritious meals, snacks, and beverages (served all day and night) Phone/Cable TV/Internet services Planned recreational, religious, social and leisure activities Personal care items (deodorant, mouthwash, toothpaste, incontinence supplies, etc.) Beauty Salon, Barber services, and Nail Care Daily housekeeping, linen and laundry services Residents of Polly's Place will incur a monthly cost of $4,200.00 and can be confident that there will be no extra charges at the end of the month. We are currently a Private Pay home and cannot accept insurance as a form of payment. We give a discount for using direct deposit and can accept most credit cards.
