My father recently spent a few weeks at Russellville Nursing & Rehab. I would not recommend anyone place a family member at this facility. My dad tried to get the staff's attention for three hours without a response. When I complained I was told, "that is hard to believe, we'll review the cameras." When I followed up, I was told the cameras were not working that morning. Really? No, they did review the cameras, saw my father was not lying & didn't want to admit it. The food was terrible & they don't have a heart healthy diet! They left my father in a wheelchair in his room out of reach of the call button for 2 hours. He finally used his cell phone to get a hold of someone to come help him. I had to fight to get them to give him a shower. Not all the staff were lazy or terrible or mean, some were great, just not enough of them to make a difference.

My husband was at Russellville Rehab and Nursing Home. The staff was wonderful, but the one thing I didn’t like about this facility was that there weren't any private rooms. My husband was very lucky in that he didn’t have anyone in the room with him until a couple of days before he left. The meal was OK and what I would expect in a nursing home. My husband couldn’t participate in anything, but there was something on the activities calendar every day, like bingo and bean bag toss. Overall, the atmosphere was good and better than the other facility I visited.
