The staff on the floor are really nice and friendly and I truly appreciated them. But there simply is not enough of them. My mother went so long between diaper changes. I was there with her one day and she called for a change at 12:00 pm. The diaper was not changed until right before 2:00. I mean, it was because the CNA had to distribute food trays, I know, but shouldn't somebody else have that duty so CNA's are able to do things like diaper changes?? But, they were nice, just B-U-S-Y. There are roaches. I know, all these places will have them to a point, but when food was brought and a bug crawls out and a worker stomps on it right there in front of me, that's bad. My mother could not use her arms and she told me she saw a roach on the wall one night right by her. Imagine how awful it is to think a roach might crawl on you and you can't use your hands to swat it away. Mom's blood sugar was tested at 345 one day (she is a diabetic, but she was given pancakes and full-sugar syrup for breakfast) and the insulin could not be given because they needed a "sliding scale." She had already received insulin there before so I was perplexed how this was not already documented. It was an hour before she got it and her sugar was up even more, but the nurse said, "Oh, I've seen it worse. I've seen it up to 700 with some people." Yeah, that's what we were trying to prevent. The administrators are not professional. Granted, it was an emotional situation and I know I blew my cool a few times, but I think as professionals they should know how to deal with stressed out family. Example of unprofessional behavior: Upon winning an appeal to keep my mother there for rehab, the head nurse came into the room with the paper and said yes, we won, but "don't get too happy about this" because she would be booted soon regardless. And, the rehab: In 20 days, she really got 1 real day of rehab. Granted, I know the hospital pushed her out too early , but that's another issue. I still felt that putting her in a chair one day, then leaving her in bed for over a week (the main PT was out) with no real exercise? It was awful. I don't care what happens, my loved ones will not go there again if I have my say.

Sorry in advance for the long review. My grandmother was a patient here. Before covid, at least one of my family members was at the facility daily to see her and things seemed, for the most part, ok. Since covid, the nursing home has been closed to family. When she was recently moved to another facility in Little Rock, Waters of White Hall told my family they would let them know when she was being transported, so they could be in the parking lot to see her. After not receiving a call for several days, my mom called and asked when they were moving my grandmother. They had moved her 3 days prior and didn't bother to let anyone know. The nursing home was supposed to send all of her belongs with her (clothing, tv, pictures on the wall, etc). When my grandmother passed away last week and family went to gather her things from the LR home, they were told nothing was sent with her except a few old pieces of clothing that were several sizes too small. Upon checking with the Waters of White Hall, they turned over a few little things and a tv. The tv was switched out with an old used tv, all of her clothes are missing, her lamp, the pictures on the wall, any gifts we've given her. My aunt had the foresight to write down the serial number of the new television before she took it to the nursing home and it's not the same one. All of my grandmother's things are gone. Maybe this is a random, one time thing, but people need to think long and hard before sending a defenseless family member with dementia here, especially now that no one can check on them.

My visit at White Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been good. The work attitude of the staff were good as well. The apartments were a little small. They have bingo and cards. They do exercises. They have church forums, and sometimes they bring in pets for pet therapy. I’d just like them to improve the size of their rooms.

White Hall is newer than the others, and I heard good things about it. It was clean, didn’t smell bad, and the staff seemed nice. I thought it was expensive. The rooms were nice, and you could have a private room if you paid more, but otherwise you will have a roommate. I was there when they had a birthday party. They have meals that you can eat with your folks if you want to.

my mother was cared for in this facility for several years until she died... they gave her very qualified help and treated our family well also... they were especially helpful during the last days of my moms life as Alzheimer took her into eternity... They did not but now do have a special alzheimer wing in their facility... They give great care and do care about the residents and the families..

When I first visited White Hall Nursing Home, I was very impressed with the building and grounds. It is exceptionally maintained, with special touches like beautiful plants and flowers. Inside, it is equally beautiful. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. You can tell that the administrators take pride in their facility. I have visited a friend in this facility multiple times, and there are always numerous staff members present and available. You can really tell by their interaction with the residents that the staff members care for their residents. There are a number of activities available for the residents' enjoyment on a daily basis. I have personally been there during concerts, bingo, movies and beauty salon time. The staff makes a concerted effort to include all the residents in the activities. Residents also seem to be treated more like special guests than just residents. Everyone is just so pleasant and polite. I know that if I ever have a need for my own family, I will certainly use this facility. I also recommend it to all my friends. White Hall Nursing Home is an exemplary example of an assisted living facility.
