Both of Scottsdale's senior centers have tournament quality billiards tables as well as a countless array of board games, badminton and Wii Games.
Area Agency on Aging, Region One(602) 264-2255Area Agency on Aging Region One serves those over the age of 60 in the Phoenix Metro Area, which includes Scottsdale. Seniors, their families and caregivers can obtain a variety of direct and indirect services through this agency. Direct services include case management, balance workshops designed to minimize slip-and-fall events, diabetes management workshops and Medicare/Medicaid counseling. Indirect services include referrals to local, state and federal resources for older persons and assistance filling out forms and navigating the application process for public benefits.
