I went to this nursing/ rehab facility for therapy for a knee surgery I had just had. It stunk really bad when I went in. They wheeled me to my room and I went to the bed and tried to sit down and the front of the be collapsed. When I finally got on the bed I looked and it looked funny. The mattress was hanging over the metal bed frame about 6 to 8 inches on the right side. I could have slipped off the bed if I was to get up. Then while they were fixing the bed I went to the bathroom and I looked at the toilet and it had dried poop on the front of it. I told the nurse she got a wet rag and wiped the front of the toilet where the poop was and then wiped the top off. I ended up cleaning the toilet before I used it. I said to my self I checking myself out of this place and had my daughter come pick me up and I left. I just didn’t feel comfortable while I was there and it was only a few hours. The only good thing is the stuff is very friendly. And the food was not bad.

The staffing at Care Manor was very nice. They were hands on from what I could see. Everything looked clean, but the building was just very, very old. The walls were darker and dingier. They're also doing some construction on it, so they were very cramped. The gentleman was very nice and answered all our questions. He was very good, and he let us do a later tour.

My father is currently at Care Manor for rehab. The place appears nice, and the lobby is nice and welcoming. It's a rehab and a nursing home. There's a general population that's been living there for years and years, and these rehab clients are kind of mixed in with them. The place spends most of its time feeding these people and keeping them clean, so the clients only get one hour or maybe two hours of rehab a day out of 24 hours. The staff, nurses, and the nursing assistants are incredibly friendly and loving. They have the regular three or four food selections, and they are good. I just don't like that they're mixing the people that are just coming in for 20 days to get rehab with the general population that lives there. They have activities every day, and the staff is very helpful to the clients.

The front office is unorganized and the staff unknowledgeable about Medicare and Medicaid billing which makes it difficult to provide the best medical care for families. Second, my friend's father became severly dehydrated at this nursing home and never recovered which left a very poor taste to their departure. Other residents also complained about the Nursing Home as well.
